    I needed to stretch after yesterday's live class. I woke up with sore muscles because I have been on vacation and not practicing much yoga. I combined these stretches with Amber's beginning flow practice and now I feel much better. I would like a longer yin class with more hip stretches but this practice was very beneficial to these old muscles and joints. Thanks, Tim!

    I did rather enjoy the slower pace. I often feel a bit rushed when I'm doing yoga or stretching routines - where it takes me a minute to settle in and by the time I do, we're moving on. So thanks for taking it down a notch.

    You said to hold the reclined butterfly at the end. I’m wondering if we can improve from trying to sleep in butterfly, frog splits or any stretch at night for as long as it’s tolerable. Is it possible to sleep stretch toward flexibility?

    • @yogawithtim
      @yogawithtim  2 года назад +1

      Hey Aruna, I used to wonder that too! But I don’t think that’s a great idea, too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. While having tapas to progress mindfully is commendable, rushing and forcing flexibility overnight is just another ego manifestation. You’re on the right track, stay patient and stick with it. So I’m not a big fan of ending the videos like this. I’d rather you give us 3-5minutes to lie there with you and the class and say that we can hang out there or just leave when we want. When you end it with leaving it up to us, I feel like that’s distracting. I have to reach for the remote to stop the video so it doesn’t autoplay the next RUclips video…which takes me out of that zen state I was in and it’s hard for me to get it back.
