Trains at Church Fenton - 30/06/2020

For a revisit to this station which haven't visited since 2017, this is Church Fenton (Season 7 Episode 9)
Note: Since the ease on some restrictions on the current lockdown, it was advised and best to stay away from staffed stations such as York, Leeds, Bristol Temple Meads etc. This is perfectly safe to film trains from unstaffed stations as long as going equiped: Hand sanatiser/cream, paracetamol tablets, fluids and something to eat. Haven driven to this station, it is a requirement for all to wear a face covering with the exemptions of those who has a disability or those with breathing difficulties.
Church Fenton, situlated as a main junction station with trains diverting for Sherburn and Selby with diverted line services to Doncaster and the mainline linking for the frequent running of York to Leeds services.
Mixed variety was seen at Church Fenton with a either passenger or freight workings as well which can be popular. This is a enthusiasts favourite station as there is a lot of action happening.
During an hours stint, this was the variety that was seen.

Thanks very much. Church Fenton is an epic place to go to for all sorts of variety. Also, its a great spot to go to for ECML diverts.

Thank you. At the moment, only concentrating on unstaffed stations. Sherburn In Elmet see's only hourly services at the moment so it's not point going there until full timetable is back.

How does one get from Church Fenton to Leeds?

There is only 5 trains in the evening for Leeds. I would suggest catching train to York and changing for Leeds.
But remember, essential travel only and don't take any risks.
