    So how do you legally by dot standards accept unassigned driving time when you drove to maintenence shop on the clock, clocked out when you dropped off truck, then when you go back to pick it up and clock in to leave you have unassigned driving time because the shop test drove truck after completing repairs. You only have 2 choices, on duty or pc. I always claim it as pc because I can prove through dated receipt that truck was at the shop. Why don't we have the ability to claim as shop testing truck

      It that situation the time shouldn’t be assigned to the driver. The carrier should just annotate it on the unassigned report as a shop move.
