This just happened to my series x. I turned on the console and sat on the Xbox logo for about 4 mins my screen went grey and It currently says “Please try again. For some reason home has taken too long to start” every time I restart this is what happens I’m stuck in sort of like a boot loop. Any suggestions

The problem with this tutorial is I don't even get to the menu. I get there was a problem loading the home screen. Then I have no options but to turn it off and back on.

Did all the useless tech support "solutions" and it did, surprisingly FUCK ALL!. Its a fault with the servers, not our xbox's. Trying to start up dev mode today and its not working. I can't wait until its back up and running, because when it does, one of my Series S' will be permanently offline.

I did find easy fix tho... Simple as uninstall gta5, then wait about 5mins, then re-install ... Fixed mine... Only took about 4hrs to do so tho...

I found out thru some rigorous and in-depth researching the problem rooted from corrupted data... Data can be corrupted by many means I found out I had a run-in with a modded account player who attempted to use a virus against me in summary Rockstar needs to just ban mod accounts and Xbox needs to enforce it
