Hey Valorance, I would like a video on how to edit an existing pcb. Something like adding an extra key to an existing board or move the keys to different positions. I think, when creating a custom keyboard, most people want some thing that already exist but slightly modified. I remember when I got my first keyboard I had to settle for the bm60ec because it was the only one with an encoder but I would had preferred another keyboard and replace a key for an encoder.
@@val0rance nothing in particular but I'm surprised how empty the tutorials for firmware new pcbs are. I've designed quite a few pcbs but give up when it comes to firmware because even the guides suck. Just a straightforward step by step process of A to B is all I need
@@val0rance good to know, is there a way I can edit the columns? When I paste in my kle data the columns are a bit different than what's on my kicad design
@@RennanMendesSerenzaRennan Woops, I missed this, sorry. I didn't show the schematic in the video, woops again, but the RGBIN and LEDPWM connects to the PB6 and PB5 respectively (on the ATmega32U4).

Thank you for the shoutout! This video is a great overview and introduction to keyboard design. Looking forward to your future content :)
Love the tetris vid in the youtube recommended 0:15. Very nice video!
Thank you so much dude or making this keyboard i've been struggling to make a creation for a while thank you.
Amazing video, and i'll deff go through all this for my own keyboard, keypads and special builds for a fight stick even! if possible.
I prefer to use SolidEdge (so far a lot to learn still)over FreeCAD because FreeCAD is kinda rough around the edges from what I have seen.
Cool! I need F1-F24.
I need a tutorial on how to do a keyboard pcb hotswap style from keyboard layot editor yto kicad to real life
@noahkiser has some good tutorials for that. Sorry for not being directly able to make a video, it's not something I feel qualified enough to do yet.
I wish you went over making the firmware, I know you probably reused the existing firmware for this pcb but still

Nice vid
How are RGB LEDs connected to a printed circuit board?
They are soldered on during fabrication.
@@val0ranceThanks for the response, I expressed wrong, how the circuit works on the pcb. how it is connected to the MCU.

what polling rate do they offer?
@@val0rance thanks! :)
