Canoe, float, camp, fish, swim and vacation on Missouri's famous Current River. and Jacks Fork River. Secluded cabins in wooded setting near the river.
The Current River is a great float but avoid Akers Ferry 2 of the worst float experiences I have ever had were with this outfitter. Left us in the parking lot for 3 hours, they couldn't seem to find a bus to take us up river and would not refund my money this happened twice although the 2nd time we waited 2 hours.
Funny we had this same issue with them being ridiculous! We won't be returning to Akers Ferry rental or Jason's Place campground. Instead we will be visiting Jadwin Canoe Rental and camping...
@analyzingfunny And by the way, when I was in Eminence, I rented a canoe from Harveys, the weld was broke, and would not stay upright. He would not give me a refund on the canoe. I do not recommend Harveys or patronizing them in any way.
out of all the floats and camping spots I've been... Jason's place and akers float is the best ever!

Harvey’s seemed very high priced as compared to Wendy’s
Jadwin is much better.
