Yes it would work for that. You can find them online, just be sure to bless it or smudge it before you use it and let it charge, like sit in direct sunlight. You can use pendulums in a similar way to Ouija boards, but the Ouija boards are more "dangerous" or "evil" because they attract things. The biggest risk is that you could attract something harmful that then sticks to you. But it depends on how you use it. I wouldn't use one alone in any scenario.
