I was 20 when this song was released. It’s timeless but oh how I don’t know where actual time has gone to. So many twists and turns, trials and tribulations, good and bad times, regrets…and yet other things I wouldn’t change whatsoever. Maybe it’s best that we can’t predict our futures because we have to learn from our mistakes so that we can grow but my mom is 83 YO now and, if there’s anyone in my life that could stay forever young, I would wish it to be her, as well as my daughter. I lost my paternal grandmother at 95 YO in 2016 and my maternal grandmother at 98 1/2 YO in 2018. Lost my dad at 78 YO in 2019. For as long as they really did live, it still wasn’t long enough. It was both heartbreaking and heartwarming to take care of them…but an absolute honor. Something I have no regrets about even though it was very difficult, at times. Also lost my father-in-law at 57 YO in 2011. I sure wish they could’ve all remained forever young and wish the same for other dear loved ones and friends that meant so much to me and always will until my last breath. I wish the same for others who have also lost those that dearly meant so very much. As another commenter said…we have to remain in trying to be young at heart. That can sometimes be the key to longevity.

Yesterday my uncle died in 58th year of life, this was his favorite song, everyday at 5 pm he would knock at my door for me to make coffee for us both and to listen to music like this otuside on the stairs to drink and smoke, he lived humble life, puttted everyone first then himself next, today i made us a coffee and took 2 cigarettes and smoked one and lit another one and putted it on stairs for him, love your family cause you dont know how much you would miss them till but when they die, I love you man❤

For some people college is behind, we find our first actual jobs and some of us are starting families. You see, from between 30 and 60 there's not much that differs. That's the most important time period when you have to fight for those things that'll turn into sweet memories later on, just like your teenager memories. A 24yr old knows about life. They are actually at the same situation as people in their 60s. My friends father climbed Kilimanjaro last year in his 60s. You can do what you want with your life, doesn't matter if you are 25 or 55. But after college, no matter if it's your 25s or 55s, you have to make room for things to happen in your life.

Had a terrible, terrible day, planned and spent money I didn’t have for a project that was straightforward but failed at the very last minute. I am crashed and so is my family. I think often that this last 40 years, not too much has changed compared to the 40 years from 1944 to 1984. Music, fashion, etc changed drastically from 1944 to 1984, I would say much more so than from 1984 to 2024. People are still wearing blue jeans, t-shirts, and listening to synth music.

I was 20 when this song was released. It’s timeless but oh how I don’t know where actual time has gone to. So many twists and turns, trials and tribulations, good and bad times, regrets…and yet other things I wouldn’t change whatsoever. Maybe it’s best that we can’t predict our futures because we have to learn from our mistakes so that we can grow but my mom is 83 YO now and, if there’s anyone in my life that could stay forever young, I would wish it to be her, as well as my daughter. I lost my paternal grandmother at 95 YO in 2016 and my maternal grandmother at 98 1/2 YO in 2018. Lost my dad at 78 YO in 2019. For as long as they really did live, it still wasn’t long enough. It was both heartbreaking and heartwarming to take care of them…but an absolute honor. Something I have no regrets about even though it was very difficult, at times. Also lost my father-in-law at 57 YO in 2011. I sure wish they could’ve all remained forever young and wish the same for other dear loved ones and friends that meant so much to me and always will until my last breath. I wish the same for others who have also lost those that dearly meant so very much. As another commenter said…we have to remain in trying to be young at heart. That can sometimes be the key to longevity.
But thankfully there's a hope of living forever young.

You see, from between 30 and 60 there's not much that differs. That's the most important time period when you have to fight for those things that'll turn into sweet memories later on, just like your teenager memories. A 24yr old knows about life. They are actually at the same situation as people in their 60s. My friends father climbed Kilimanjaro last year in his 60s. You can do what you want with your life, doesn't matter if you are 25 or 55. But after college, no matter if it's your 25s or 55s, you have to make room for things to happen in your life.
