We will have to do this on our way to the Buffalo River. 😁
I hope that River stays like that for you I'm from Florida and the rivers around me are inundated with tourists and new people that have moved here they've ruined everything
The locals here hate tourists and run them off every chance they get. It's bittersweet
that river with clear water and blue tint, your blessed! what a river to get in.
You got that right! Thanks for watching!
Copperheads are such beautiful and rather docile animals when not provoked. What an awesome encounter!
Thanks! It was really cool to see. Not a fan of snakes .. when I can't see them haha
Absolutely beautiful! Phenomenal camera work! It was like being there. I love how you captured so much of the authentic experience
thank you for the support!
The copperheads I’ve run into have been territorial and aggressive. And let’s not forget poisonous lol
this guy didn't seem to be bothered by us
I remember seeing that cave in the 90s when we all went floating on a tube.
I always try to imagine what it would be like if you were the first person to discover something like this. I bet even in the 90s it looked a bit different
Great vid, beautiful scenery. We're doing this float in a little less than a month, can't wait, I hear great things about it. Was Cave Spring easy to miss? I've heard people have missed it. People have been talking about a tree or log the last 30-40 minutes of the float that has been flipping people occasionally. I wonder if that's the spot where you said a guy bent his canoe up.
Thanks for watching! I don't think you can miss it. its a huge opening on the left side of the river. The cave sets back a little bit so you dont see it until you are 100 yards upstream from it. even if you happen to paddle past it.. it wouldnt be hard to back track. the current right there isnt super strong.
That was a great video, I just moved to southern mo, where are the entrance and exit points on this?
Thank you for watching! The put-in is called Akers Ferry and the take-out is called Pulltite. Beautiful stretch of river. If your looking for a river outfitter Akers Ferry Canoe Rental has been decent.
There's an underground lake in that huge hill
Great video! What time of year was this?
This was mid June. Also a great late summer float since it is spring fed
Which one is your dad? You mentioned he was on another kayak.
He's on the green kayak
@@colby_rogers well he is buff as heck! Makes me, 52 year old fat guy, jealous as all get out! Ha! Anyway, great video!
@chrisco2004 Haha! Yup, he's been working out for 50+ years. he will like hearing about your comment. Thanks for watching!
What kind of watch are you using to track distance ?
Garmin Instinct 2. I also use the 64sx. The instinct is great. I have ran it against the Fenix 7 a handful of times. For the cost of the instinct it's well worth it
