- Thanks to the Brawl hacking community, I can now extract DSPs, brstms, and more from my Gamecube collection. This is a piece from one of my favorite Gamecube games - Super Monkey Ball 2.

Clock Tower was drastically harder than the previous world. This world was a real roadblock for me as a kid.
Warp was an absolute nightmare for me
Momentum always fkd me up
Ikr, make a person that's never touched this but have played celeste or super meat boy, and they'll agree this game is even more brutal
@@lightvoid7089 As a kid I didn't have a problem with the momentum level. But for some reason 15 years later I struggle with that level so badly.
The music should've clued you in to that.
Grew up in poverty I got to play this in 2008. Big bro and I had a blast I was 12 at the time he was 14. Sadly it was one of the last memories I have of him.

I remember being so impatient as a kid that i had no idea that entangled path ever straightened out, so i never knew how to beat it. I just kept running off the edge until the rapidly spinning path knocked me onto the green goal's platform. Good times.
i was exactly the same, so i ended up figuring out a strategy that rolled me off the edge, bounced me off the tangled path and into the green goal. Almost Fifteen years later and I've been doing it that way ever since

@@hashiispep the way i see it, or rather "hear" it jungle focuses on often sped-up and chopped breaks/drum loops, the relatively simple drum break beats of modern drum ‘n’ bass (generally a two-step beat) are less complex than the ‘chopped’ ‘Amen, Brother’ breakbeats of jungle.

It's been 20 years since I played this for the first time. Hearing it instantly takes me back to a time when I was 14.
So,
I first heard this track in a stick animation of a guy trying to get to a treasure chest. I then spent 9 YEARS trying to figure out where this track is from. There were 12 episodes total and 13 vgm soundtracks were used.
This one was the trickiest because it broke a pattern established by the other episodes, that all the background musics came from Super Smash Bros Brawl or any of the franchises represented in that game. This is the only one that wasn't.
4 were straight from SSBB
6 were from Sonic Advance 1 and 3
1 from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky
1 from Kirby Super Star Ultra
1 from Super Monkey Ball 2 (this)

So, I was just revisiting the ost of this game because of the recently announced remake and stumbled upon your comment. Not sure when but i remember raging at this world, coming back 4 years later, then easily beating it.
This is my favorite track out of every monkey ball game. This track is just so awesome (Also I'm a huge monkey ball fan)
