The new sync function on Sampler was something I was asking in forums for a very looooong time. In the SP6 didn't had any logical function, as we always change the BPM when playing
now i get it ,i could find this useful for doing some remixing.Thats a useful video ta very much

Hi, thanks for this video, very good explanation. I have one question - at 08.36 you load a song to the left deck to demonstrate how a sample can be in sync with the actual song playing. I noticed that you pressed sync on both (song loaded and sampler). I do not usually use the sync option with the songs I am playing, however I would like to have the sample in sync with the song I am playing, would that work by pressing sync only on the sampler or I need them both to be in sync mode ?

Question: are you able to load a full track into one of the slots and just play a selected loop? If so how do you turn the loop on and off, and change the bar length? Great vid BTW!

I use to always hold the shift button to then press the sampler points to delete them but it’s not working now all of a sudden. Now I have to manually go to the screen and press the eject button on my MacBook. Does anyone now how to fix this issue. Somebody please help me with this.

My sampler sounds won't work unless the cross fader is on the left side. Is anyone else having this problem?
Your sampler output is set to channel "1"; or "3" in case of a quad deck (assuming 1&3 are assigned to crossfader left), you should set it to master (M) on the right side of the sampler panel.

Bro is there a way I can change the name or title to a sample? I don’t want to change the name of the track but just the sample I put into the sampler from that track.. like if I took the thriller laugh from the track thriller and start the sample at say cue#2 can I name that in the sampler say T laugh?

I bought a ddj 1000 srt last month. It is not functioning fully as per all the demo videos I see on RUclips. It is tiring and frustrating. The DJs in the videos are giving super demos just to sell the product but those things don't work in my 1000 srt controller. I am using Windows 10 and is it compatible with serato?
My problems are:
Pads are not functioning as they should be - the roll pad, sampler pad, hot cue pad.
When I sometimes press shift and sampler it memorizes the tracks and when I use the sampler after for the other tracks it plays the previous tracks and mixes up with the current track. It I don't see from where it plays the previous songs interfering with the current one. It is a real mess. so the sampler is 1st and foremost a big mess.
I don't succeed to increase the bpm or the speed of the track more than its original bpm or decrease to very much below as done in pioneer dj 200 by pressing the shift and the tempo button.

I have to press a little hard the platter to get a scratch sound. Press hard and rotate the platter to forward reverse the track.
The important thing is how to make or what must be done to make the pads function fully as I see in demo videos?

"Drums and percussion" lol Drums ARE percussion. But I understand why he classified it like that considering how in drum sample packs they have dedicated folders name percussion to separate everything else not included with hihats/snares/cymbals/kicks etc.
so this is using the Serato 1.9.6 Beta? i was going to install it last Saturday but didn't want to risk it before a gig that night. Is this Beta version stable?
