As a kid I ate rather okay, not too healthy but not unhealthy either. My early teenage years were a disaster, I ate 2 bags of potato chips AND a bowl of popcorn. I've changed my diet quite a lot, I gave up my chips and a lot of other sugary snacks for more healthier options, and honestly, I'm surprised I turned out okay despite that poor diet I had.
Oh, yeah that is pretty unhealthy. Making just two bags of potato chips and one bowl of popcorn last through your entire early teenage years must have been a real challenge. (I know what you really meant but could not help myself imagining the timescale)
My cousin used to have like Mcd's, ramen noodles, prepacked foods as most of his diet. He grew up eating this and wouldn't eat anything unless he had one of these foods. His parents tried to correct this but it was too little too late. He ended up getting type 1 at 16 years old. Honestly was terrifying for me
My parents allowed an obsession with peanut butter to develop, unfortunately. Wasn't until I started biking and lost weight that my health recovered but even 15 years later I gotta have PB in my diet so I just changed the types. Switching from powder, fat free, sugar free, raw homemade, or even in sauce to balance out the effects and maximize the nutrients.

I used chewing gum to lose weight once in a while. Turns out I just want to chew for my sensory needs. Sweet chewing gum is good. Lot less calories than the boredom eating I used to do. It's not always healthy though some people with eating disorders use it to trick their brain into not being hungry.

And not like “oh I don’t want this” refusal, and more “I will literally starve myself before eating that sandwich” refusal. My mom only gave into it after I became underweight because of it. I’m definitely not healthy at 17 but I’m trying to better my diet.
As a kid, my parents did a pretty good job at keeping me healthy. Junk food was considered a treat from time to time. During my teen years, I decided to cut back eating sweets and snack food. Now a young adult, I've noticed that I've been eating healthier food but occasionally going for a sweet. During this year, I got back into exercising and I've seen some improvements.

i grew up mainly on pasta and cheese and was rather overweight but now i eat meat and pasta and somehow have managed to get somewhat healthy but i definitely felt the effects of being obese for a while
I started eating correctly and exercising at the end of november, until now lost about 4kg and probably grew some muscle from swimming and fast walking in total 3 times a week (Takes a total of 4-4.5 hours each week). And instead of sandwiches at work I am having a huge salad that lasts for the entire day, containing 3 cucumbers, 2 tomatoes, about 50g of corn, and small pieces of red pepper (around 20-30 grams) then I have a banana and an apple to back it up. At the evening I am having a big meat meal with some carbs and my body basically gets all it needs during the day. I do however allow myself to have a take out (pizza \ fast food, etc) once a week and it barely damages my routine, still losing weight, still building muscle. Been doing it for almost 2 months now and I won't stop until I lose like 20kg of what I gained during covid. Will probably take another year or so. Do yourselves a favor and start today, you will thank yourself later, I already feel lighter and some people noticed I lost weight.

you can reset your gut biome and get your health back with the 5 R protocol you can be healed but conventional doctors and big pharma dont want you to know that its bad for buisness to cure customers they wont come back. go to a functional/holistic doctor and ask about the 5R protocol
I grew up on mac n cheese, ramen and ham and cheese sandwiches because we didn’t have much money growing up, most nutritional thing I ate was ham, so of course i’m short
Same here bro breakfast I'd have a bowl of cereal in school id have a sandwich and some crisps then when i got back from school it was ramen then dinner time id have chicken and rice if i was lucky
I had an appendectomy due to my appendix being plugged with an undigested green bean (the actual "bean" part inside). In other words, due to eating healthful food.
I have a very bad habit of comfort eating.. and I don't eat healthy. I should start eating more healthy while I have time and workout - it's just a bit hard to start eating healthy, since I am very very picky and most of the healthy foods are gross to me. No-sugar-added peanut butter is not great, but would be an improvement.
This made both me and my brain frown
you can reset your gut biome and get your health back with the 5 R protocol you can be healed but conventional doctors and big pharma dont want you to know that its bad for buisness to cure customers they wont come back. go to a functional/holistic doctor and ask about the 5R protocol

Yea probably not the best food but even with the little money we had there was at least a meal on the table and we never starved.
I grew up on mac n cheese, ramen and ham and cheese sandwiches because we didn’t have much money growing up, most nutritional thing I ate was ham, so of course i’m short

As how healthy I actually am, I am recovering from acute appendicitis so that should give you an idea 😺
I had an appendectomy due to my appendix being plugged with an undigested green bean (the actual "bean" part inside). In other words, due to eating healthful food.
@@jmodified oh no!! 😂 I'm sorry for laughing but that is really unfortunate! The human body is really something. 😅
@@bruh-xx6kr It was kind of relief to have it out. Now when I have a left-lower-quadrant gut cramp, I don't need to think "Is it my appendix?"
I cannot quit to fries, chips, or gummies, but I eat more healthy foods, and i'm ok with that ✅
I have a very bad habit of comfort eating.. and I don't eat healthy. I should start eating more healthy while I have time and workout - it's just a bit hard to start eating healthy, since I am very very picky and most of the healthy foods are gross to me. Either by smell/taste or texture. So yaaaaay for being super picky... it's a joke inside my friend groups that I don't eat almost anything.
PERFECT CHANNEL FOR MILLENNIALS, SOMETHING FOR THEIR MINDS.

Fish, more fish.
Pasta is my weakness. And cheese. Lasagna for the win!
My favorite food to eat is yogurt, and my favorite drink is milk.
