How totally creative and beautiful! I think I have a bag or two that I could freshen up for spring doing just what you did. Hope that I can find a pretty napkin simular to yours.
Happy Crafting Patsy🙂

Very nice. Wonderful job.
Thanks Ryan!
Wow
Love love love ✨✨✨✨✨ no glue before ironing. ? Brill 👌🏽👏🏽
Donna, you do have to apply the glue on the handbag and let it dry completely and then iron the napkin onto it
I’m a little confused. Are you using glue or decoupage medium? During the last steps in the process I thought you said to cover the bag in a “thick layer of glue” but then right after that it sounded like you said “once the paint is dry...” I’m not sure and there’s no closed captioning option or a list of materials in the description. I have problems hearing and just wanted to double check.
Lovely. It's hard to hear over the music. Could you please list the products you used?
Thank you
Wooow Very beatiful
LINDO!!!!!!
Beautiful 😍 but the music is little louder…
genie du decoupage
Thank you so much :))
How did you prep the bag? Could not hear properly..can list down the products used in the description box?
She used artist gesso on the exterior of the bag.
The painting of the glue first and letting it dry is an interesting concept that I haven't seen before here in any instructional videos, but I'm rather confused with the use of "wax" paper. Do you mean baking or parchment paper as "wax paper" for kitchen use is virtually unknown in UK and I'm not aware of it in Europe. All I could figure about the physics of the bonding process is that the wax melts through into the napkin BUT don't see how it's thick enough to fuse - or does it somehow melt the underlying glue? Wax is both sides so it would also get onto the iron too, therefore causing a melted and likely burnt mess- thereby ruining the thin paper of the napkin.
Also I would probably first stuff paper or a pillow or padding into the body of the bag before fusing the decoration as otherwise it looks difficult to apply the iron evenly to the surfaces.
Hi Amanda, yes it’s my mistake.. I shouldn’t have called it wax paper. It’s parchment/baking/butter paper.
Thank you! That's helpful. I assume therefore, the fusing is due to the dry glue melting or at least becoming sticky with the heat of the iron?
You’re very welcome Amanda.Yes, that’s exactly how the technique works. Happy Crafting:)
Thank you again. I recently tried decoupaging a napkin onto a chalk painted wooden chair and it was a disaster. (What had I done wrong?) This method gives me another chance at success when I plane off the crumpled mess & try again!
Can you please write down the material used?
Is it possible to use scrapbook paper in place of a napkin? Have you or anyone else tried this? I'm just curious how it would turn out.
Can u please give the name for waterproof varnish.
Hi Neelum, I use Aquadur by Asian Paints..
Instead of gesso can we use white paint
Can u pl give The materials used pl
Is the paint to make it easier for the napkin to stick or is it for decorative purposes?
Just to cover the print on the purse or else it would show through the napkin.
Really nice... Could you please tell me that where did I find all decoupage materail? As decoupage napkins are very expensive on Amazon..
There are many other hobby-material selling websites that sell decoupage products along with eBay and others.. so just do a google search and all the options shipping to your location would be available
Ok .. will check..
Where can we get those napkins from?
Craft stores
Are you using cloth napkins or paper napkins
These are paper napkins
what have you first step coat is it Jesso or what ?
Gaming Guru G - it's Gesso! A combination of calcium carbonate with an acrylic polymer medium... Commonly called gesso.. Used to prime canvas
Material of hand bag?
Nice video but music is too loud .
Great video except the music drowned out your voice.
Photoxity none.... Thank you, yes..Will definitely be more careful the next time :)
PLEASE get rid of the loud annoying music. I did not finish watching the video because of it
You show your tools quite to quickly! No chance of seeing what you use. Not to understand what you say it is called. 😢😅
The music was distracting & annoying.
I hate the whistling music.
