Realizing that I don't "have" or even "want" to be an entrepreneur or start my own business has probably been one of the most freeing realizations I had in a while. Aligning yourself with your nature, discovering your gift and your way to share it with the world is HUGELY undervalued and also misunderstood. Thank you for sharing this Tony!
Curious, how did you come to that realisation? Did you experience an identity shift?
@@YaNeK92 good question. I came to that realization after wondering why I experienced so much inner resistance to building a business. I have a lot of willpower and discipline, and have achieved a lot because of it, but I couldn't commit enough to creating a busisness because I was simply focusing on the wrong thing. It helped me to open my perspective a lot more tbh!
So what do you do for a living?
@@480dub work as a freelancer left and right. Taking on opportunities as they come. I'm still building a business behind the scenes, I'm just taking it more easy and slow to build something that feels authentic and aligned.
You probably didn't have the right purpose to create a business. That's why. Business isn't about just making money at least in the beginning stages.

We live in a world where so many people focus on the WHAT. Focusing on WHY is what people like Steve Jobs did, and Simon Sinek are doing. That changed the game. Finally, we're having more discussions about the WHO. Without WHO, there is no WHAT, WHY, or HOW. The WHO is the only aspect that is truly unassailable by AI. AI can help you do the same stuff faster (augmentation), or give you more time to work on the future state of your business, versus operations. AI power lags people power, just like customer ideation does. They can't tell you what the next paradigm looks like. That requires people who live it and distill it. That's back to the WHO again. Autonomous enterprise only refers to operations, not intuition. So far.

Wow this hit home. I guess I already knew that I’m a creator but it kind of feels liberating to hear that I don’t need to try to become an entrepreneur. I want to be a creator and use my time to make music especially for video games. That’s what I would do every day if money wasn’t an issue. Next I need to find who I need to get me there.

I think what you do well is what you can go back to everytime and it doesnt burn you out, mentally or physically.
When you're first starting the business, you have to be everything. When the $ starts coming in, you can hire people to do the jobs you're not good at.
I'm not making $ yet. I will get to a certain point, making my art, and the next step will force me to be a business promoter, or content creator, or salesman... and I freeze. I'll do anything to put off those important tasks.
And my business is failing. Or, perhaps just moving *really* slow.
But I've got a list of things I can do.
I appreciate the help Tony and Dean make available. I listen to something daily.

Heard Tony was facing some vocal cords issues, may his team suggest him to look at Ken Tamplin, the vocal coach, who besides being a singing vocal coach, also deals with these vocal issues and cord rehabilitation like nobody. He also works with some of the most famous OTL's, doctors who had treated celebrities in these processes. 🤞
*Nature vs Nurture though..* we can adapt into anything under the right circumstances when we experience an identity shift. As Jim Rohn once said:
