I think you're reading the meaning of the phrase Tie Your Mother Down the wrong way. Tie her down to keep her out of the way, so they can get down to some action.
Same with "take your little brother swimming with a brick" They want them gone, out the way not some kind of BDSM moves.

Just so you never go to jail because of a misunderstanding: Sinking people into lakes or rivers with added weights is not generally considered a BDSM practice, but murder in the 1st. (And yes, you're correct about it not being meant to be taken literally.)

I am not sure if this is the one but in the music video for one of their songs they used pyrotechnics and they placed one near Roger Taylor's drums and they put too much in and it actually blew him off his stool.
