I remember when this happened and I was watching this with a few other people and I noticed the drummer didn’t have any sticks and we all was laughing so hard about it then later found out why and my love for Alan Jackson skyrocketed. I’m still a huge fan today

I think he is a wonderful man but not just a wonderful man but one of the best country singers just like the old country singers with their traditions and that is to give the fans what they came for. What he did with his drummer not having his drumsticks is one of the greatest moments I can ever remember in country music. The other one is when he went in singing George Jones song" Choices". A laugh out of me? No, just one big shout out to Mr Jackson. If you protest the CMA awards, I don't care. They need to allow real singers like you, Justin Moore, Jason Aldean and Tim McGraw win and all the real Legends. Not the ones who can convert the country music to straight-out pop. Sam Hunt, Dan and Shay and any artist who wants to make fake country songs and country fakes that can start out making fun of country music. 1883 was a good start for Sam Elliott, but when I saw the commercial of Mr Elliott dancing to old dirty road by rap artists and Billy Ray Cyrus, I thought, "the producer who made this video was a real bone head." I think Cody Johnson was right calling out the artists who made that song. Cody Johnson and you Alan Jackson was right to call them out. If country fans want to blame CMA awards, fine by me, but some country fans are starting to turn into shams for calling themselves country fans. Because a country song sounds GOOD, GOOD don't mean nothing. Real country matters. Country is a fiddle against a dj. Country is a banjo against a recorder and country is most certainly singing voices, sometimes deep and southern voices, but mostly regular singing is country. Country ain't nobody talking and sometimes singing fast. Justin Moore also deserves more recognition. One CMA gets him recognition and Jason Aldean may have won more awards than him, but it's possible that if they worked together on one or more songs, the CMA cred would go to both artists. You Mr Jackson I believe have performed with Justin Moore. Here's to the country Legends and not the ones turning a six string guitar into a dj.
I met Allen Jackson on his boat dock 1998 he is really great guy I was drinking bud light he was drinking Coors light I was out in the sun to long I was really red burnt might say he said your going to be sick I said yes I'm starting to feel it lol and he was right I was sick rest of the day and night but I promise I had shirt on next day. Stick it to em Alan!!!!!! I quit listening to mainstream as well as quit watching awards shows because it's not country anymore. They let people perform and win awards that have nothing to do with country music. Real country comes from the heart and gut and reflects real life. That's not the case anymore. COUNTRY RADIO IS OFFICIALLY DEAD!!!!!! I'll stick to listening to real country music on Spotify.
