@Morning Star you can either get hearts from seasonal questgivers (either from current seasons, which will give you free hearts when you complete the quests, or past seasons, where one heart = 3 candles) or do a gift exchange with your sky friends!! you could also "cheat" around this by making alt accounts to gift yourself hearts from there !
For me it's a battle between convenience vs just looking nice I've never been interested in the chibi mask but ever since I heard of the glitches, it made my runs much easier I'm gonna go team Chibi mask first and black mask (I have both btw so this is just me rambling about preference XD)
Chibi face would probably be better to get since you can do glitches (very useful for eden) but if you aren’t interested in that and you like the no mask look better then ye
Don't worry you can get it I got it but you may need to save up to 20 hearts so you may have missed the double. Heart event that is on Valentine's soo don't spend hearts and yep now you. Have and when you sit on a bench when wearing chibi only you will. Say aww when you see you blink it is soo adorable 😍
If you do candle run for Isle (Yes there are a good amount of candles in isle), prairie, forest, valley of triumph, and the first few flowers in wasteland (I said “first few” because let’s face it, you won’t be wanting to complete wasteland again anytime soon unless you need like 60 hearts) then you should have an average of 15-21 hearts per day based on how you do it (Going through every nook and cranny or just taking a normal run through) I think if you save up for 2 weeks or a month you might get 60-100 on average

@@Orchidlettux for some reason, chibi does swim faster. Run and flying gave same speed, but swimming has different speed. The taller you are, the slower you swim. Also chibi most likely swam on most water while tall skykid sometimes walk on water where chibi swim. Walking in waist high water is slower than swimming chibi
I didn’t realise you had to buy the black one- I started playing after a while and I just had it already, guess I don’t remember buying it 🤷♀️ but recently got the chibi mask so now I have both 😁
For me I’d choose the chibi mask first because then you can do the chibi fall and there are other variations of the black mask that you can get from travelling spirits which (I think) are cheaper, but either way they are both always available to get in the game so it doesn’t really matter

The chibi mask is the best choice I’d say, I haven’t removed it since playing sky as a moth and getting it as one of my first cosmetics. Not only is it cute, but it’s practical and helps me run faster, oh and you can do chibi fall as well!
weird fact: the sky children are actually blind the black mask shows that the eyes are closed and when you get near walls it shows your player touching it and its a sign to feel where they are going because they cant see but ive seen people say that when you wear normal masks it shows their eyes are opened but i think that its just a glow spell thingy for them to see
That's not necessarily true tho. When you use masks the eyes are glowing while yes it could be the mask but when you lay down completely their eyes close and you can't see the glow anymore It's safe to say they're not actually blind. Also it feels pretty dangerous to be to fly while blind also dangerous to go around golden wasteland and Eden while blind. So I don't think the sky kids are actually blind
Did the trials yesterday with chibi mask not knowing until now the mask actually makes things much harder vs being normal size. As I was going through trials I was struggling sooooooooo bad and died a thousand times whereas before I've done the trials many times in the past being taller and would breeze right through things no problem.
