So kind of you to give some sleep to Rambo Alchemist. He deserved to rest for a bit.
One man doing rambo, and the other doing bloodcastle.
This is peek WC3!
For those curious: the story is about Moon vs Tod at the WEG2005 (world esports games).
It was a live tournament game in a Korean studio and even though the video quality from streams back then isn’t very good, some people to this day still claim that you can see tod shedding tears when the camera focuses at him after the game 🥲
Which is always a nice sight. Grubby doesn't explain this in the vid but I think part of the reason this wasn't seen as a bad mannered move is because Tod was such a toxic player

@@jeromedewart Hello, out of curiosity, what made him toxic? I don't know anything about the competitions, so I don't see how one can be toxic in this field.

It's just incredible to see Grubby producing innovative content at such a great rate by playing decades old strategy game. I heard many stories where people weren't able to escape a well after falling into one, and here is the story of someone being surrounded by wells while being asleep! Wtf? Thanks a lot!

I was wondering if this game was going to make it onto your RUclips channel! I didn't believe I was actually playing Grubby, I'm a big fan. Good game! And to answer your question in-game, yeah I have been doing this to other people on bnet xD Shameless copycat, but it's just too fun of a strategy. Alchemist is a bit tough unless you can get him leveled up, this is the first time I've gotten smacked down so hard despite making it to level 6
It looked good for you until he countered your moon wells
This is what happens when you try to style on grubby undead, you obviously end up in a jail of moonwells while various mercenaries and offrace heroes destroy your base.
Okay Grubby, i have an idea. You can play solo hero undead. The catch is you dont build any units or heroes except for Banshee. Then you steal an enemy worker get the altar and do a solo hero with the enemy race hero.
Always happy to see banshee possession strat being used.
This video deserves the epic title imo: such creative way to counter that strat, by using possess on wisps currently in the same base to create moonwells, around the opponent, to feed dl constantly, and to fully control the main threat... he's not only a genius who roleplay the banshees voice perfectly dude! What a player!
You keep managing to outdo yourself. I don't know how you do it but I'm always going to be here for it.
This reminds me of the 1998 intel world championship semi finals where PocZ vs Nexusium (HvO) where PocZ does a 10 peon rush into a double baneling boom. Ah the nostalgia.

BIG Fan of yours & your War 3 gameplay against the best that's EVER been. I played the game for quite a few years online in the first few years. You have always been revered among the Warcraft 3 community as a highly successful strategist, innovative, & entertaining player above all else. The series of solo hero gameplay releases you have done have been highly entertaining by those that still play the game. Although the strat for this one was borrowed from another well known player, I thought your sleep/moonwell trap was one of the most awesome things I've ever seen in the game. The word genius doesn't do it justice. Awesome! Just wanted to tell you that. BTW, how can you play Warcraft 3 online these days?

Hey Grubby, I would love if you could spend a few seconds on the items you drop on creeps camp; Like what do they do and why are they good or bad. I remember some of them from when I was a kid but sometimes I have no idea what they do. Thanks a lot for the video again ! 🙂
Grubby often holds the mouse over them and a tooltip says what they do. so you need to pause the video in the right moment. Grubby is fast so not easy, but you can slow down video speed as well for that ;D

@@Amoeby I was thinking that you need to already start as undead in order to do this strategy, so black citadel was automatically disqualified.
Unless, you start as another race and pick Dark Ranger and get her to level 6... But that's an even rarer variation of the build :P
@@Khantia why would you assume that you start as undead considering that original Blood Castle was made by an elf?
@@Amoeby guess it'd be easiest to execute, and would be the most common race for it?
@@Khantia well, it would still require an insane lead or a huge skill gap or you'll lose. So I don't think solo DR with NE is worse than banshee possession rush.

Here's an idea! Don't make an undead hero at all. Possess his worker, start transitioning to your new race and only then build human/orc/nightelf heroes, unsummon all undead buildings and remove all traces of blight ;) Then win the game as a new race! Does this sound possible? :)
