Not an autotune in sight. Nice to see a natural voice with all of its imperfections laid bare.
autotune is just a plug in. It doesn't make you have good voice. Its an effect like reverb or a phaser.
@@angelwingz5176 It is a plugin, but it absolutely makes you have a good voice. It shifts any wrong note sung to the place it should have been to make it in tune.
@@angelwingz5176 well it also makes everything sound synthetically accurate to the point you can tell its being used. Live tracks should sound live. Brett is fantastic, you just know this band is serious about their music
Suede and Manic Street Preachers are so great and so underrated...
I would not said that Suede were underrated, especially in the 90x
Love both bands. Incredibly talented.
Concordo. Sao as duas melhores bandas, sim senhor
Honest is the word. Leaving all the mistakes when they could have chosen not to. And on a lighter tone (never better said) I also appreciate Brett's showing his natural hair for once. I love everything.
He rocks the grey!
Amazing that Suede are still producing masterpieces even now. Brings tears to my eyes. Love you mum❤
Getting obsessed… and I fall in love with Brett again and again
Yeah. I find them better than Radiohead.
@@SelfHealingGod I find them better than 20 years ago. Brett looks better now than When he was 25!! ❤️
Obessions is like sex.
i fuckin love the imperfections. one of few band that stayed true to their sound, while being fresh. love suede!
Still the best band in Britain.
Correction, best in the universe!
that's right!
Stone Roses first !
@@eduardomota2429 can’t be the best if you only put out 1 classic album
Agree mate
Wonderful band ♥️
I knew from the first time I heard this it was about the loss of his mother by the lyrics but I love the song.I looked it up and it is. Gets me emotional still got my mum but lost dad 6 years ago would of been his birthday 22nd of August. Love going out to anyone who’s lost a loved one.
Aw man... Brett's vocal on this gets right down to my bones
I love this blistering performance. Why can't modern records sound like this? The imperfections and the straining are the actual powerful bits. Striving for dull inoffensive "perfection" has ruined modern recorded music.
0:58 Woaahh that's quite punk Neil 😂 I love him
When one is constantly exposed to the dirge that the music industry has polluted itself with in a bid to turn a profit, real music by real musicians like this can still take your breath away. Profound, powerful and as relevant as they have ever been!
The planet is crumbling on us, today's music sucks, I'm going bald but I still have Suede.
Know the feeling 👍
Big love to you brother. Hair is definitely overrated
The best performance by far at this year's Portsmouth Victorious Festival. Brett Anderson was ferociously good. Love Suede, love him - a fine example of a band becoming more immediate & vital with age....
Brett always give 100% no matter its in the studio concert whatever Love it!
What a tune! I'll admit that since Coming Up I've been totally oblivious to what Suede have been doing but wow! Got some catching up to do!
Simon’s drumming on this is aces
This version sounds powerful!!!! They are excellent musicians and the do not need artificial postproduction effects
25 years+ since I listened to my first Suede song "Satuarday night!" The one in my mind and always. Thanks for the good memory.
Forever Suede...You are in my heart ❤💎
They influenced me in my early 20’s so much. I like them so much !
I always knew what Next Life was about. Even before I knew it was about Brett's mum. The debut got me through my own loss of my mum too. This song means quite a lot. Thanks Suede.
From lamentation to elevation…
Brett Anderson is still a stellar talent.
*OUTSTANDING*
He still leads our hearts on doesnt he?
Here they come...the beautiful ones.
Tremendous vocal feat. I only heard 1 note go somewhat awry and he smashed all the falsetto. Brilliant as ever.
And this is what a live band is, kids! Few and far between. They don’t make’em like that anymore..
I lost my mother 11 years ago-would have been her birthday today 5/9. Goes straight to the heart like so much of Suedes work. Excellent effort boys!
this is a surprise, their new song is very fresh, I feel the same when they released the single Beautiful Ones in the 90's, it was very fun at that time until now I feel like I'm going back to being a teenager again now, when listening to their new single
Brett goes for it for sure Brutually honest so much passion and energy no one like him and Suede
Fucking love the tone of Brett’s voice here. Outstanding performance
Young forever
Band idola jaman mbiyen, lagu trash dulu sering di putar di MTV,sejak itu saya suka..
Thanks for coming back!!!ohhh
Long live suede!!!!
Just excellent... 👌 I can't believe all the time that passed to this days, and still being the same great and amazing band..... 👏👏👏👏👏
Everything Suede does, is amazing, love you guys forever!
Love the way you love?
This version is so powerful and emotional, just wow.
Love hearing this raw studio take! Can’t wait to hear it LIVE!!!
I’m happy to report that I heard Suede play this song live in Cambridge, 7th March 2023, and it was amazing!
LOVE ds band!!! fan from Philippines!!!
Went to see them last night in Liverpool, brilliant as usual.
The best band in the world
This is absolutely awesome.
Can’t wait to see them again in march 👌🏻
Thanks again, Suede. 😍 My mum would have loved this song. ❤️
Suede forever!🤘🤘🤘❤💛💚
Sing with passion, like your life depended on it. Brett does this. Rocky stuff and exquisitely beautiful ballads here. Loved the Blue Hour and now Autofiction. Stunning music from this band
What a song!!
Love from Brazil.
Long live Suede! I will see them live someday. Love every album. Terrific band!
I am of a similar age to the band, so I got caught up with the hype of the drowners, and then the sheer majesty of dog man star, the sadness of the break up, then the resurrection of the new line up.
Now that we have all grown up it's great to see them happy with themselves and still as talented as ever, I do wish they would maybe enter a studio with Bernard again just for nostalgia and to see what happens.
Suede have been the soundtrack for my life as we have grown up together.
Richard has made so much happen. His songwriting and majestic guitar playing is integral to Suede. Besides, he has been with them since 1994.
@@tomitob7364 I don't discount what Richard did, but I remember the release of the Drowners and seeing them at the Phoenix Festival and Reading as the hype built and then onto the release of Dog Man Star. It just seemed a shame the way it imploded, but both Suede and Bernard have been hugely successful without each other.
It's the same reasons that people would still like to see what would happen if Marr and Morrisey got back together.
I love Suede, I have since around 1992. For me this song was instant, an incredibly honest lyric which actually gave me a lump in my throat. What a band!
Terribly underrated band, sadly.
@@ecowman5224 Suede dreams, mate.
Yes!!!
Preordered everything!
It's so beautiful how Brett is so devoted to his mum...I love it! Brett is my dream guy 🥰
Cracks
It’s going to be an epic album. It really is
full of energy as always. nice to see Brett rock and rolling
friends, what a great moment for the band! Long live Suede!

Cracking. How to deal with grief
Damn they still got it!!🤘🏻
A beautiful group of human beings. Love you guys so much. Look forward to seeing you all soon 👍🙏💫…. #❤️Suede
Yes, you've got it. These five wonderful individual people form a tremendous constellation. It is a terrific musical unit.
Anyone noticed that 0:56 and 2:14 are the same clip when the guitarist flick off the piece of paper from the synth?
So weird.. good spot!
Simple, raw and real. Love it.
Wow may favorite band
I m very surprised , they still plays music ,,wow , I saw them for the first time in 30 years. great music !
wow as an old Suede fan that thought they were dead and gone as all other rock bands, so happy to hear they still can.
Congratulations after so many years still for being so great
A wonderful melancholy vein running through the whole glorious piece
Siempre con la misma energía que suede sabe hacer ..................... saludos de Perú ....
MY FAVOURITE BAND FOREVER!!!! ❤️❤️
Magnifique ❤
More than a decent job. They're still in the game 👏👏
I remember perfectly well when I bought their CD Coming Up in 1996, the excitement of opening it and listening to it at home from the first song to the last. That was the beginning of my love for them. When I later listened to their previous album Dog Man Star and later Sci-Fi Lullabies (the best double B-sides album ever!), I understood that they are really one of the best bands in the history of music. Caviar!
Aaaahhhhh amazing one and only Brett🥰. I lopove this new single, it's about his mom. So emotional. Suede❤
Awesome song
One of the Voice of the century still provide so many emotions, Suede one of my favorite bands and big part on the soundtrack of my life !
Mudah2an promotor even band di indonesia mengundang mereka untuk konser di Indonesia.... ❤️❤️❤️
INCREDIBLE control of voice! \m/
I'm so glad they made this song. I love it. Currently one of my favourite songs.
Incredible middle 8
Minute 2.14 The keyboardist throwing all the papers lol
Awesome as always!
Beautiful! love from nz
Simply amazing! Thank you for posting this!
Fantastic stuff. I'd like to sing the praises of the not often mentioned excellent rhythm section Matt Osman on bass and Simon Gilbert on drums. This performance demonstrates how much they drive the band. Totally understated and very powerful at the same time. Bass player Matt has always been a very enjoyable aspect of all their music. Such an economic and melodic player. Looking forward to the new album.
OOOH am a massive fan, seeing them this weekend and cannot wait!
Wow! 🎶💯🔥
Love the sound on this!
I love suede my love is suede
This truly is an amazing song. I absolutely love it
I know this band since 1992. Still love them. Definitely.
Amazing as always.
Touché… Hands down 💪🏻
Thanks Suede🖤
Show me the weak musician in Suede! Not possible. Five absolute masters of their craft.
Raw and melodic. Can't wait to hear the album x
