Beautiful repair job. First Class.
Those with no knowledge of how to repair such damage will decry it and state how unsafe it is, but this is a perfect demonstration of how to repair a very badly damaged car and leave it perfectly roadworthy. However, the economics of the repair are difficult to justify, a combination of the labour involved (I am sure Arthur has spent over 60 hours on this) plus of course the labour of painting and reassembling which has yet to be done, and of course, the extortionate cost of the BMW parts which have to be bought. In addition to the bodywork there will be the air conditioning and coolant radiators, a complete dashboard, windscreen, airbags etc, etc, etc.
Nice to watch his brilliant work on the panels with 2 or more various hammers, persuading the metal to revert to it's original shape whilst under tension.

To put it another way, if this wreck got fixed, how much more wrecked were the donor cars where he got the parts from?

Трудная работа, нужно очень много сил, и нервов. Даже если учитывать что работа стоит не дешево, это то за что стоит заплатить. После такого ремонта, хотя бы есть уверенность что машина не "тяп-ляп", а максимум того что можно сделать. Спасибо что делаете видео, интересно. Но если честно то желания работать с машинами больше нет, я представляю сколько времени и сил нужно. ;)

самое удивительное что,это то что нет ржавчины на кузовах автомобилей,это точно не россия,а замена лонжерона это не хлам,да тем более не распил,весь металл с доноров по заводским точкам сваривается обратно и получается как с завода вполне надежно и крепко

How is this cost effective over just replacing the car? Arthur is an automotive genius. I would trust him with any vehicle I own, but the cost of this process in no way (in the USA at least) would ever be economical over paying out the value of the car. This channel and Arthur's work is memorizing. I would love any insight to how much these repairs cost at the time the video is made.

That car has taken a hell of a belt . They’re so plentiful I don’t see the point in repairing one as badly hit as this one . By the time you factor in the hassle I’m sure you could buy a 320d high miler almost as cheap .

I like this movie. I was impacted by the skill by Arthur, especially fixing a car which damaged like this. But I was thinking this car is already non-valuable to fix since it not only having damage at the first but right rear also. the passenger room also invaded. I m not judging or question about the quality or safety after the fix, I m interested what motivated the owner to fix a car like this since this seen may cast a huge price.

При желании можно сделать так, что и Шелков упрется в тупик. Другой вопрос что игра не стоит свеч: слишком много времени и сил, слишком мало смысла. Основное - это качественный ремонт
