The "Dying Is Your Latest Fashion" album is actually a real banger. Its just one good song after another. You really should check the entire album out.
A big reason this song is so loved is because of how popular it was in the post-hardcore/emo time. It was one of my favorite songs when it came out so I get hyped when it comes on, would be the emo equivalent of something like you make my dreams by hall & oates. Just a good, solid song that you can tell is dated but still get hyped for. Nostalgia plays a big role in how much people love this song, including myself.
Fun fact about this song!!! This song was created in one of Ronnie's earliest bands (written in 2004 i believe). 2 bands before ETF hit the industry! It was added to the first ETF album as a filler song, to fill the first album up and became one of the most popular songs on the album! Also. The drummer and bass player were in his high-school band that performed at the school talent show, the bass player was actually snagged from their rivalry band after that talent show took place!
It's not that they're "underrated," it's that they're not sung by Ronnie. That's nothing necessarily against who people call "Escape the Fate," but when you compare statistics to Ronnie, of course, you're gonna come up short.
The Day I Left the Womb😁 ETF song when Ronnie was in it:) Love that you guys checking out the older songs❤️ Have you done "I dont mind" or "its over when its over" ?:)
You gotta react to some of ETF's stuff with Craig on vocals I love the album with ronnie don't get me wrong but I think a lot of their newer material is better. Love this song tho it still slap after all these years
For real. ETF imo has always been a better with Craig. They took a more metalcore route once he joined in place of the MCR style they had with their first album. ETF, This War is Ours, and Ungrateful are perfect albums and a ton better than anything FIR has done post-Coming Home.
Definitely not a correct statement about Craig Mabbitt. He’s very talented and sounds great live. Imo live versions are an inferior listening experience anyway. Craig fits ETF so much better and the band as a whole is just severely underrated. Need to see some more reactions by Craig era ETF. Ungrateful, This War Is Ours (The Guillotine II), Lost In Darkness, Just A Memory, Massacre, Gorgeous Nightmare, Prepare Your Weapon, Liars and Monsters, We Won’t Back Down, and Bad Blood are all just a few amazing songs that I’d love to see reactions too. They beat out most of the stuff Ronnie has done after Fashionably Late.
WHAT?! MORE RONNIE?! 😃 my only comment….. you should’ve listened to the ORIGINAL song. It was SOOOOO much better lol fun fact. This song and the original music video, is what got Ronnie signed and Epitaph recognized that he was special. Craig is great, and I enjoy his vocals and their songs. A lot of people will compare apples to oranges, and of course they’re not the same. A lot of people feel that new ETF now, isn’t as strong, and that’s a fair opinion, but I still enjoy their music.
There are some great videos of Escape the Fate performing live with Ronnie. My Apocalypse and No Sympathy for the Dead both have some good performances. There's also a couple out there where Ronnie was so high out of his mind that the rest of the band looks like they might stop playing any moment to catch him if he falls. It's both hilarious and heartbreaking. Surprisingly, he still sounds amazing even though he looks like he might pass out at any moment!
Thank you for doing early Ronnie Radke! Please do the whole album! Little detail about this music video was that it was shot in a place called cafe capulet. Little nod to Romero and Juliet. Also, it would be cool for us to see you two to compare escape the fate with Ronnie vs ETF with Craig Mabbit.
I know it’s not ETF days but Guillotine IV on earlier FIR album is a top 5 favorite song by Ronnie for me. Not sure if you’ve reacted already though so ignore me if this is old news
So the name of this song comes from a local band from when ETF was forming called "Truth in Cliche" (i cant remember the exact details but its in Ronnies book) either one of the ETF band members auditioned for them and didnt make it or a member got kicked out and joined ETF, so They werent "good enough for truth in cliche" 😅
This was the first song I EVER heard with Ronnie as a vocalist. I get so nostalgic, I was like what.. 15-16(?) when this song was released, and I've been in love with Ronnie's voice ever since. I'm 33 now, turning 34, so I've been listening to Ronnie for over half my life haha He's one of my absolute favorite vocalists~
This album, Dying is Your Latest Fashion, will hold up as one of my top 5 albums of all time. Every.Song.Is.A.Banger. and also nostalgia helps. But the album is legitimately pure gold, silver, platinum. The best of anything and everything
If you haven’t already, I would recommend for you guys to check out “My Apocalypse” from this same album. It’s so good! The lyrics, the vocals, the screams, the instruments! 10/10
I’m glad y’all went backwards for Ronnie, DIYLF is such a good album imo. I’ve been watching you two since you found sleep token, and I’m in for the long-haul. Keep up the good work🖤
😁💭 Did anybody catch his lyrics "Crash my car through your window make sure you're alive" ? He kind of reuses that line in Popular Monster "Crash my car just to feel again" He likes to sing about crashing his car lol 😅
You are very right in how long this one has been requested and it finally happened!! This song was a whole vibe, and the vibe never died! Ronnie’s been killing it since he was in his album pampers😂
Loved this song but it's way better now absolutely amazing. hope you react to their live concert to see the live version of this song. Falling in reverse live from the unknown
I literally, to this day, listen to the album this song is on (Dying is Your Latest Fashion), at least once a week. Usually while filming parts of my cosplay tutorials for videos, or just making things off camera that I gotta make. I always build/make, to music when not talking on camera, and this album is always a part of that.
Love the you’re getting into “Dying is your latest fashion”. This was the music I was into during HS, and while I do think “This War is Ours” is still one of ETF’s best albums with Craig, I still think “Dying is your latest fashion” is ETF’s best album. I also love that ETF began by winning a local radio competition judged by My Chemical Romance, another band I got heavily into, along with many great bands like The Used, BFMV, BMTH, Slipknot, Korn, SOAD, etc.
hi guys love your great reactions watched about 60-70% of your music reactions great entertainment. but please can you react to Chris Webby - Raw Thoughts V or his video remix of richmen north of richmond thnx..... keep up your great work.... appreciate it guys.
I'm still excited for you to get to all the other stuff like Tragic Magic and Goodbye Graceful (early FIR), but also other ETF even if it's not Ronnie, there's a few good ones. I actually really like Picture Perfect, for example. One of their newer ones. But I watch EVERY video you do on Ronnie lol.
Broo I’ve been waiting for this one since yalls first falling in reverse reaction haven’t started the video yet but can’t wait to see what y’all think!! Hope to see more of this album in the future it’s really good
Can you please do 'My Apocalypse' and 'Cellar Door'. Both are with Ronnie Radke, and they are amazing songs. I still listen to them after all these years! ❤🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
If you wanna hear this era of Ronnie & ETF going hard then you'll probably want to check out "There's No Sympathy for the Dead" or "The Guillotine". 🤘👊 The former is more catchy with some heavy vibes, where as the latter is definitely the heavier of the two, probably even their heaviest track with Ronnie in general.
I've seen escape the fate several times live. Last time was with papa roach, Hollywood undead, and falling in reverse and I was kinda shocked with craigs voice this time. He sounded like he needed vocal rest. I've seen them several times before and he's sounded amazing but his voice sounded like it was really hurting this time. The band was great super on point. Craig really can sound AMAZING live. I think he just needed some vocal rest.
Ahh… back when Ronnie was strictly an Emo kid (he’s 19 in this one!), before he started evolving and never stopped!! This is how I discovered Ronnie back in the day! I myself was a pre teen, a scene kid, so you can imagine how excited I was when Scene Ronnie made his appearance in Falling in Reverse!
Thank you for doing this! This entire Escape the Fate album with Ronnie is flawless in my opinion. I remember a high school me falling for Ronnie even back then 😂
Craig is good live, but his vocals are personally just not my favorite. ETF in general is not for me to be honest other than the first album obviously.
If you're ever looking for straight balls to the wall heavy stuff i'd love to see you guys go through the discography of tallah they're pure chaos and insanity
First time i heard ETF and fell in love with them was this song was Situations😅 since then i heard all of them and now with Falling in reverse its just my ❤ ❤❤
I love Escape the Fate with Craig. They have so many awesome songs. Just a Memory is my favorite. ETF is still making music, touring and they have toured with Falling in Reverse more than once. You should check them out.
The "Dying Is Your Latest Fashion" album is actually a real banger. Its just one good song after another. You really should check the entire album out.
Absolute masterpiece they should react to it for suree
I would love to see their reaction to "Cellar Door" from that album.
This album has been with me since 7th grade and hasn’t grown old yet.
Wish there was more reactions to that album. Webs we weave as well love that
@@justinavera7846lol same, I got this album in 6th or 7th grade and I’m 27 now😂 I still listen to it really often

My absolute favorite song from Escape the Fate, thanks for reacting to it. 😍
THIS ONE IS GOOD!!!! U guys should react the whole album!!
This Is Amazing Robert Ortiz the drummer was like 17 in this😂
Baby Rob! ❤
my etf's favourites:
-this war is ours
-my apocalypse
-lost in darkness
-just a memory
-massacre
pretty much underrated songs in my opinion
Lost in darkness is such a powerful song man.
It's not that they're "underrated," it's that they're not sung by Ronnie. That's nothing necessarily against who people call "Escape the Fate," but when you compare statistics to Ronnie, of course, you're gonna come up short.
The Guillotine is a classic
The Day I Left the Womb😁 ETF song when Ronnie was in it:)

I watch yalls videos almost every day, hoping you'll do Sink or Swim and Caught Like a Fly by FIR. Great early Ronnie!

My apocalypse is my all time favourite song. Was the first song i ever heard with Ronnie Radke, it will always have a special place in my heart 😂
No Sympathy for the Dead is my favorite ETF song!!
@@slimsadie84 My favorite is probably The Guillotine.
Thank you for doing early Ronnie Radke! Please do the whole album!

one of my older favs and it was so much fun to sing back to Ronnie live and he be impressed we knew it!
I would love to see a reaction to MISSIO, my top 4 favourite songs are:
1. Sing To Me
2. Bottom Of The Deep Blue Sea
3. Twisted
4. Everybody Gets High
Great album. So nostalgic for me.
Escape the Fate opened for FIR and Papa Roach during the Rockzilla tour and I was actually impressed, the were good!
I know it’s not ETF days but Guillotine IV on earlier FIR album is a top 5 favorite song by Ronnie for me. Not sure if you’ve reacted already though so ignore me if this is old news
Pls tell me you've got Megan Thee Stallion Ft Spiritbox - Cobra recorded already
Please check out Modern Day Escape- "Maybe Holding Hands wasn't such a good idea"
Damit! Another Ronnie song that I've been sleeping on WTF! I gotta listen to more of FIR and ETF earlier stuff now
Y’all DEFINITELY need to react to My Apocalypse!!!
If you’re checking out old Escape the fate you guys need to listen to Dragging dead bodies in blue bags up really long hills!

Yaaay I've been waiting for this reaction! 💙
My favorite song from this album is "My Apocalypse." Such an amazing song, I highly recommend it!
Every time I watch one of these reactions I feel like Eric has a more outlandish beer glass.
the whole album is a gem all the way through! no skips
I’m glad y’all went backwards for Ronnie, DIYLF is such a good album imo. I’ve been watching you two since you found sleep token, and I’m in for the long-haul. Keep up the good work🖤
So sweet that you picked my favorite ETF song and said all these awesome things about it, thank you ❤
Lads! Do “webs we weave” from this album. So good
Ronnie's screams are something else in the early albums. The whole 'This War is Ours' and 'Dying is Your Latest Fashion' album are great.
This War is Ours was Craig. Ronnie does have some great moments on those early ETF tracks though no doubt.
@@RyanCogar oh shit I forgot. been a minute since I listened to those older ones. I love both albums though
@@thewanderingwolf7116 It's an easy mistake to make for sure, especially when it's been a while haha. 👍
the guillotine was of course part 1 of that. Which was ronnie. Though@@RyanCogar

Please, more from Escape The Fate with Ronnie
Do ungrateful from escape the fate pls, u guys gonna love it
This whole Album made me go from wimpy emo to stick up for myself emo. For its time it was pretty progressive. Lots of cool vical layering
You gotta listen to the whole album. I dipped out of emo for a bit but, I go back to this here and there.
I miss old Escape The Fate, this was a good pick.
The only Ronnie Radke I can actually listen too...
Have you done Situations...fire fire fire!!!
Another one from this album I feel y’all should check out is There’s No Sympathy for the Dead!
Harry Mack. Pls check this dude once
Thank you for doing this! This is my favourite ETF song! ❤
The bois are looking healthy 💪🏽💪🏽
Eric's comments at the end always make me crack up! Kyle, I agree with the sausages and bratwurst, but I'm a fan of bananas lol

Craig Mabbit is very talented, I’ve been fortunate enough to see them love a couple of times. They do not disappoint.
Emo Ronnie
I love you FIR reactions! Please do some Evanescence, their old and their new stuff
Craig is good live, but his vocals are personally just not my favorite. ETF in general is not for me to be honest other than the first album obviously.
You guys need to do “House of Cards” by Deadlands, her voice is majestic !!!
