The best / good ending in Hidden Agenda is achieved when The Trapper is caught, and you get substantial evidence on him (the hidden camera in the cabin and following Simon in his house). There are many ways you can do this, but the main way is to get enough evidence on Simon so that Felicity can break into his house and get the 3 clues in the basement to confirm it's Simon.
More evidence on him can be gathered by making sure Daniella survives the prologue and you get Finn to trust you enough for him to tell you that Daniella was in on the hostage situation. She'll tell your partner Tom at the end then that Adam Jones (The Trapper) is a "Police Doctor" - Simon.

XDawn the creators were working on 3 other bigger more valuable projects at the time. This game was put on the back burner and rushed near the end

if this is the "perfect ending" does that mean that it's impossible to catch the blonde hooker who was helping Adam out? cause I've seen that even if you choose not to drink the drink and you escape her attempt to knock you out in your car, she still gets away. Unless I missed something in the story or the ending?

Attitude unnecessary. I was just stating my observation. If you are alluding to the difficulty of making a game, i know it is. Point is if they are making a game and are competing with other games for which can give it's customers satisfaction on realism, they needed to make sure they worked out the bugs. People bought their games and would like to think the makers took the time to make it as best as they could. So regardless of what type of crude comment you wanted to make; they are making a game and getting paid, they should do it well.

The heartbeats of the judge took a seconds off the bomb. So the trapper set the detective up to make it look like shes the trapper

After that you could basically scratch everything up to "Fruit of the poisonous tree".... He'd probably go free....
Not necessarily without a search warrant, but any evidence obtained illegally cannot be used against a suspect in court.

That's what I was thinking too, but technically no evidence was taken from the house, though I suppose they might thrown it out from tampering since she touched stuff with ungloved hands. That's why I was thinking it was really stupid of them to go do that.
Rin Gou There’s a Balance between Mapp v. Ohio and the later Good Faith Doctrine (from another case), so it probably would be determined in court. Knowing Judge Vanstone, Simon probably caught 25 to Life if not the death penalty.
Regardless, Simon assaulted Tom and resisted arrest so I doubt there is any way in hell he got away with what he did.
Hi Slim, do you think Judge Vanstone would need to recuse himself from the case, given that he had a bomb implanted in his stomach by Simon and all.

Until Dawn and this game are just different. Until Dawn was supposed to be like those corny late 90s/early 200s horror movies with teens trying to survive a killer. While this is simply a party game you're supposed to play with friends and solve a mystery. Same game company, but two different reasons for the game being made.
I feel if they gave you the option of either mobile or controller instead of just mobile it would have been better it lags so much and you miss quick timed events due to it

I love how you break Into his house to gather evidence that won't be able to be use In a court of law also on top of that the attack of the main characters partner is easily justify because he was illegally inside Simons house, this "good" ending isn't good in my opinion for the main fact that the killer will walk free. I do like the idea of this game though it definitely needed to be worked on more before it's release because of all the bugs and awful voice acting as well as the script being awful as well.
The heartbeat monitor knocks off another second so take off the monitor and it won't read the beat so it will B defused

it seems like the really pivotal points are getting Finn to trust you, and collecting appropriate evidence. i'm assuming that him not trusting you is what sends him back to Adam, and gets Felicity caught, and I don't even know what you'd do if you didn't have evidence linking to Simon.

You need to link up the old case files and get two of the cases to be related to hookers, then you gotta check his hoodie when you go to his house

i played this game, and i think they were referring to way back in the middle of the game when you come over to talk to him about the case. he acts all nervous and drops a mug and walks away to grab something to clean it. it gives you the options to either wait in the kitchen for him or to follow him.
when you follow him, you can clearly see the hoodie and the pants that were worn by the person who followed Becky to the old orphanage, and that's when she realizes to suspect him.

Did anyone catch the Trapper the first time around? My gf and I “beat” the game in less than two hours I think and we got that ending. Didn’t expect that at all. It seems like most folks weren’t getting that ending the first go around. Either way I thought it was fun

I came from Jack's playthrough, I find it really lame from the developers. The VERY first choice in the game is if you want to save your partner or hostage. If you choose the hostage you have a 100% failure chance. No matter what Jack did. From the first choice he made. He had no chance. Because you think Carl will help you out when Simon says at the end "She's crazy she tried to kill me!" Carl was the first one to suspect Becky. Carl will believe Simon. (Don't know if you can even get to Simons house without Tom but just stating every possibility)

I honestly can't tell if I got a good ending or not. I caught Simon in his basement, but shot him when he tried to escape.
I couldn't tell if the reporter was saying good things about Becky. Also, Riggs said it's been tough around the precinct lately (or something along those lines), but Tom and Felicity had good things to say about me during the interview.

You need to leave the bar and fight off the bitch in the backseat. No kidnapp at all. Must be the best ending.
The Judge still gets kidnapped though, as that happens prior to the bar scene. So I did that way to rescue him

5 min before I watched this video, I just finished the game without judge Vanstone getting kidnapped at all.
I was surprised bc after playing 6 times, I thought the judge gets kidnapped in every possible scenerio but apparently not.
I never ended up at the hotel. I fought the hooker off in the backseat and she jumped out got into her own car and I gave chase.
I forgot and my nephew just reminded me of the ending of part 2 when the hooker is sowing the timer into the judges belly. However that scene never played out and the ending of the game never mentioned Judge Vanstone getting kidnapped.
Apparently that is what you were telling me about the sowing the timer scene before the bar scene lol.
There are a ton of different ways the story can play out. I need 6 more trophies to complete all storylines before I even start getting the competitive trophies.
