Frost field and the spin from your reaper form will do tons more damage as it stacks frost ticks per swing, so, more bleeding then you end with the lunge to get the frost aura
I don't really PvE much these days, but I've been playing the "procmancer" condi reaper build in PvP and it's DEVASTATING! Ever since reaper was released in HoT I never thought it'd be good for condi builds, and yet, here we are.
What do you mean? For a majority of reapers release it was great for condi and the power build was always super weak until ANET literally gutted most of the condition damage in reaper and gave it better power options. And even since then condition reaper has always been really good until like 3 years ago.
How you can use pistols with reaper? I play pvp but when I choose in specializations reaper, I cant use pistol spells even when I can equip. I have it grey. any advice?
This is somewhat related but not really. Why has no one made a video of all the new weapons with each class? I'm trying to see guardian with dual pistols,ranger with dual maces, warrior with staff etc. I dont have the expansion yet as I'm a new player but I still want to see which class I should main based on animations. I'm just asking cause it seems like a easy video idea.
If you're using the Pistol and Torch... why choose Reaper over Harbinger? They seem like they'd play essentially identically except the Reaper has nothing to synergize with the conditions provided by the Pistol and Torch. I started playing Condi Reaper after SotO now that I could use Relic of the Reaper with a Rune that was even adequate for a Condi build. I've thought about using the Pistol or Scepter they just really don't seem to add anything useful to the Reaper.
True, they don't really add much paired with reaper but a hybrid approach seemed to do well. Another comment suggested running celestials and going that way but it could work either. The chill bleeding and poison from the reaper 4 ability made me try this out. Worked pretty well imo
Mark my words, Pistol with Reaper/Scourge is going to get nerfed in the Sept 26th patch. Go blast while you can, because CMC is definitely going to tune it down. Harbinger will probably be OK since it's the intended weapon for the spec.

I don't understand why this affects and angers you. RUclipsrs have been doing this method basically since the beginning of RUclips for general video tags. It helps people find relevant content for the game when they are searching. So really, it's a win win for people trying to find relevant GW2 content they are searching and it's helping the content creator.
You ever heard of tags? It’s to help with the searches. It’s so if you look any class up it’ll help pull his videos up to be found easier. He’s gotta keep the lights on too. Most content creators do it. It’s so if you search for something let’s say “GW2 thief build” this vid can pop up as well to help people who might change their mind and want to try this. It’s not bullshit at all lmao. Learn how content creation works. It’s not just to get more views it’s also to help with people looking up multiple class builds for this game and it making it easy instead of typing in a different class each time. It’s called the smooth flow or transition. I swear people always have something to say without actually knowing the cause as to why.

Thats what I've been running and I love it. The extra interrupts from pistol and torch, plus GS, the Reaper shroud, and the added survivability.
I feel like a celestial hybrid build would work really well here as well!

If you have the weaponmaster skills from secrets of the obscure you should be able to use it

I'd imagine so, haven't tested it. I'd say it's decently strong just due to the reaper doing reaper things
