  • Ludwig van Beethoven - Symphony No. 2 in D major, op. 36
Symphony No. 2 was written at the end of Beethoven's early period, mainly during the composer's stay in Heilbad Heiligenstadt. At that time, the composer was already aware of his irreversibly deteriorating hearing. Despite the fact that the symphony is one of his most joyful works, there are already dramatic musical fragments characteristic of Beethoven, especially in the later years of his work.
The concert was recorded on November 27, 2020 in the concert hall of the Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz.
