  • Larrivée's sawyer, Moe Hutchison, cutting guitar tops from Sitka spruce blocks. In this video we can see Moe prepping the block and finally cutting out tops.     It's a shame that those first cut offs end up in the dust bin. They'd make some nice uke tops! Send them to me ;-)

    Very interesting... I've been trying to adapt a system to my bandsaw to do the same job, but I see now that is a very elaborated system that you guys have.
    I was just wondering... how much of the thickness of the wood do you lose using this blade? And which size do you think is the best for the task?

    That machine is a monster... takes me 1 hour to do that on m little saw.... thats is cutting 120mm....
