DMC 5: BEST RED ORB FARM 99,999,999 in 3 MINUTES!!! (WORKS ON ALL VERSIONS, READ DESCRIPTION)

- HOW TO DO IT:
-Be on Human, Mission 1 as Vergil. Method works on any version. Taking NO DAMAGE is essential for the maximum value, but this farm is absolutely bonkers since it only needs to be done once if sucessful!
-On the first part generate DT meter to fill both normal and your SDT bar WITHOUT damaging enemies, so just do the: △△,Delay,△ While high in the air to make Vergil sheathe Yamato for DT while there are enemies nearby. DON'T DAMAGE THEM, just repeat till your meters are full.
-Proceed to the boss without damaging anyone.
-THE BOSS PART IS IMPORTANT: You need to use your Doppelganger and ONLY him to deplete the boss HP to literally 1, before killing the boss with Vergil himself. The Doppelganger will follow your inputs. So this is what you need to do:
-On the boss summon Doppelganger + Activate SDT. Now you're gonna go into taunt animations while pressing atack cause that makes ONLY your Doppelganger atack the boss but NOT YOU! I used the Bloody Palace Taunt (Hold L3+ mash Touchpad) but Yamato: "Show me your motivation" will also work, you will just need to be a bit patient to get it, if not jump to cancel the taunt.
-Do the standard △ combo that ends with the big cut since it does the most damage but DON'T KILL the boss with the Doppelganger, just try to get his HP to a small amount.
-After his HP is very low you're gonna do the: △,△,△,(△Mash) combo WITH the doppelganger to reduce the boss HP to LITERALLY 1. The reason for that is that the multi-hitting part of Yamato Combo C cannot KILL enemies unless you do the ender, so DEACTIVATE the Doppelganger DT BEFORE YOU DO THE FINAL HIT of the C combo!!! The boss needs to be left with ONE health by the usage of Yamato Combo C multiple slashes or this won't work!
-Once the boss gets to 1 HP by using your Doppelganger multi hitting part of "Yamato Combo C", all you need to do is use VERGIL HIMSELF to finally finish off the boss, I used Rapid Slash.
-If you run out of DT in the middle of the boss don't worry, just stay away and use △,△,Delay△ to fill your DT till you can summon your Doppelganger again!
Enjoy your max Red orbs... yes all 99.999.999 of them.
(If you get hit you will still make over 5 million red orbs if you done the method correctly).

Oh this also works on all versions, it can be tricky to pull off but believe me its worth it.
Vergil Bloody Palace taunt is the best for this but others except the EX taunt should work too, if not let me know.

The best part for having fun of this glitch - using trainer's damage multiplier function (set to 0.001), left the boss with literally 0 hp and got over 90 million stylish pts (and total red orbs score dropped to -10 million which means I owe now millions to Dante)

@@demoniccreationbrian1803I think for the player? So the player is doing x0.001 damage to the boss which would make Vergil's damage so minimalistic that the boss's HP can drop between the numbers of 1 and 0.
I did it without the BP taunt, not the most consistent/ easy way to do this but the "show me your motivation" taunt can work as well. I practiced in the void for the combo c timing before going in for the real deal. Thanks for the guide and good luck for you all!
Just did this now. Still works - PS4 version + Vergil DLC. For 1 bar you need to press triangle triangle PAUSE then triangle again. Will give 1 bar. The timing for the last section - get boss down to about 10-15 percent then start the triple triangle just before him so the 2nd/3rd slice hits him. The repeated triangle press will do the multiple slashes then remove doppelgänger with L1. Go to the boss and press triangle with Vergil. That’s what I did and it worked. Amazing stuff though. Thanks for the video and obviously the original finder of this.
So can I cancel the doppelgänger out of the mutli slash animation if I despawn him?
@@ghoostyyy___ you can have the doppleganger out or not as much as you want. It’s just the last bit of health you need to be careful with. When boss health got very low. I’d stop everything go back and rebuild my meter to full. Once full I took my time and pressed the triangle combo. When he starts multi slashing GET RID OF HIM and then hit once with Vergil (I just pressed triangle) attack type didn’t seem to matter.

after 2 hours of grinding, i finally done it. i got 300k only though cause it probably wasnt like literally 1hp but a little more
nvm, the next try i did it perfectly. although i got hit so i only got 5m but i wont need more ngl
u need to do C combo with DV trigger and then disable it before the last hit so he stays at 1HP 100%, thats the tricky thing :P

Edit: I managed to do it, you HAVE to leave the boss at 1 HP, it can't just be low enough for 1 attack from Vergil to kill it, and it doesn't need to be specifically a rapid slash, I did it with just a single regular triangle press
I just did this in the special edition for PS5 and I only got 497178... And yes, I did exactly what you told me to in the description, except the Yamato combo C move, I just managed to lower the boss health low enough for 1 rapid slash with just the regular yamato combo A with the doppelganger, do you HAVE to use the combo C maybe?
Yes, thanks for clarifying, you need to reduce the boss HP to 1 with the multi hitting part of combo C. I used rapid Slash to deal the killing blow cause I don't know if any other move can effect the style gain or mess this up.

Whenever I go to taunt with Virgil and I go to attack with the doppelgänger, it just cancels my taunt
It's not a problem just you have to make sure not to hit the enemy

Actually did this exploit yesterday and even though I didn't get 99 million, I did get 4 million which was enough to get all of Vergil's abilities, now I have to do it again for Nero, Dante and V, 12 million orbs is a lot and just impossible if playing normally to acquire
(From what I have seen in the comments, it turns out the reason why I only got 4 million is because I was using checkpoints, so I will do this again later today without checkpoints, I didn't think this was possible to pull off until I saw a video yesterday)

I did it on ps5 without dt max out (all the containers) and with the basic taunts, the only part that bothered me was the combo c, because i kept failing to initiate it at the right moment when the boss was low on health, lucky that still works

Just spam taunt button+triangle so the doppelganger hits while vergil is taunting
Yeah, wich is why this is easier to do with the Bloody Palace taunt, but his usual Sheathe Yamato Taunt "Show me your motivation" can also do the trick, albeit a bit harder.

@@broskmarble1609 BP Taunt is: Hold L3 + repeatedly press touchpad. For the "Show me your motivation" taunt its just a random Yamato taunt, if you don't get it you can just jump to cancel the other taunts then try again.

ok, but one question. Because if I do everything necessary, without damage, leaving the enemy at 0 to finish with the last hit normally, the game still votes me a few measly orbs, why? 😭
You're probably doing something wrong, remember you need to proceed to the boss without damaging anyone, then damage the boss using the clone and ONLY the clone, you need to reduce his HP to LITERALLY 1 with the use of Yamato Combo C multi hits, cancel this move before he does the finisher hit of combo C by deactivating DT, then finally use Vergil himself to score the killing blow. I know its a bit tricky but believe me it works. The tricky part is reducing the boss HP just enough so that Doppelganger combo C multi slashes can take him to 1 HP then immediately deactivate the clone so that he doesn't do the ender otherwise he will kill the boss. You must be the one to finish him off from 1 HP. If the boss is NOT LITERALLY at 1 HP, using Vergil to finish him off will not award the 99 Million Red Orbs.

Does restarting from the last checkpoint, assuming you took and dealt no damage from the point that checkpoint was made, still work?
Edit: Also, does the damage from taunts count? Because I know the "Show me your motivation" taunt deals damage, and I was wondering if that ruins the exploit
Restarting from the checkpoint affects score so you can't. Show me your motivation does damage if you're too close so you gotta make sure to stay a bit away as Vergil
If you fail you can check point it
No - you have to start over. Quit the mission and start mission again.

Do you have the Bloody Palace Taunt? If not try using the "Show me your Motivation" Taunt. It should work for Xbox too if you follow the description. Maybe you're hitting enemies directly by mistake? Remember the only direct damage Vergil will do on this mission is the last hit when you put the boss to literally 1 health using the clone and ONLY the clone first. If the boss is not put to 1 health with the usage of Combo C multiple slashes, it won't work. Remember to cancel the Doppelganger before ending combo C else the clone will finish the boss himself and that won't award you 9999999. Believe me this can be tricky to pull off but its worth it.

How do you make the doppelgänger move without you moving?
If you mean atacking you just need to be in a taunt animation, Vergil Bloody Palace taunt works best but any besides his EX taunt should do. Some people are saying the "Show me your Motivation" taunt works nicely for this, involves some luck to use it so be patient.

@@therealmarce440No, it's not. Just done it yesterday with "Show me your motivation" taunt. You must be careful because sometimes Vergil does "You think you stand a chance" taunt and he'll attack the enemy in case you'll press triangle during this taunt. But then again "Show me your motivation" - you're good to go

It probably has something to do with Style points going into the negatives. All I know is that the clone itself can't generate any style points, but then if you smack the boss as Vergil the moment the boss has 1 health that gives you millions of style points wich then gets converted into red orbs. WHY does that give you so many? I have no idea 🤣

Sadly the "Show me your motivation" Taunt is a bit RNG, you can cancel any other taunt with a jump and do it till you get it, though you can just beat BP with Vergil super costume to unlock his Bloody Palace taunt, wich is done by holding L3 and repeatedly pressing the touchpad. This is the taunt I use on the video and its much easier to do with it.

@@OMR3333 You can either buy the Vergil super costume as a paid DLC or beat DMD using him by spamming gold orbs to unlock the Super Costume, then use it to beat Bloody Palace easily. If you're new to the series no need to do this red orb farm immediately, play a bit till you're confortable with the game and Vergil, you can stick with the good old Faust hat farm if you prefer. You will get better at the game, trust me.

I don't have a strategy against Vergil, I am not even that good, actually I don't beat him most of the time but you don't need to defeat him to get a lot of orbs, as long as you get to the upper levels the reward will be good!
I recommend you to practice that boss fight, there is an option in the bloody palace that allows you to practice any level you are having trouble with!

Nope, but Human is better cause it makes the exploit easier to do since the boss has less health and agression.

Doppelganger just copies your inputs.
You can also use Super Vergil for this which saves SO MUCH time.

No it doesn't, I recommend practicing with Super Vergil and once you master it go without SV. It took me like an 1 or 2 to practice and the next day I got it. And yes the whole 99999999 orbs

Well it's not like the game's been updated in the last year or anything, so there's no reason it should have changed.
@@Darkseany After many attempts, I finally got the 99 million red orbs. One thing I discovered is that after your DT runs out and then you have to use the air combo to refill it, you can also press and hold L3 + press the D Pad to taunt, it also refills the DT bar. You'd have to evade the tentacles and taunt right after it strikes from the ground so you could taunt fully. It's what helped me. When I taunt, I make sure Vergil says, "Show me your motivation," and then make sure the taunt is fully done.

Is activating DT affecting the orb score in any way? Since the damage is done by the Doppelgänger anyway, switching into DT seems uneccesary, or am I missing something?
Its for the extended combos you get from dt.
No it doesn't. SDT is only used to make this fight end faster cause it gives the clone acess to more powerful combos, but its not technically necessary as long as you use the clone.

@@NieR34 The boss has to be put down to literally 1 HP by using Yamato combo C multiple slashes, you need to cancel the final hit of that combo by deactivating the Doppelganger when the boss is at 1 HP so that your clone doesn't finish him off, then use a rapid slash or a single hit to kill the boss using Vergil. If you don't follow that it won't work.
The taunt is not to regen DT, but for atacking the boss with the clone without Vergil atacking as well. If you atack the boss with Vergil at any point outside of when the boss is at 1 HP it will mess up the exploit.

Yes, you're free to use any combos with the clone till the boss is low enough health so that Combo C multiple slashes takes him to 1 HP.

Can I ask if going back to your Checkpoint messes with this glitch? I used my Checkpoint every time I mistakenly landed the killing blow or if I felt like I wouldn't be able to drop the boss to 1hp.
I'm pretty sure I didn't get hit and I was able to drop it to 1hp. Though I guess my mistake was I held my Y button too long and Vergil killed the boss with Judgment Cut. Still got 4.6 million red orbs though.
Using checkpoints does decrease the overall stylish points obtained from pulling this exploit and that does affect the red orbs obtained, though if you're still getting millions even when using it thats all well and good.

Super Costume gives you -80% Style score penalty wich messes up the glitch

Just press the DT button again, that will cancel any move the Doppelganger is doing.

I don't see why not, even the Special Edition shouldn't affect how the glitch works, if the glitch somehow doesn't work for Xbox Series X I would ask that you please send me a video if you can so that I can see the reason why it didn't work.
