Love Micah’s ornament he got for setting up his bank account 🤣
Thanks pal didn’t hear Alan say that 😅
Absolutely love this comment 😂😂😂 Made my morning 👍
@robertharradine Did you even watch the first 2 minutes of the video before posting this?
Don’t need to repeat what people say you know
@@TheOrlandoTrustfull funnily enough my dog was being a bellend when I first put this on, barking and chasing the cat……. I may of been a little distracted! Sorry I wasn’t paying attention 🙄
Mbappé in the WC seemed unreachable and both Walker and Hakimi stopped him almost everytime they had to. I believe Walker is the best full back in the world right now.
Great stuff as always guys, these are amazing!
Banging episodes out I’m all for it. Fair play chaps!
⚔️♥️
@@RHD1889🐷
Loving this series guys, genuinely tremendous banter and chemistry. Thanks for the much needed belly laughs every episode.
Have to include Ake and Gabriel in the defensive awards. Ake was brilliant for city in his makeshift LB role
As a Liverpool fan I can say Al is spot on. Most Liverpool fans don't want Everton to go down. And to be fair, if they did go down, with their financial position and the money spent on the new stadium, they probably wouldn't exist as a team and that would be disastrous.
I half disagree. I’d love them to go down for a season but if they didn’t come back first try then they’d be finished
Don't know who you're speaking too but the pub I was in after they got deducted 10 points didn't have much sympathy for them
Speaking as a Liverpool fan I'd be laughing all summer if the blues5hite got relegated. All me mates who are reds want them down too.
We are a lesser club without those derbies to look forward to. Just look at how much hype there is around sunderland, Newcastle. Why would we want to wait 7 years between facing Everton
Would love to have a season where Everton win the Championship... As long as Liverpool win the Premier League the same season
Love this show, how are you in the 60's with eps, keep it up lads, nothing but the best. ❤
3 eps a week 👍
@@randomdaveUK erm yeah I know buddy, the point is how quickly its gone by. Its ok not to understand what i mean, we all come here to enjoy this epic show and thats what matters, football is always the winner. 👏
"you were a regular at hoofing it over the stands" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 amazing!!!! this made my day! :)))))
Get in, gonna be a fun hour. Love the longer videos, nice one lads!
An absolute joy to listen to, as always.
Micah's Barclays award....And his creosote award .. DIFFERENT CLASS
Perfect timing just finished work so time to watch this and relax!
I know you guys mentioned West Ham but for manager of the year I think David Moyes should get a shout out. Had a tough last season in the league but saw out a European trophy. Lost a key player in Rice and this season have beaten Chelsea, Arsenal (in the cup as well), UTD and Sp*rs (your 'big' teams). They've topped their group too in Europa and are currently 6th. And Bowen is playing great through the middle more recently so without a recognised out and out striker. Arsenal fan here.
lovin the split screen. more of that please.
pep as greatest coach of all time is hilarious. gave me a good laugh so thanks for that
Another great show, too easy not to love the banter, and of course the input. Here ya go how about if you 3 could pick a current Superteam of 11 plus 5 subs, who would you pick? Keep up the great work.
I just want to say that you guys make my day, you as a group are relaxed and naturally funny, with topics that are relatable, current. and past football discussions /cheers
Absolute peak Shearer banter ripping into Micah for best DEFENDER (singular) 😂 love it
Love the podcast guys & pls keep it going. Just one thing, Gary please sit on your hands 😀
Top drawer as usual fellas. Looking forward to more 👏
This podcast is simply the best football pod about by a long shot 👌 top class guys
Can't believe that you didn't create a section that Phil Foden should have won.
Absolutely love Micah's impression of Gary 🥰 beautiful
I think you needed another award either, the best newcomer to the PL or, the best new signing. Love the show!
Also.. Europa Confrence League was not West Ham's first European trophy. Our first was the Cup Winners Cup in 1965
This is my fave podcast along with overlap. You guys are brilliant please keep them coming I am a huge fan and never miss an episode always my after work evening and weekend entertainment. Thanks guys. I agree with those awards , what.a line up! love the insight and banter!
Brilliant show as always. West Ham has won two European Trophies they won the CWC back in 1965
For 2023, Luton are by far the biggest overachievers
You have a point, sir
Always listen with my old man! Two Liverpool fans also haha! Great listen gents. Love from Austria!
Love this keep them coming boys!
Rico Lewis definite young player of the year. Played well in some important games on city's 5 trophies . Rodri player of the year.
Great podcast this one boys 👏👏
Thanks guys….here’s to 2024 ⚽️🍾💥🙌🏻👏🏻♥️
Love these guys, love the show.
Another good show, ,great stuff👌🏼
What about Julien Alvarez for bursting onto the scene? scored 21 goals in 2023, won a treble. I guess you could argue his burst moment was the world cup.
Burst moment River Plate.
Scored six goals once.
Shocked that Moyes wasn't even considered for Manager of the Year.. granted, league performance wasn't great last year, but three seasons in a row in Europe, a European semi final followed by a European trophy the following year and consistently knocking on the doors of top 6 that's massive for West Ham and we've had supposedly world class managers who got nowhere near that at West Ham..
When did West Ham ever have a world class manager?
Because it’s based on the calendar year not previous achievements. Yes the euro cup was amazing and a great start this season after losing rice but signing quality players to replace him , but league form was terrible last season . I’m a West Ham fan by the way 😂
What about Jarod Bowan. What a bargain winning goal in Europe and 13 goals so far
I genuinely don't think these 3 know what they are speaking about sometimes there is a heap of player for each section who don't get a mention because they aren't a big enough name or palying for Newcastle if your sheerer.
I think when I kept putting west ham Harry reminded them about the Quiet progress of West Ham
@@jeebus-br7mo i always think that too whenever pundits go in depth talking about players from around europe and its like, are they really sitting there focusing on an individual player for 90 minutes? or are they just repeating the common narratives going around the league..just like im convinced that william saliba is the best defender in the prem but ive never actually watched him play a whole match
Not West Hams first European Trophy: Cup Winners Cup in 1965.
You just can't help but love Micah!
These videos, should be in the millions. for views!
I'm a Liverpool fan but for manager of the year runner up how has Moyes not had a mention ? Europa league conference winners and currently 6th in the prem with a team which on paper isn't amazing. Terrific job over the past 12 months.
I'd agree there and he has to deal with his own fans calling for his job every season when they have a rough patch .absolutely superb manager
Probably the only manager they've had in 59 years ,where you could say "that's a West Ham style of play"
Fourth biggest Spenders behind Man United, Chelsea and Man City last season
@@Matt-ur3dm What's your point ?
@@Matt-ur3dm they sold Rice, not an issue.
The shows are coming out fast!
I do love the uploads where they forget to blank out the swearing 🤣
Another upload! Gents, you're on fire
17 year old Lewis Miley should have won the BURST onto the scene award. 21 year old Cole Palmer is featuring in his 4th PL season... he's been on the scene for years.
Best football podcast
You should have put Kane in to see if the dance would’ve held up 🤣🤣 great show as always lads 👍
Allison vs Ederson are two very different keepers. Ones an amazing one on one keeper, the other is amazing at playing from the back.
Alan's comment about the creosote🤣
Must be nice for Pep.
Unlimited funds and unwavering support from the owners that are actually present.
Micah sounded like Stephen A. Smith for a few secs, passionate 😂
Brighton not getting a mention for overachievers? Getting into Europe for the first time in their history and then topping the hardest group, and in contention for Europe again this year
Keep it up lads , totally enjoy your podcasts.
BRIGHTON!!!!!!!….. I mean I should be used to this by now but we never get a mention… finished 6th last year, despite losing our manager and some coaching staff mid season, got to Europa for first time in clubs history and finished top of the hardest group… deserves a mention in the overachieving category surely
You’re not the only overachievers thiugh
Agreed. Yes there were other candidates but not to be honourably mentioned, let alone nominated, was ludicrous.
When I was a kid a played for a team which competed in a league which the trophy was gifted by Big Al which was his golden boot! We won it twice and finished second on goal difference the third year some team we had
When they were discussing the best overseas player, is quite strange how they came up with Viktor Osimens name, instead of Kvaratchkelia, kvara was named player of the seria A , I think he deserves more recognition!
Bbc arsenal vs Liverpool game, Gary and Alan bring the podcast vibe finally to BBC
3 episodes in 3 days. Christmas came late, but it's arrived!
Virgil Van Bike. Think Al’s been on the ol Brown Ale for pre pod drinks 😂
Awesome show gents. Would have liked you to add pundit of the year award😂
Great show 😎
Micah with his savers plus account lol
Finally someone talking about captains of the world doc ❤
Mainoo has played a handful of games!! Ferguson having a quiet spell but should be nominated before Miley & Mainoo
While I agree pep guardiola is a good manager, he's never brought a team from low level to high level, he's always inherited great teams
Man of the watch Michah kills me😅😅😅
Such are the positions on the pitch nowadays, I think the prizes for positions should be divided in: GK, center barck, full back, midfielder, winger and center forward.
42:00 can't believe you put wolves and Bournemouth in your overachievers category over Brighton..Not a Brighton fan btw defo admire what they done at a small club wish my club was doing what there doing lol
The very fact Douglas luiz isn’t even mentioned is funny 🤣
Micah shows his man of the match award for villa against city. Cole Palmer also has a man of the match award for Chelsea against city. And that is what you call bursting onto the scene!
Not a Brighton fan but surely Evan Ferguson has to be the breakthrough player if we're talking the whole of 2023?
Over Mainoo????? How can a hat trick against Newcastle beat having a good game against Everton, let's not be silly here.
@@kriissyy09ifymainoo has played a few games and he’s your breakthrough player? Bajcetic played half a season, Branthwaite has to get it for me.
Think @@oClxssy showed a tad of sarcasm there mate. But, you're more than entitled to believe a good game against Everton beats a hat trick against Newcastle. Also agree Bajcetic did more than Mainoo, but people forget that.
For the longer part of the Liverpool and Tottenham matches I've seen. Salah and Son has been the furthest up top. So if you wanna define them as midfielders then I guess both teams play without forwards..
Salah plays almost exclusively out wide. Hugs the touchline. You’re just making things up.
not only is Zabaleta living rent free in Micah's head,he's moved Kyle Walker in to keep him company 🤣 and the winner in the best voice over category for a TV car selling advert award for 2023 goes to Micah Richards 😄
What kind of podcast is this? No fix schedule? 😂😂😂😂 Anyway enjoy this so much and learn a lot as well. Greetings from Malaysia. 6 pm here now.
The bursting on to the scene award is a great improvement over young player. Someone like Vardy who made a splash later in life could win it then!
I wanted to hear about Alan's new year 😂
Creosote awards. Brilliant lads 👍🏻
Dont forget Ancelotti changed Pirlo into the deeplying player. Moved Zidane into the 10 role. Also improved multiple "average players" at Everton and Napoli
Strangely though ,he was in charge when his team lost a CL final ,after the opposing captain sparked a comeback with a headed goal.....and was in charge when his team lost a CL semi ..... after the opposing captain sparked a comeback with a.....headed goal.
@@colloquialsoliloquy6391 yeah, almost as if all top managers have lost a big game at some point
I rate Ancelotti, but one thing thrown at pep is he's never done anything at a club like Aberdeen....
Ancelotti while at Everton wasn't terrible but he wasn't anything special as far as I remember. It's the best recent example of a top class manager in that kind of situation. I'm not saying pep would win the league at Everton. Just that kind of achievement seems to be the only metric for some people when it comes to managerial greatness.
@@NECinho I think mourinho at porto was more impressive but I get your point.
Ancelotti's time at Everton isn't rated as highly as it should be, they were second at Christmas until the injuries hit, and he has the second highest win % of any of their managers since Howard Kendall (who had their most successful team).
But there's things to be said about the different type of challenges of managing a top team.
@@hunsler1006 personally I think the pep thing is just thrown at him to discredit his achievements by people that aren't looking at things objectively.
He started at Barca with the reserves, then took over the first team taking on one of the most high pressure jobs in football. From there he did well at bayern but didn't win the European cup and then turned a very good city team into the best team in the world. What's he supposed to do say, right well I don't want bayern or city because some bloke on the Internet thinks I should manage some mid table team in England or wherever?
Ferguson, mourinho, pep, klopp, ancelotti all fantastic managers with success. For me pep's the best but it's just an opinion.
You know the weird one for me is Zidane, three European cups as a manager *one league title but was that just right place right time? Is he one of the all time greats? Why is he not managing now? Personal choice. I guess.
*Sorry two league titles.
Sorry that fence not dance 🤣🤣
Alan on form today 😂😂😂
That bloody garnacho goal, one of the most operated goals of all time along with Rooneys shinner, no coincidence who both play for...
Oh stop. The Rooney shin got too much attention but Garnacho's overhead was precision and he had to take a step back to even get it.
Stop with the "of course, it's Man United." It's boring and ridiculous.
Once a Gunner , always a Gunner 😂ain’t that right Micah? 😂
For me, Pep can never be the Best Coach Ever until he coaches a team that isn’t the best funded in the league. Pep might’ve had influence in tactics, but if you watch Arteta, you’ll see that they have their limits when you can’t just buy more players if the ones you have don’t fit exactly. Ancelotti adapts his tactics to what he has, anyone can play like him. Any team can play like Klopp, you don’t need the best players in the world to do it, Klopp certainly didn’t at Dortmund and his first Liverpool team.
Love the show and episode but where was the young player of the year award?
Micah Hamilton may have burst unto the scene but Micah Richards did burst out of his seams.
I love micahs passion😂😂❤
David Moyes
how is Mac Allister's goal against Fulham not in contention for goal of the year?
outstanding goal easily top 3 for 2023
Goal of the year was over as soon as that garnacho goal hit the back of the net
I have to wonder if they forgot Rico Lewis? Came in start of the year and by end of it has even made the England setup. Lads not on list for young player with likes of some of those names
Which Martinez is Micah on about? thought he was talking about Lautaro Martinez but it sounds more like he's saying Lortillo Martinez
'How is your arse?'
Quote to beat for 2024
First time ive seen somebody put Ederson above Alisson this year!
Gary, leave your hooter alone ffs 😂
😂 😂 always isn’t it..
@@AriesAdams-rb5lh It was a particularly bad hooter day today 😂
Watkins in the list for player of the year, who did he bribe to get there?
He’s not once in the player of the month this season or last, 7th in the list of goal scorers, he has got joint top assists, however the other top is Salah who has 50% more goals. Son and Salah are both definitely better. Rashford even managed more player of the month awards than Watkins has!
49:51 best English player, Kalvin Phillips! Haha 😂
On a serious note, i think Jude Bellingham is the best English player atm.
Micah has about 4 stories and 3 of them are about Zabaleta
If richards' had zabas mentality he'd have been one of the best right back in the world. Physically he had so much potential. Preferred clowning around on city TV than focusing on his game. Shame really.
Whet a way to start a friday!!!
Lazy journalism not putting Ezri Konsa in the best defender shouts, Villa are 2nd to only man City in the calendar year and he's a standout performer
For all of 2023 & not just this season?
@@thebigmacmoomin yes, for all of 2023
can we get a count for how many times gary touches his nose
liverpool having the most clean sheets surprised me to be fair
Shearer on smoke today
Glad they picked walker over trent for fullback. I hate how he’s never talked about as much when he literally is england’s best defender rn
