Dealing with high alkalinity in a pool is a real pain. The pH is hard to balance, and you constantly add muriatic acid. I go over some easy ways to lower a pool’s alkalinity effectively.

i will try it remember all of this... Another Great Video.. i am at 110 ppm Alkalinity now. or at 100 ppm now. it moves around. got it under control .. 15K pool. the only real problem is the conditioner level 140 ppm now. i did a 12'' drain out lost i think 10ppm was at 150ppm... i misread the gage thought it was at 50 and pulled out the floating tabs, then i saw those videos how to correctly read the tube container that looks like a 7'' plastic pipe with the little black dot, by pulling up and down 10 times and wait 2 mins and read it. i was reading it very wrong and now paying for not knowing how to read it correctly, floater tab can be very bad thing to do... live and learn DAVID...
