Sharon, I am older than dirt and have been crafting for at least that long, and I have never seen this hack. My jaw dropped and I can't wait to leave work and experiment tonight! THANK YOU!
Thank you so much for this way to cut 6x6 papers for a 5x7 card..... This is my card size by choice.... love it.... Thank you so much Sharon...... love all your hacks....
This is so great Sharon! Never saw a cutting plan for 6x6 papers. I have way too many pads that I stopped using when I stopped making 5x5 and 6x6 cards after the postage went up soooo much! Now I can go back and use up some of this paper that has just been sitting around and gathering dust ;- ) Bless you!
Fabulous video as always. You are an ingenious brainiac of a card maker. Thank you so much for your support of Scrappy Tails Crafts. We love all of your projects! ❤❤
I love 5x7 cards….pretty much all I make😉 I’m always happy to hear of other card makers doing them too. we’re finally getting companies making Dies for this larger size card! Thank you for watching and commenting💕💕💕
It’s hard to find die cuts for 5x7 cards, I always make A6 and A7 or larger cards. No one buys retail A2 birthday cards. So I am glad Scrappy Tails is making 5x7 dies and stamps. I love your 6x6 card pads idea. You always have the best ideas. Thanks
I absolutely agree Sandy! I think the 5x7 thing is gonna finally catch on🎉🎉 Thank the heavens for Scrappy Tails. Sabrina makes everything bigger💕💕💕 Did you see my hack video that shows how to cut 4 5x7 panels perfectly from one 12x12 paper?
Thank you for this video. I prefer making 5x7 cards for my family and friends. Using 6x6 pads opens up a lot of options. I look forward to your 6x6 turn into 5x7 video. Thank you again, Sharon. Great job😊
Sharon, I have tried this technique and it never worked. Until I ran across your video today. Thank you so much for finally showing me how this is done. I have hit like and subscribed.
What a game changer, Great video. You teach well. One to save, one to watch over until I just get it( takes a while😊) subscribed liked . Thank you xx🦋🦋
Great video! Thanks so much for slowing it down in some of the “trickier” places, helps me a lot to understand what you’re doing. I love when you share your tricks with us❤️
I have paper I’ve been hoarding because I didn’t want to chop it up and be unhappy with it but this is perfect. I’m glad I came across your video, thank you.
Usually I am, but this year is to hectic so I have not made any Christmas yet. Love that the deer comes without the folk art detail too. & may have to revisit that collection. I did not get any of it as I am not a folk art person
Thanks! I always make 5x7 cards and have too many 6x6 pads sitting on the shelf. Trying this hack for sure. I wish they’d start making background dies for 5x7 too.
oh my friend you are in luck…Scrappy Tails has a number of 5x7 background dies available (link in my more box). Her dies are all on the larger size too. She is a newer company that embraces the 5x7 movement and you can email her or comment on the shops Facebook page to let her know what you want to see her make for us. I will also add to my list for future videos…how to use small background dies on 5x7 cards😉🤗💕💕💕
Hi Sharon, I love your hack for this 5x7 cards! I made the same cuts yesterday on two of my cards but only had one on the outside and one half on inside! I thought it looked just fine! I’d rather be doing 5x7 cards thank you for your Jack!
What a great technique! I also liked the technique with the purple frame around the circle. Please do make a video about the racing stripes, sounds fun.
This is brilliant! Thank you. I'm desperately searching for the video on making the sticky metallic strips. I got a xyron refill at a thrift store and want to make some so badly. I use little strps a lot but the gluing gets a little tedious.
Love, love, love this idea!!! Interesting to hear everyone making 5x7 cards. What size card stock are you using? The idea of making A2 cards for me was to get 2 cards from one sheet CS. Am I missing something??? P.S. I’m subscribing….so happy I found you!
I’m so happy you found me too🤗🤗 in my very early card making days I made note card size to save money too…than my card was made fun of at a family event. So it’s been 5x7 ever since for me! it actually costs me less because I use only white card bases and I get 2 5x7 panels PLUS strips from cutting my coloured cardstock…so no more cutting strips off my card bases because I need a piece😉 plus did you know I have a hack video for cutting 4 perfect 5x7 panels from a 12x12 sheet??
Your card is great. I love the "racing stripes." How did you make them? I ordered some from Love From Lizi but it takes a long time for them to come in. I'd prefer to make my own, but don't know how to do that where they look perfect like yours.
