What's incredible about Queen is that, unlike most artists today (not all, to be fair) they wrote their own songs and had a huge hand in producing them as well. Songs used to be credited to specific band members in their early career, but in the mid-late 80s (especially after Freddie's diagnosis), they became closer and more like a family and credited all songs to "Queen"; this ensured equal share of the profits as well and less infighting about credit (since it was rare that there was no influence at all from other members). I believe that they're the only band who've had each member write at least one number-1 hit - they were the first complete group to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. They each also played more than one instrument! Roger could also play guitar, Brian played piano, Freddie played a bit of guitar, and John could play a bit of everything. Roger and Brian each have more than one solo album as well and are impressive vocalists; they've each sung lead on a few Queen songs as well.

Brian wrote this song while working on his studies in Tenerife. When he came back to the studio, he showed it to Freddie. Freddie really liked the song and asked Brian what he had in mind for lyrics. Brian told him that all he had was this line that kept going around in his head, "tie your mother down, and of course we can't possibly use that." Freddie replied "Of course we can, darling, why not?" So Brian proceeded with writing the lyrics. I love this song, it is one of my favorites. It is very rock and a bit edgy. Great song! Thank you for your reaction. There is a new season that just started yesterday and will drop a short episode every week for 50 weeks called "Queen The Greatest." This is the second season for this and this time it will be more of the behind the scenes stuff so you might want to check it out. It should be on RUclips but if you can't find it there, the link is in both Brian May's and Roger Taylor's Instagram accounts. Roger has it in his bio and Brian has it attached to a new drop of a photo of Freddie.

What’s even more impressive than fans throwing bouquets of flowers to Freddie, is in the 70s, Freddie would always have loads of roses prepared, all with the thorns cut off, and he would throw the roses to the fans to show their appreciation and love for them. Queen and Freddie always managed to show the fans that they loved them, whether it was throwing roses to them, writing songs specifically in their language, learning to sing their National anthems, or during the ‘love of my life’ performance always saying ‘I love you’ or ‘I still love you’ to the crowd. It’s fitting that the last words Freddie ever sang to his fans was ‘I still love you’ at the end of ‘These are the days of our lives’. We still love you, Freddie ♥️

Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe singing Barcelona, live at La Nit will amaze you. How Can I Go On, by the same two, is great.

Written by our newly knighted Dr Sir Brian May, a lot of their songs have come from personal experience in life, whether their lives growing up, something which happened at university, they have drawn from world experiences as well, you can ask Sir Brian and Roger Taylor they're both on social media platforms and they have many official videos covering the whole of the group from the beginning on their RUclips Channels as they all have one apart from John, he retired from public life in 1997

There are 4 different versions of "one vision" - one is the studioversion - the others are "the making of" and they are all hilarious and of course it is edited but it gives you a view into the work and creation of that song.

The drummer, Roger Taylor is still playing. The lead guitarist Brian May is still playing ,still has the long hair, it’s just white now . Both are in their 70s and still playing in Queen. Look them up . Still honoring Freddie, and playing queen songs

Have always wondered how he could do what he did for two hours and keep THAT voice ? Another great reaction and another great entrance ! If you run out of ideas you’ll have to be dropped in by chopper … you’d prob be ok the roof would break your fall 😆🤣

New subscriber here absolutely loving watching you become a Queen fan ❤ did you hear the Roger scream around 3.33 a fabulous singer compliments Freddie’s voice so well love this band ❤❤ they all had their ideas for the songs they brought them to the rest of the band who would have their input along with arguments etc they were four equal band members & a democracy they all had their say in what songs went on the albums nothing went on unless they all agreed x
