It's cost him his job (place in Chicago) though so provided he doesn't have an ego maybe that will be the straw. I could see him being successful with Tomlin but I'm a Michigan fan so I honestly don't care.

Players are never taught to tackle that way, the ones who choose to do it, KNOW what they are doing. NFL was 3 years behind in finally making a serious penalty/fine/suspension. One hipdrop tackle can cripple player for one season or more or worse. Why rugby outlawed it quite awhile ago (thanks to internet some American football players learned this dirtbag technique from - highly unlikely from coaches)
