Hey man, I did start watching ur videos before I got the approbation here in Germany and thanks to your videos the transition was smoother. I intended to either do a Hospitation before I started working or an FSP Vorbereitungskurs, but I ended up taking the course because I got it financed through the Agentur fur Arbeit. Thank you very much for every video! Looking forward to new videos! You have helped me so much! When I make it to Germany (now i’m B1.1, long road ahead), I will let you know. Wish you the very best in your career in Switzerland! 😇
Firstly I really want to thank you for the amazing content you have shared, I came across your channel by accident and binged all the videos, I'm entering my 6th year of medical school and looking forward to either Germany or Switzerland, as a non EU citizen studying in the EU, in this channel I got more information that I did in the last 2 years trying to understand how these things work, I'm very appreciative, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I look forward to the video about working in Switzerland as a non EU citizen.
Hi Eutopia i would also like to have solutions concerning non-EU citizens who have EU medical diploma (Hungary) who wishes to do their medical residency in Switzerland. I have actually emailed MEBEKO about this. They told me that if I dont have EU/AELE nationality, i don't fall for the direct recognition. They told me that I have to apply for the foreign non-recognisable medical degree recognition pathway.(which is weird since this pathway is for non-EU medical diplomas and I shouldn't fall in this category either) So basically they put me in the same category as a non-EU with unrecognised non EU medical degree, which I heard is the worst category to be put in)
I've recently passed my FSP and will soon be working as an anaesthesiologist in Hessen. Your videos have been super insightful and inspiring and I've been watching them since medschool! Thanks a lot for your time putting all these info together and digesting it one by one for us! Wish you all the best in Switzerland! Can't wait for the next video!! 🤩
Hello , first of all congrats on passing the exam , secondly is it possible to chat view social media i have a few questions about these stuff im a 5th year med student and learning German, thank you for your time
Hey EutopiaMed! Could you elaborate more on what were you dissatisfied about with your German contract? Was it more hours/less pay? Also how prevalent is this dissatisfaction among resident German doctors in general?
Satisfaction is a relative concept that depends on the person. 2 different people may see the same thing in complete different ways. That being said: I could say that where I was working noone seemed to be happy or satisfied. This is something that happens often in hospitals as a result of the working culture and conditions and not necessarily just in germany. It may be an inherent characteristic of hospitals everywhere. As I have more experience in different hospitals and acountries I will be able to tell the differences and maybe understand why this happpens. The contract was fine. If I had to do more hours I would get paid acordingly.
Good luck with your new journey! Yes I learned a lot from your videos about the pathway to Germany. Actually I just finished B2 and now I‘m in the process of sending my papers and waiting to receive the „Bescheid“ so I can get the visa and travel.
