Dracula Untold clearly shows the most powerful vampire in cinema history. Vlad The Impaler was just learning how to be a vampire, and look at the devastation he could unleash. That was back in the 1460s against Mehmed II...now imagine how powerful he has become almost 600 years later when he meets Mina in the modern times. This movie deserves a sequel damn it..
Low key dracula untold ending was so much identical to jack the giant slayer ending not even gonna lie they both end their last scenes in modern times for a sequel to be continued knowing they both start in the dark ages in the beginning of these 2 movies lol
Yes it is and Dracula would be able to defeat Selene in Underworld. Sorry, but he has more powers than she does. He could just easily cover the sky with dark storm clouds. In a head to head fight, no weapons of any kind, he would just tear her apart.
@@cainabel6356yeah idk about that. It’s a great movie. But selen is sick and sexy af. He’s weak against light and silver so that gives her some weapons to use against him.
@@cainabel6356 He was rather new though. The power described like being as fast as a shooting star and stronger as a 100 men is pretty insane. Given enough sequels he could be on this list as second if not for the mortality bit unless he developed further and is immune.
@@CountChocula-on9ix Except that the Master Vampire said he would give Dracula a taste of his powers. That taste could have been the full set for a time, then reducing over a longer period. We don't know that he could get any more powerful than he was at that point.
The reason Dracula from Van Helsing could use werewolves to do his bidding is because he (and vampires in general in the classical miths) have control over all the creatures of the night, wich includes werewolves.
Van Hellsing also was the only movie where they made werewolves actually look like man wolf beasts, not some weird mutant thing, they actually had the face of a wolf and a body of a beast, very well done.
I freaking hate it when movies make werewolves look like regular wolves but just bigger in size. Werewolves can run on all fours but also be bipedal if they choose to. Van Helsing has by far the best werewolves in any movies.
In my opinion the Master Vampire from Dracula Untold trumps all the other vampires on this list. According to his story in the film, before he was a vampire he summoned a demon from Hell to bestow his powers onto him, so he was turned into the first vampire (albeit being tricked and cursed into never being able to leave his cave unless he turned someone else into a vampire). This means that he is essentially as powerful as a demon. He also tells Vlad that he will receive only a "taste" of his power before turning him, and we all saw how much devastation Vlad caused in the film alone...
But did he say a taste of his power to make Vlad (and prior vampire creations) afraid to attack the Master. A ruse to ensure, none of his creations would try to kill him for his full powers.
I think Akasha, the real Akasha character not the garbage film is the only Vampire who could take Untold. The only way to take her down is by overpowering her, and draining her to the very last drop, and drawing in the demon spirit who possess her. And she moves Selene fast, and flies much much faster, but unfortunately we have to go buy to garbage tier film so there's that.
The flip on that is, Vlad might be the demon in human form that gave the master his power & trapped him in order to become human or some other reason. The master implied twice it's a game between them. And coincidence master arrives in NY same time as Vlad meets reincarnated Mina?
I still think Vlad the Impaler is the strongest BUT he's basically a rookie in Dracula Untold but I also think once he gained more experience and more years(like his post credit), he will be the strongest.
@@EC-dz4bq What's the connection with Russia to my comment? It's a young Dracula himself not some lower tier like Lestat or modern vampire like Selene.
@@vjxconcur4864 it depends on which version because some vampire versions are lazy as hell in which they wouldn't try to improve their skills because they're thinking they're so Almighty.
Good list. I'd be tempted to put Dracula from Untold a bit higher over Selene, but Roxburgh's Dracula in Van Helsing was pretty unstoppable so it's hard to argue with that placement. Roxburgh got panned by critics as over the top, but I really liked it, especially the way he could flip from despair to rapture, from apparently being loving to being utterly heartless in the blink of an eye. One of my favourite Dracula scenes ever is Roxburgh's, where Van Helsing shoved a Crucifix between them, and without missing a beat Dracula just grabs it, ignites it, then melts it, all the while screaming with a look of pure agony as molten metal pours over his hand. Then he just drops what's left and calmly starts talking again like it never happened. Suave and terrifying.
@@mahlatsemodiba7585 - Speaking of hate towards a Vampire Movie, I was kind of surprised that there were none of the Cullen family on this list - although it is kind of difficult to pinpoint who is the strongest, since there is so much variety in their powers. My first reflex was Emmett because he literally has the highest physical strength, he is literally a tank, but then like Selene, Edward has superior speed, I also thought about Carlisle but I actually don't even remember his unique abilities, I think I just like him as a strong contender because he is the Sire of the family, but no real data to go on. Then there is the Volturi, they seem to be pretty damn strong all of them, and then with Bellas Shield ability effectively blocking any other Vampires power from harming her also makes her in the running as really strong plus her being a newborn gives her strength that even overpowers Emmett. So yeah it's so difficult to figure out how to separate out all the diverse powers to determine which one of that franchise would be the strongest, but I still think it would come down to a toss up between Emmett and Edward. :)

Out of all the vampire movies ever made, in my opinion, Gary Olman's performance in Bram Stoker's Dracula is the most believable, with the best acting and vampiric origin.
Dracula in Van Helsing is by far my favorite. Dude played it so well, and the movie did a good job of showcasing vampire powers. Though why he couldn't always do the high speed movements isn't explained, but I guess it would just be too hard to write for.
Agreed. Although Lestat always has a place in my heart. And I do think that in the original story, even Laura doesn't know if Carmilla, the lesbian vampire who lusted for her, was very strong or not, but she always lamented that Carmilla had a strange draw and glow in her eyes. A hidden sign of self-assurance or incredible physical power and strength in a tight body, even self-confidence could be seen as a powerful weapon in the 1800s. This, in the modern day, we'd just simply call "Gay Pride", but back then, in the 1800s, they didn't have that saying. However, it could be said that Carmilla survived along with her vampire "mother" and that she managed to make it out and ended up fleeing the country being pursued by hunters. I say this because I recently re-read the story, and it is a great classic even if a bit dry, but Laura said something after her father returned from killing Carmilla, in saying that she didn't fully believe her father due to the fact he didn't seemingly believe it himself. He knew who Carmilla was and who she looked like. He would know if he staked her and cut off her head or not. Maybe it was due to her grief of not trying to stop them from killing her lover. Maybe it was her vampire "Mother" who, Carmilla privately told Laura looked a lit like her, saved her and in turn gave up her own undead life for Carmilla. I could see that also being true. That idea that lingered in Laura's mind, the idea that Carmilla has only gotten stronger and is still, when Laura re-tells the story at an old age (even though 40 is not old now), is still alive and even stronger now. It's obvious even at 'old' age Laura never forgot about Carmilla.
The guy nailed what he was given but Dracula was so poorly written in Van Helsing. Seriously that final fight showed absolutely zero survival instinct and almost no ability to fight. Dude got mauled and everytime he had the upper hand he just wanted to walk up to Van Helsing really slow to have a monologue. Then he'd have to try and fly away within half a second as Van Helsing transformed back into the wolf and tried to kill him.. happened multiple times and I just kept wondering when he was going to learn. Spoiler, he didn't and that's exactly how he ended up dying.
The problem with Akasha is that she was defeated so easily by the twins, it was very frustrating to me, but she was defeated and the twins absorbed the core of Amel and thus avoided dying when Akasha died. Also the Aliens helped Lestat and the others to keep the vampiric powers without the core of Amel so now they are free from Amel. But still Dracula untold would be more powerful because he has more magical powers than the rest of these vampires.
@@PaintedMoonBlue I read the book back in the day. I don't remember aliens. And why aliens when you have the supernatural scurrying about everywhere in her "world"?
Vlad from Dracula Untold was an awesome vampire. Though in the entire vampire supernatural universe, my two favorite vampires is 2 - Alucard from Netflix Castlevania. 1 - Alucard from Hellsing.
The elder vampire Kain from Legacy of Kain is perhaps the most powerful vampire in all vampire lore (that I know of anyway), but maybe only if he has his signature weapon with him, the Soul Reaver--the Soul Reaver being a bastard sword with a serpentine blade and a vampire's skull centered in the cross guard. The sword's base form absorbs the blood of enemies and feeds some of it to the wielder, which by itself makes Kain nearly unbeatable. When later events happen, it also tears the very soul out of enemies and consumes them, trapping them within the blade, which means True Death for just about anything, often this occurs in a single blow when an enemy is struck with this version of the Reaver. Even later events give Kain the ability to call on vampiric magic through the Reaver and make enemies temporarily fight each other in a fit of mindless rage, engulf a vast area around him in magical flames, hit multiple enemies through (and instantly warp through) dimensions, channel and control powerful bolts of magical lightning, or just a wide area blast of pure vampiric magical force (usually enough to stun/kill outright even very powerful demonic foes). It even later receives a final enhancement that bestows True Sight on the wielder, and allows the sword to damage an Elder God, feasibly to the point he could kill it, though that hasn't happened in the story so far (he merely defeated the Elder God, but left it alive, but trapped under a collapsed vampire citadel/skyscraper). Even without the Reaver Kain has had access to extremely powerful vampire abilities, including super strength, high resilience, transforming into swarms of bats at will, transforming into a werewolf at will, transforming into a cloud of mist at will (that allows him to walk on water and through bars/gates), teleportation (shown for short distances only so far), heightened senses, telekinesis (powerful enough to toss around multiple foes at once, and wrap enemies in telekinetic shackles for a time, allowing him to attack them freely), super speed, and limited Sanguimancy (blood magic) that allows him to--at a distance--suck the blood out of wounded foes to directly nourish himself. He also has a very keen mind, able to see through many enemy plots and scheme ways to outmaneuver fate itself (which had designs for him to eventually die and let the world fall into permanent ruination), though to be fair he did put several centuries of thought into that particular dilemma. He's also the Scion of Balance, which might grant him more inherent abilities than most other vampires get to enjoy. Vampires sired by him also eventually go through a period of metamorphosis during which they enter a hibernation-like state for a time and then emerge with new physical and/or magical abilities/traits, some of which are passed down to any vampires they sire in some capacity. Kain typically goes through this process first, and then other vampires do so after him (though this point is rendered moot by the end of the series, where he is left as the last known living vampire). He also initially acquired and utilized even more (in some cases) reality breaking vampire magic when he was still a (unreasonably powerful) fledgling vampire. This included being able to at will do such things as flaying distant enemies at, spreading a flesh-eating pestilence that devoured foes in seconds, calling on a magic-repelling shield, call upon a magical illumination (harmless to undead) that affects the entire visible area around him, instantly travel back to his crypt for respite, call upon a spell of enmity similar to that which the Reaver later bestows, stun humans for a long duration allowing him to freely feed upon them, render targets completely immobile for a time (works on inhuman enemies as well), cast a bolt made from his own blood at a foe that would then drain their blood back into him, control the minds of individual humans for as long as he wants and after he returns to his own body they die, a very powerful spell that allowed him to feed on 4 foes at once regardless of whether they were already wounded and any others caught in the area of effect die outright, another powerful vampire spell to tear a creature's soul from their body which instantly kills anything other than powerful demons (which usually die in two hits from this rather than 1), and another spell that is later granted by the Reaver which allows him to call down several bolts of lightning to kill everyone in his vicinity, another mind control spell that works on non-humans as well as humans and also shoves their souls out of their bodies which kills them when he leaves their body...and then he later gains some vampiric abilities from consuming the souls of other powerful vampires, the most notable of which is probably the Immolation spell, which calls down a searing blast of magical fire not unlike those you'd find in a blast furnace, which can burn all but the most powerful creatures to ash in an instant. Hellsing Alucard is pretty powerful, too, but Soul Reaver is kinda OP.
This video really discounted how strong Selene is. After Blood wars she basically turned into a goddess moving at lightning fast speed, being able to take out dozens of lycan within a matter of seconds and ripping out an enhanced Werewolf's spine with ease.
@@dartherus Vlad would probably be her biggest issue but she could definitely take out Blade with ease. @@ThePartisan13 females are weaker by nature, that's the point I'm trying to show. For instance, Venus Williams was beaten badly in Tennis by a player ranked 203 at ATP, who had been drinking and smoking the whole morning, while playing golf. Same with the women US NT team, beaten badly by an U15 team from Dallas. I mean, I'm aware these are movies, but sometimes they exaggerate women strength beyond suspension of disbelief.

Woman are precious because they are DIFFERENT (not inferior) to men.
I'd love to see an analysis of the Being Human series, both UK and US version. A vampire, Werewolf and Ghost living together seems like a good fit for this channel
I agree with the Van Helsing Dracula being in the number one spot, but Van Helsing/Gabriel didn't have the time limit because after that Dracula would control him. There was a time limit because after midnight there would be no way to heal Van Helsing/Gabriel from the curse anymore. Edit: GREAT list by the way. I think it's about time I watch the Underworld movies. The scenes you have shown look awesome.
In the movie it is implied that Dracula can indeed mindcontrol werewolves. It is in that hybrid stage of transformation (beetween Werewolf/Man) that Dracula cannot use those powers. So yes, there is only that time limit for Van Helsing to kill him... because if he does become a full werewolf, he looses his mental resistance to Dracula.
Dracula has always had the ability to control the creatures of the night. That is part of the mythos. The issue is that werewolves were extremely difficult to control on their first moon transformation. The second part has to do with a strong willed. The only reason why Vanhelsing and the others were wanting to quickly defeat Dracula was because after midnight of the first transformation, Vanhelsing would be cursed forever as a werewolf. The cure only works before midnight.
@@kadecoleman4104 Thanks Man I became a channel member on this channel that's how I got the cool skull badge by my name and if I made a top 5 vampires from TV shows my list would go in no particular order 1 Warlow from True Blood 2 Vanessa Van Helsing from Van Helsing 3 Angel from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel 4 Klaus from The Vampire Diaries and The Originals 5 Dracula from Castlevania
from tv, the first ones coming to mind for me are the Mikaelson siblings and their father from Vampire Diaries/Originals. No other vampire in the world was above them in power until Lucien drank that special potion, and that wasn't until season 3(I think) in The Originals. The other big deal would be Lilith in True Blood; another that like Akasha is basically on the level of being a deity.
@@The3rdTurd I always go back forth on who is more powerful between Lilith and Warlow from True Blood , I mean Warlow did manage to kill her but that was because he caught her off guard killing her in her sleep so I've always wondered if Lilith and Warlow had a battle which one of them would actually come out on top
Selene was able to defeat Marcus only after drinking Alexander's blood. That enhanced her powers. You can see that after drinking she was immune to sunlight.
Just a footnote here and spoiler warning for the books! Akasha's ability to burn the vampires was not pyrokinesis. It was inherently tied to her ability to manipulate the Vampires, a skill she taught to Lestat later as she kept increasing him via multiple blood bonding sessions to her. It wouldn't have worked on humans not that a human stands a chance against even an everynight Anne Rice Vampire. It has been quite a few years so if anyone read it more recently and I mixed something up let me know. :)
The pyrokinetics in the books came from an attempt to kill Akasha and her mate, they were rolled out into the sunlight. They simply darkened while every vamp in their bloodline roasted (not all died, but all burned).
@@Graypaws That's not what she was doing when she started roasting the vamps at the bar. If you think back, it's a thing she teaches Lestat, something about reaching inside the Rice Vampires and touching a special point with some type of mental pressure. Remember she needed his help dealing with one of the oldest ones, who had been running his own blood cult and was too strong for her to completely burn alone.
Akasha could litterally will it for a younger vampire to die. The only reason it doesn't work on the other vampires was because all of them were almost the same age as her i.e. from ancient Egipt
It comes with age or as a result of being empowered by the blood of a powerful elder. When they direct their power at the blood of a vampire, the blood ignites and thus, the vampire goes up in flames. It is true that because Enkil and Akasha were the first, when an Elder pushed them into the sunlight, they tanned while literally every other vampire went boom. The oldest survived while the fledglings died.
Akasha is faster than you think. In the books she takes Lestat literally halfway around the world in a matter of minutes. This feat alone puts her anywhere from 13,000 mph(if it took her a full 60 minutes) to 390,000 mph(if it only took 2 minutes). Either way, far faster than 60 mph.
She could actually teleport. Lestat narrates mentally in the books over it. He's wildly fast himself, and describes how he knows she's not just moving faster, she's literally teleporting. Also, they're running around with the equivalent of Celerity 9 (from the TTRPG by White Wolf).
@@dustinwilson4815 It's been a good 10 years since I read Queen of the Damned so I don't remember the teleporting, but I remembered she was extremely fast even compared to Lestat.
Selenes' jump form the church tower is in my opinion one of the most badass high landings in movies, literally just tucks her legs a bit to cushion the blow ( my theory is that was to stop the concrete cracking not to stop the fall from hurting her) and just strolls off, i used to do parkour and any fall over 1 story I would roll out of to protect my knees this is insane, and as a first display really shows how much more durable than a human these vampires are as i expect a fall from that height would probably result in the person looking more like jelly than a human
@narkomancers5262I’ll put it like this. I think because of their time jump they do, they don’t get much stronger. Remember they sleep for 200 years while the one rules. So I think that could be a reason plus her combat style is better than Marcus’s because he’s not much of a modern warrior as she is & she’s 600 years old, Marcus being older slept most of his time after they captured William.
@Narkomancers Note that it was a fight between speed knowledge and strength. Marcus turned Viktor for how fearsome he was, and Viktor sired Selene. The series clarified that Alexander is the greatest of all time since he can leave as a human and as a vampire at its very best. Therefore, Selene was more fit to win. And remember, Selene was the first vampire to ever kill an elder(Viktor) and for how she was trained.
Van Helsing wouldn't be put under Dracula's control, if he didn't destroy him by midnight. He had until midnight to receive the werewolf cure or the curse would become permanent.

I believe in Van Helsing the Werewolves could only resist Dracula's influence until their first full moon after turning passed, which was why Van Helsing had to kill him before the full moon ended that night.
I am leaning towards Vlad being the number 2, and that is only because of Dracula's Indicability. It seems he is able to overcome a lot of his weaknesses (like the sun). Vlad was basically immune to fire as he too walked out of a burning building and healed instantly, could move stupid fast when he wasn't fully developed, can easily make as many vampires as he wanted etc. I'd probally put Saline as 4. he seems slightly better then blade in ablity.
@@niketesambrosiosdelagrece2266 not necessarily. Underworld had werewolves that were on par with Van Helsing. Also, dog soldiers werewolves made an SAS squad their play things for a night. So there’s some contenders out there. Personally I think the underworld werewolves are the strongest, as they have control over themselves and their transformations. They also appear to not be controllable by the vampires and their bites are still lethal to the matter. Rise of the Lycans depicts them having a similar form to the wolves in Van Helsing too, so there’s no reason why they also couldn’t have killed Dracula, assuming the window of free will existed.
@@Synysterjmz Power aside, the Van Helsing werewolf is, in my opinion, the very best looking the industry ever made. It was more like the werewolves from the White Wolf game than any other.

I am thrilled to see both Dracula Untold and Van Helsing on this list, because they are some of my favorite vampire movies and I feel as if everyone always shits on them. I also appreciate your kudos to Queen of the Damned and how perfect Akasha was. It's another movie that gets a lot of hate for being a poor adaptation, but as someone who just views it as another vampire movie and not as the chronicles, I also really love it. WE NEED MORE VAMPIRE FILMS DAMNIT!!!! Great list brother, I am pleased to say I have all but Akasha in my own personal home collection, will be adding her this weekend...
In my opinion, I think Vlad (Dracucla Untold) is placed a bit too low. I would place him above both Selene amd Akasha. But, only for a less broad reason: The truly vast potential that he, as the first official vampire (the 'master vampire' is more like a demon), had going forward. It REALLY sucks that the sequels weren't made so that we could see just how strong he could have gotten. He was THE Vlad the Impaler, after all. Literally another version of Dracula from Van Helsing. He and Clark Kent in Man of Steel are similar: both being tossed into the fray so suddenly and having to learn how to effectively use a particular set of abilities/powers. We just won't ever get to see Vlad's true potential.
I almost agreed with you but he had some pretty damning weaknesses. More then anyone on this list. Silver, sunlight, AND his armor disintegrated from a wooden stake!?! I mean come on lol
@@micahelvereen6651 He blocked out the sun tho , willfully at that, and I think we can both acknowledge that he wanted to die at that point..we both watched the film..right
Yup that's why I love Untold like Man of Steel both have potential to have a great and memorable trilogy if only their studio didn't salivated to that shared universe pie that MCU had. And yes the Silver in Untold was basically his Kryptonite like Superman in BvS.
@@micahelvereen6651 That's why I'm specifically talking about his potential. His ceiling was very high when we notate what he accomplished in, Im guessing, just a few days in the movie. The difference between Vlad and the others is that Vlad has an actual curse-- much closer to the original vampire curse. Everyone else seems to be closer to "Immortals with fangs" , except Blade. We both saw what Akasha actually IS right? Aliens-- really? Lmao Vlad just needed, at least, another movie. 😔😭
@@ane6160 Exactly. Being able to control the weather has its perks. Also, I would argue that the reason his armor was so susceptible to the wooden stake was because Vlad himself was already drastically weakened at that point. It would be like Superman having to fight someone while surrounded by kryptonite, getting beat up, and then almost getting impaled by a broken piece of the stuff.

What about Gary Oldman's Dracula? Dude can turn into dust, swarms of rats or bats, shapeshift, as strong as 20 men or more, resistant to sunlight, and has a level of compelling mind control.
The clothing has always been my main gripe with movie vampires. Like Akasha. She was so old that she became as white and as hard as marble. This is how she was mistaken for a statue. But, her clothes wouldn't turn to marble. She would look like a statue wearing normal clothes and jewelry. Same goes for vampires who get burned or stabbed or otherwise wounded. Their clothes would be destroyed no matter how strong their healing abilities are. A vampire that walks through fire would emerge naked.
In the case of the the Van Helsing vampires it looks like their clothes are just modified flesh. So it kinda makes sense that they could mend their clothes. It's peculiar though because this would imply that they are also capable of full fledged shapeshifting.
How do you forget the Twilight Vampires? They had marble skin and they all had special powers. They could also walk in sunlight. For a dumb vampire series, they're kinda op tho.
They’re super fast and even a weakened one is capable of tossing a minivan the length of a football field. Damn near indestructible and bullets just bounce off them. The books do a far better job of describing and showing their abilities than the movies and I can’t see them losing to pretty much any live action vampire.
An interesting one would be top 5 vampires from Buffy. I think a lot of people underestimate how powerful some of those vampires were because Buffy has sometimes ridiculous supernatural abilities herself.
Spike is more straight to action with bit humour angelus was far more evil he would straight up torture his victims and play mind games he even sent drusilla into insanity
The strange thing about Buffy was that her powers seemed to vary. It seemed, the stronger the enemy, the stronger she became. Sometimes she struggled with one enemy, and then later on she struggled the same amount against someone much stronger. It also seemed that her strength weren't that big if she were not fighting. Maybe it had something to do with adrenaline? I can not remember her ever showing any unusual strength in her day to day life. I seem to vaguely remember it once was stated that a fledgling vampire had the strength of 3 men. And that an average Master vampire had the strength of 3 fledglings. So when fighting she obviously were very strong. Fighting up to five or six fledglings at the same time on occasion. And about that top 5. Poor Spike would fall outside that list. No matter how much he claimed to be a badass, he was weak compared to The Master, Dracula, Kakistos, Lothos and Angel. He may have thought he could overpower Angel, but nothing would be further from the truth. Angel never went beast mode whenever the two of them fought. He felt too guilty for being his grandsire. And that one time he wouldn't back down and we saw a portion of his strength, Spike was helpless.
I haven't watched Queen of the Damned lately, but I remember they nerfed Akasha. They may have hinted at some of her power, but didn't really depict it like the books. She has the strength, speed, senses, and durability of some weaker versions of Superman, plus telepathy and telekinesis. In the books, her pyrokinesis is not limited to her general vicinity; she immolated ancient, powerful vampires on the other side of the Earth. She's more or less immune to sunlight and fire, and good luck finding a weapon strong enough to decapitate her. Tearing out her heart is probably the only way to kill her.
Selene is a lot stronger then you think. She was strong enough to rip out a Lycan/Vampire hybrid's spine while getting beat up. Marcius was clearly stronger but Selene was more than enough to kill him. I'm pretty sure she could at least top Akasha in combat.
Marcus became a hybrid to get his wings otherwise he woulda tore victor apart instead of allowing 3 way rule when his bro got bagged then sentenced to imprisonment 4 all time as victor put it. Plus Selena also got her enhancement from corvinus head at end rest of time was getting her ass handed to her as they ran from him
Yes not to mention how she evolved in blood wars making her seem she could teleport but she was just moving extremely fast even faster for a aged vampire she would definitely trump akasha.
but how strong was selene in the first movie; if we're being fair, the first movie should be all that matters, if we judge by that, selene would be out of top 5, probably even top 10; she had 4 movies to develop her powers on top of another 600 years of experience, while vlad had half a movie at most; with all else being equal, vlad is probably stronger than akasha and maybe even dracula from van helsing
This video was amazing, I totally agree that Dracula from the Van Helsing move is the strongest vampire in movies, because his vampiric powers comes from Lucifer aka The Devil, which means he has some badass demonic powers to go with his vampire powers.
Man van helsing was insanely well made, that warewolf looks soo fing good and real for that old of a movie. I dont understand why they lack so much doing CGI these days.
The CGI still hold up very well too i just watched it again not too long ago and the transformation(s) from dragula and warewolf are damn good always gets me hyped when they both fight in the end
@@victorurbina1558 agreed, my favorit is the wolf, theres no other warewolf ive ever seen on tv screen that looks so perfect, they actually made it look super realistic, frightening and cute at the same time.
You forgot to mention that Celine is also very hot, causing the blood of male enemies gather at a certain body part and thus weakening the remaining ones 😉
“Outsmarting Blade is like outsmarting Constantine; GOOD LUCK” lmaooo, very very true. Both are highly intelligent and tend to be several steps ahead of those around them
Man you and me are alike! Van Helsing is my jam bro! I’ve always thought it was ahead of it’s time! The graphics are still to this day great!! Appreciate your fondness of a classic vamp werewolf movie! 👌👌
As a fan of Mel Brooks, "Dracula Dead and Loving It" was garbage. Laughs were VERY few and far between..saw it in the drive-in and was quite disappointed. But 🤷🏻♂️.. different strokes, different folks! Leslie Nielsen was alright in it, though. I liked the ending how he's defeated, too😆.. that was alright.
So I think the strongest Vampire I’ve seen is Alucard for Helsin unlimited anime/manga I can’t think of much stronger with maybe your third place (from the books) but it’s possible that Lastat based on his power his passion and his experience could be on par with her. I mean when you see Alucard at full release it really makes you wonder how the hell they managed to trap him in the first place.
Janos Skorzeny, the vampire from the original TV movie: "The Night Stalker" was so superhumanly strong that the entire Las Vegas police dept was unequipped to stop him. Check it out.
For me my favourite vampire movie is by far Bram Stokers DRACULA who was played by Gary Oldman, he could literally turn into a wolf or bat or rat or even green mist, control people and even the weather, why wasn't the Original and best version of Stokers book made into a oscar winning movie used here, he should of been as DRACULA is for me the KING of his kind and put Vampires on the MAP! 🧛♂️
Dracula is only the first vampire in some stories. Many more tales have vampires that came long before him (or he doesn't exist in their worlds), so it's down to opinions really.
I love your breakdowns in Monsters movie history. This one was amazing. But I want to bring to the Forefront one that I felt deserved a spot on the list even if not the best. But definitely strong and also from a movie. A animated movie that you may have heard of called Vampire Hunter D bloodlust. The vampire's name is Meyer link. I'm not sure how to spell his name, but he is definitely worth watching this movie. He went the entire movie without feeding on his bride who was a human that he fell in love with. He was still strong enough to withstand walking in the hot sun that was burning him and even took Arrow shots to the knees. He was even split in half completely but managed to bring his entire body back together and Save the Day. He's more like an anti villain even though he's not the hero of the movie he was kind of the hero it's a good watch. There's also a Wolfman and it that's pretty interesting for that his entire torso can change into a werewolf mouth
Akasha can actually teleport. She is also not a 'pyro' she has so called "Blood Magic" and as she is the 'source' she has the power to compel the blood to burn, only works on vamps as shown in the film. She also identified the smell of a vampire she met for only a few minutes, over a century before, in a crowded club, and Lestat had not been there for days after saving Jessie.
@@willn8664 Anytime you have a character that’s so powerful that if they died, their entire species would die with them, belongs at the #1 spot on this list
Yes, Akasha in the book was, by far, the most powerful vampire ever written in the genre. She could kill them anywhere on Earth, because she could enter their minds anywhere on the planet. In fact, for millennia, Akasha and her husband traveled the world through astral means and watched and learned what was happening. Almost nothing could even harm her. Bullets bounced off, and even if they could cause a scratch, it would instantly heal. The only vampires she could not insta-kill were the ones she let drink from her, or the few that were alive from her time over 6 millennia ago. So Lestat was impervious, along with the twins and a few others. She was so strong she even killed her own husband when she fell in love with Lestat. All typical weaknesses for vampires meant nothing to them, and for those who drank from her, including herself, they only got a sun tan when exposed to sunlight. Akasha should be first on the list if those issues were considered. But, given that he was limiting it to the movie version, I think he nailed it.
Dude, you forget that Dracula untold lived all the way up to 2014 so, in 2014 he would've improved and increased his strength. And he is stronger than Seline, I love Seline but there is no way she is stronger than Dracula, the same goes for Blade.
Dude was casually crushing granite or quartz just by accidently applying too much pressure. This is right after he became a vampire and that same night he killed over a hundred soldiers by himself
Selene would still be faster and have more actual combat experience. After all she had 600 years of fighting super powerful monsters to the death. Remembers Lycans are all physically stronger than Vampires so its not a fight she is not trained to have. Blade is strong and fast sure but he is a statue compared to Selene especially if its just movie Blade who is Nowhere near as strong as his comic version.
In Van Helsing, at midnight was when the full transformation of werewolf was complete if I remember correctly. Once he became full werewolf he was officially a creature of the night so Dracula had power over him
Selene wasn’t stronger then him after drinking, she just became strong enough to fight him. Selene is just a better fighter as Marcus wasn’t allowed on the battlefield.
All of the Underworld vampires seemed relatively weak to me, as they generally seemed to require tech to beat the lycans who sort of ripped through them (train scene in 1st movie) - their main advantage seemed to be immortality - the hybrids however....
I was a little skeptical from the start but your explanations and descriptions of the vampires was spot on. This was done really and makes a lot sense.
You did a pretty nice job. The Van Hellsing is a heavy fantasy setting compared to the others, so they can go more wild. To me it's difficult to put them in the same line to compare. Blade has complete plot shield. If any vampire die, "the story continues" because there will always be vampires. If Blade dies in a cenario, the story mostly ends because even that there are other vampire hunters or dhampirs, he is made to be unique, so he has plot protection. The powers presented by Frost-La Magra would be more then enough to end Blade, but by script, Frost is specially stupid and don't use his speed, telekinisis and strenght to behead Blade or protect himself. Blade is good but specially vulnerable. Selene speed would be more than enough to behead him. Akasha and all the others too. Akasha is specially dangerous with firing up things at will.
some thing that i never understood with akasha was that she was protected to protect all vampires during the time of becoming a living statue , but got killed at the end. it didn't end the vampire race . I love all these movie. i read Ann Rice books in high school. loved all the movies. wishing for a new one.
If I understand your comment correctly: The other vampires didn't die at the end when she did because of the way they killed her. Since they drained her blood along with the demonic spirit that animates them.
Idk why but I have always thought vlad would be like number 2 on this list at least. My reasoning being just how op of a warrior he was in life, the range of his powers, his strength level and of course I looooove the movie 😊
yea, i dont know why they put vlad so low on the list, i mean before he is a vampire he was once called the impaler for a reason, and in hand to hand combat i think vlad is more supeior even though he got several drawbacks from his power
As far as movie vampires, I would say "Space Girl" from the movie Lifeforce (1985) has to be number 1. She could become pure energy, feed directly off of human and vampire souls at great distance. Destroy entire planets, and even in the end seemingly not die when pierced through the heart by the only weapon in existence that could harm her.
Lifeforce was such an awesome film. In a way I wish either a remake or sequel were made, but they would just screw it up. Soul draining vampires. Like Radu Molasar and Raziel
@@cainabel6356 They thought she was killed by the rod but then, that energy beam back to the Comet ship did something, perhaps transferring her to a replacement body.
@@Thurgosh_OG - The beam from the ship just absorbs all the living energy, that was taken from every human being. The female vampire and the guy did actually die, but their living energy, along with every other liviing energy from their victims, were absorbed by the ship. So, they did die and did not. I don't think they get a replacement body. Could be that they are now part of the ship, living within its matrix of some sort.
Akasha is much stronger than you let on. She can also move much faster than 60 mph. She takes Lestat across the sky in an instant moving with such blurring speed that it disorients Lestat, who is also a vampire and has vampire senses. She can hear Lestat from the other side of the world. She can tear vampires apart who are so strong it is like they're made of stone.
Well she can connect to any vampire of her bloodline, so 'hearing' Lestat is not a supersense but a mind/blood ability. Akasha, still couldn't kill the Van Helsing Dracula, because of his only weakness.
Personally, these are the vampires from movies that i think are the strongest/best: -The Master Vampire (Dracula Untold) -Vlad (Dracula Untold) -Dracula/Judas (Dracula 2000) -Akasha (Queen of the Damned???) -Selene (Underworld) -Viktor (Underworld) -Marcus (Underworld Evolution) -Blade (Blade) -Nomak/Novak (Blade II) -Drac/Drake (Blade Trinity) These are just my opinions, plus i know that this video is a TOP 5 but i feel like some of these shouldve been at least honorably mentioned. Anyways i love these videos!!!
Live action ones to me are. 5- Underworld - They are Strong and Fast plus not many Weaknesses but compared to others are not that special. 4 - Vampire Diaries - Strong Fast not many weaknesses at all hypnotising Star but not Stronger then the others below. 3 - Dracula - Main head Boss Immortality very specific weaknesses strong fast shape shifting hypnotising Stare but dose not fight much and when dose no real skill to be had. 2- Buffy The Vampire Slayer - Insanely Strong traditional Weaknesses incredibly Durable no Super powers but there Strength Endurance Stamina Fighting Skill and Immortality makes up for it. 1- Twilight - Ya ya I know but think about it they Sparkle because their Skil is Biological Diamond they have Marble interior so INCREDIBLY durable they are fast Strong no weaknesses not even Sunlight and plus they have Super powers too. That is my list respect and keep up the epic work.
Dracula Untold and Van Helsing's Dracula should have been tied for Number 1 because... well, Dracula. Then at Number 2 Bram Stoker's Dracula followed by Argento's Dracula at Number 3. Coming in at Number 4 would be Dracula 2000's Dracula because that movie had some fine lady vamps (oh yeah). Number 5 of course would be... Blacula, gotta represent ✊🏾
Good list. Definitely do a TV version (I wanna see where you put Klaus or hope in the list) Only thing that I may would change is to remove possible blade for a Twilight vampire. But the hard part is to know which vampire would you choose. The volturi have abilities but someone like Bella counter's that as we know.. But she would definitely lost to a majority of them in a singke fight though. So ultimately it's a hard choice 🤷♂️
@Matthew Whitt Shame, they were so7 y much better in the books. Not that I'm comparing the books to anything good as the Vampire book series of Count Saint Germain by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro. Would love to see them made into a movie,
Small correction on Akasha. She controls the blood inside Vampires. She manipulates it by moving it or boiling it to combustion. As it is her own blood in all vampires. Her powers would not work on humans. I Like this video. You got a new sub.
@@bigbadwolf6256 Yeah, but with age, vampires become stronger. Eventually, one of the ancients would able to walk in the sun. Also, if you sire off vampires, you get weaker. I don't know why, since you drink more blood and age, you should be stronger. I am guessing you share a certain amount of energy betwen your sired vamps.
@@cainabel6356the maker doesn’t get weaker from siring vampires, the fledglings descending from the very first one made are weaker; the maker retains their strength and do get stronger, it’s their blood that gets diluted with each new fledgling made not their powers or strength. In other words, their first ever fledgling is the strongest out of how many other vampires they make in their lifetime, due to them getting the blood when it’s fresh. That’s the very reason they have that rule prohibiting fairly old to ancient vampires from making anyone, and only fledglings are allowed to make fledglings because a vampire being the very first fledgling of an old vampire would be too op, now if they’re the 16th one in line they’ll still be pretty above other fledglings, but the blood will be decently diluted by that point that it wouldn’t be completely unfair; the fledgling would still have to level up with age like everybody else.
Best vamplist I've seen in a long time. You could try putting them into tier rankings system, making it easier for the next set. I recommend top 5 most powerful angels or demigods.💯☕️👍🐐
Seline also has the powers from the northern clan. She was reborn after she was killed from Marius and his lover. Do you remember that? So she has gained ghost like speed and other physical traits, along with cool white ombré patterns in her hair!!
She was so fast not even the molecules of an instant healed lycan-hybrid super size, Quint(which was more powerful than Gabriel Van Helsing in term of strength speed and healing) could stop her whole arm going through. And that was before she was resurrected in the Northern Cavern.
I would say Marcel Gerard from the originals. He has no weakness but the sunlight. He also has a deadly bite that contains all the most potent venom from every werewolf clan.
I think you should have counted all versions of Dracula as one, or at least counted only the strongest one. Also, Selene's stronger than a hybrid, who could yank a helicopter out of the sky, and that's before going through that ritual in the 5th movie (where she can then use at least 102 tons of force with one hand based on her spine ripping out feat), and she also gains precognition and spiritual powers.
Have you done the from dusk til dawn vampires yet? They are interesting as they seem to be more snake like that the traditional vamps. Some actually spit venom like a cobra.
An in-depth into the Culebras from the Dusk till Dawn film and series would be awesome! I like how they expanded the mythos and put a different spin on their vampires.
Just so happens that the van helsing werewolves are my favorite werewolves lol. Also the movie actually does explain the connection lol Dracula was able to control the werewolves because he tried to controlled who was turned and who be able to train them early on because of his control over creatures of the night which they technically were but only if they were weak willed.
Great list. In the future there might be a debate between Selene's daughter, Eve and the master of Vlad the Impaler. Let us hope there's a continuing to those movies
Selene from Underworld would be strong since she drunk The Blood of Alexander Corvinus making her immune to The Sun. Dracula from Dracula Untold can block out The Sun if he wanted to but he is weakened by Silver which is The Weakness for Werewolves. Akasha was like a goddess who could burn other Vampires with just a thought, and she was THE Mother as well. So that is a very tough question on whose THE Strongest.
sadly but akasha can't burn really old vamps, ones from first few generations who lived almost same as her, it was in the books, and thats also reason why group could gang on her, instead of being just burned.
@kendellfisher3927Selene became immune to sunlight after the second movie. She’s also far more durable, capable of surviving far more extreme wounds than Blade such as being impaled and shot in the head which she acted like they were just minor inconveniences. Blade on the other hand seems like he can be killed and incapacitated by much more conventional means. Getting shot in the legs in Blade 2 pretty much put him out of commission. While Blade does appear to be a more skilled fighter, but by the last Underworld movie, Selene has simply acquired too many new abilities that she’d probably be too fast and powerful for Blade to take on.
@kendellfisher3927 What are you talking about? Selene’s genes were never manipulated against her in the Underworld movies. The only thing that happened was they tried to harvest her blood so that they could harness her immunity to sunlight, which is the same thing they did to Blade in his first 2 movies. Otherwise, no one has been able to discover a genetic weakness to use against Selene. By the fifth film, Selene becomes so fast that Blade would just get clapped in a full on confrontation.
@kendellfisher3927 That’s a very loose way of counting gene manipulation. Even so, Selene’s ability to hybridize new powers never presents any weaknesses in the films. You’re basically inventing new properties not shown in the films to allow Blade to win, which is a biased argument. You need to argue using abilities and weaknesses that we KNOW that each character has based on the films, rather than make up new weaknesses to allow your preferred character to win. Blade is nowhere near Batman’s intelligence, who actually is genius level intellect in the comics. Blade largely relies on others to make his equipment. Blade wasn’t even the one who discovered the serum that later killed the blood god, that was the female doctor lady that he saved. Blade himself is not actually science-savvy. By the end of the third movie, Blade is pretty much working alone, without Whistler or anyone to back him up, so he wouldn’t have anyone to figure out any new concoctions for him, much less one that could take down Selene. You can’t just cherry pick movies that you consider canon for the sake of an argument. By that rule, one could say that they don’t count Blade 1 if they thought it sucked.
Bram Stokers Dracula deserves to be on this list. He could turn into mist, wolf, rats, huge bat- transform tears to diamonds… he’s extremely strong too
Dracula Untold clearly shows the most powerful vampire in cinema history. Vlad The Impaler was just learning how to be a vampire, and look at the devastation he could unleash. That was back in the 1460s against Mehmed II...now imagine how powerful he has become almost 600 years later when he meets Mina in the modern times. This movie deserves a sequel damn it..
Dont believe me too much, but there are rumors that the sequel is indeed in the works.

Dracula Untold is severely underrated
Makes sense. Hell in some mythology, I forgot which, But to become a vampire you had to be a werewolf first

The master vampire tells Vlad this in Dracula Untold as well.
"You will have dominion over the night and its creatures."
Van Hellsing also was the only movie where they made werewolves actually look like man wolf beasts, not some weird mutant thing, they actually had the face of a wolf and a body of a beast, very well done.

this! van helsings werewolf and underworld! i never can choose the better one!
@@donSparda Easy, Van Helsing =P
I freaking hate it when movies make werewolves look like regular wolves but just bigger in size. Werewolves can run on all fours but also be bipedal if they choose to. Van Helsing has by far the best werewolves in any movies.
I loved both the vampires and the werewolves in Van Helsing. I think they are both more as they should be.
Was it only a taste of his power level or full power for a short time?
But did he say a taste of his power to make Vlad (and prior vampire creations) afraid to attack the Master. A ruse to ensure, none of his creations would try to kill him for his full powers.
I think Akasha, the real Akasha character not the garbage film is the only Vampire who could take Untold. The only way to take her down is by overpowering her, and draining her to the very last drop, and drawing in the demon spirit who possess her. And she moves Selene fast, and flies much much faster, but unfortunately we have to go buy to garbage tier film so there's that.
Random fact, but the Master Vampire is actually A Roman called Caligula, but I don’t know whether he’s supposed to be THE Caligula
The flip on that is, Vlad might be the demon in human form that gave the master his power & trapped him in order to become human or some other reason. The master implied twice it's a game between them. And coincidence master arrives in NY same time as Vlad meets reincarnated Mina?
I still think Vlad the Impaler is the strongest BUT he's basically a rookie in Dracula Untold but I also think once he gained more experience and more years(like his post credit), he will be the strongest.
lol just like russia was "strong"
@@EC-dz4bq What's the connection with Russia to my comment? It's a young Dracula himself not some lower tier like Lestat or modern vampire like Selene.

Even to this day I still don't understand the hate towards that movie.
Dracula in Van Helsing reminds me of AL Pacino!

While alucard is a bad ass, I just can’t put him over the OG Vladimir Tepes, that speech he gave to the church was next lvl
This video really discounted how strong Selene is. After Blood wars she basically turned into a goddess moving at lightning fast speed, being able to take out dozens of lycan within a matter of seconds and ripping out an enhanced Werewolf's spine with ease.
I adore Kate Beckinsale as a gorgeus female and actress, but it's absurd to put two females above Blade or Vlad Tepes from Dracula Untold.
@@dartherus Vlad would probably be her biggest issue but she could definitely take out Blade with ease. And yes I know he is Blade, but at the end of the day he's never faced off against something like her, she'd be too quick to track and would just merc him immediately. Deacon frost was quick, she's quicker, by far if that's puts into perspective how fast she is now.
@@dartherus Idk why you're trying to compare fictional supernatural women to real life women. There's some incel logic then there's this bullshit take, lmfao.
@@ThePartisan13 I have always had my plenty share of beautiful woman, it's not hating them to point the differences. I love women who are truly femenine, not the ones trying to be like men.
And the woke movement is nauseating, that's the problem, they always try to show woman as strong as male (or stronger like in this case or the annoying Rey character in Star wars). Woman are precious because they are DIFFERENT (not inferior) to men.
I'd love to see an analysis of the Being Human series, both UK and US version.
A vampire, Werewolf and Ghost living together seems like a good fit for this channel
I mentioned that one before, good call.
Good one, enjoyed the UK version more.
Yes!
Good, just was about to ask about that one too.
I liked that show too n I even seen a few episodes fron the UK version
Van Helsings Dracula was also the king of sass 😂 Being both ancient and truly immortal gave him a lot of personality
Underworld is probably my favorite Vampire movies. The clips he shows are just a taste of what happens
Hell yeah it would be awesome to see a Top 5 Strongest Vampires from TV Shows video 🤘🔥🧛🦇
I like the custom badge by your name dude it looks pretty sick😎✌🏻💪🏻
Do you have any predictions for the top 5 vampires from TV shows you want to make before he makes a video on it??
@@kadecoleman4104 Thanks Man I became a channel member on this channel that's how I got the cool skull badge by my name and if I made a top 5 vampires from TV shows my list would go in no particular order
1 Warlow from True Blood
2 Vanessa Van Helsing from Van Helsing
3 Angel from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel
4 Klaus from The Vampire Diaries and The Originals
5 Dracula from Castlevania
from tv, the first ones coming to mind for me are the Mikaelson siblings and their father from Vampire Diaries/Originals.
Yes and I’d recommend Lilith (True Blood) and Nicklaus Mikaelson (TVD/Originals/Legacies) and of course his daughter Hope, assuming the tribryd counts.
Didn’t Bill become Lilith?
@@peterversionone yes he became bilith
@@peterversionone yep. But wasn’t sure if that counted. Maybe he could mention Lilith and Bilith as Lilith 2.0 😂

@@tsdocholiday8965 Eric ran away from Bill/Lilith
She can’t put a a human on fire. But she can force blast.
PETER from what we do in the shadows is the strongest vampire. also he is 8,000 years old.
@@claireglory I mean, that has absolutely nothing to do with my comment. My comment was specifically about Akasha's speed.
She could also stamp a person flat by merely walking on them.
Bruh, I usually don't like the lists people make but this was FLAWLESS 💯
Selenes' jump form the church tower is in my opinion one of the most badass high landings in movies, literally just tucks her legs a bit to cushion the blow ( my theory is that was to stop the concrete cracking not to stop the fall from hurting her) and just strolls off, i used to do parkour and any fall over 1 story I would roll out of to protect my knees this is insane, and as a first display really shows how much more durable than a human these vampires are as i expect a fall from that height would probably result in the person looking more like jelly than a human
Selene is crazy overpowered by the end of the series
It’s not better than blade jumping out the building and shooting that vampire in blade 2 intro 😂. Iconic
@blzn201 Marcus was put asleep before the imprisonment of William, so he couldn't know where his brother was.
Van Helsing wouldn't be put under Dracula's control, if he didn't destroy him by midnight. He had until midnight to receive the werewolf cure or the curse would become permanent.
@@luxj.9451 this is normally how it works in most series when it comes to why outright natural enemies obey their counterpart in most mythical chains of command it simply comes down to the rules like wth most creatures of the night in most series they are bound to rules or as it's put guidelines that need to be followed normally with vampires alone its the older= stronger like how it works with demons and when they are sharing a authority system with other creatures of the night vampires are normally in the zone below mid tier demons and angels while above nearly all other creatures of the night. normally because in most lore were they share the world with other creatures they are most of the time the offspring result of arch demons the horsemen level daemons or archdevils doing some shady experiments or the result of a angel/fallen angel interfering with things or on very rare occasions the result of a old one or outer god force like hastur or nylaraphotep meaning in most settings vampires are the direct result of a celestial force be it light dark or the abyss so they are most of the time very far up on the creature of the night hierarchy and in most lore were all creatures of the night share a common ancestor they are normally the firstborns in terms of when their species appeared and how much of their original progentor's strength they get which is why in most hierarchy's you see in different lore and different fictional universes it normally goes god/gods and beings of similar strength angels/demons/daemons/devils then it normally goes to vampires at the top of a tree of night creature's with vampires being strongest and werewolf's normally just scraping in at below them in physical power then all other creatures of the night below them except for a few universe's were specific species replace vampire's at the top of the tree or were a actual original progentor exists for all species of the night

I believe in Van Helsing the Werewolves could only resist Dracula's influence until their first full moon after turning passed, which was why Van Helsing had to kill him before the full moon ended that night.
THIS! Its because he had not fully turned and still has his humanity.
Heck yeah, I absolutely LOVE Van Helsing. Saw it in theaters as a kid, and it’s still one of my favorite movies of all time
Great film, was sorry to hear it wasn't a hit, but believe it became a cult favorite later on.
First time I watched it at my sister house

I am leaning towards Vlad being the number 2, and that is only because of Dracula's Indicability. It seems he is able to overcome a lot of his weaknesses (like the sun). Vlad was basically immune to fire as he too walked out of a burning building and healed instantly, could move stupid fast when he wasn't fully developed, can easily make as many vampires as he wanted etc. I'd probally put Saline as 4. he seems slightly better then blade in ablity.
Sweet, will a ''Top 5 Strongest Werewolves from Movies'' be next?
Yes I would really like to do a strongest werewolves video! You can definitely expect that eventually 👍
@@coganLollins the best werewolves were also in Van Helsing (2004).

You know, I was ready to fight you on Van Helsing's Dracula being the strongest, but damn you made really good points that I had forgotten about! Aaliyah really did embody a vampire so beautifully. This was a really fun video with some of my favorite movie vampires of all time!
Would love to see a tv show vampire ranking!
But, only for a less broad reason:
The truly vast potential that he, as the first official vampire (the 'master vampire' is more like a demon), had going forward.
Lmao
Vlad just needed, at least, another movie.
I just recently watched John Carpenter's vampires and I was actually quite surprised by the strength and speed of the master vampire in that movie. Who was also played by the actor who was the pony tail villain Tony Silver in the third Karate Kid. movie and Cobra Kai.

Dracula Untold. That's a must see for me now. Thanks and great work.
What about Gary Oldman's Dracula? Dude can turn into dust, swarms of rats or bats, shapeshift, as strong as 20 men or more, resistant to sunlight, and has a level of compelling mind control.
One of the best made Dracula's ever!
You forgot to mention that Dracula has power over gravity. Walking on walls and the roof
@@Copperkaiju That's just lazy writing for movies and TV. The books are not like this.
@@mckrackin5324 I wouldn't say it's bad writing. It's not hard to write but it might be hard to to put naked people into a PG-13 movie.

The only vampire I like in Buffy is spike 😀
@@veronika__asmr_ also how he got his name was great as well
You know I wouldn’t mind a new buddy series. Old and tattered 45 year old buffy out there kicking ass.
Bro this a sick ass list with sick ass movies. I've never been so satisfied with a RUclips list b4 lol
They ll probably do her justice in the tv show
True
I was searching for a comment about her in the books! Akasha from the books is way stronger
a fucking nuke will kill any vampire lol
And like most of the "truly ancient" she can also send her spirit out and see any location on Earth instantly.
I’m so happy Van Helsing’s Dracula gets appreciation

Selene is a lot stronger then you think. She was strong enough to rip out a Lycan/Vampire hybrid's spine while getting beat up. Marcius was clearly stronger but Selene was more than enough to kill him. I'm pretty sure she could at least top Akasha in combat.
i agree, akasha is not physically that strong.
selene had the powers of first immortal , she defeated marcus.

Dude did you read the book or just watched the movie?
@@brianedwards6733 Both. Though this convo was for the movie, so I didn't bother to bring up any abilities from the book.
@@brianedwards6733 This video is just about the movie but she was OP as heck in the book. The movie version was watered down.

Anytime you have a character that’s so powerful that if they died, their entire species would die with them, belongs at the #1 spot on this list
I loved it when all the vampires from all the movies got together and said "It's Morbin Time".
What a sad life.
In Van Helsing, at midnight was when the full transformation of werewolf was complete if I remember correctly. Once he became full werewolf he was officially a creature of the night so Dracula had power over him
Count chocula not only satisfies his hunger, but will also satisfy your hunger. He’s the most powerful for sure
Should have included Drake from Blade 3. Dude was unstoppable in monster form.
Selene wasn't as strong as Marcus until she drank from the father of Marcus. He was stronger until then.
Selene wasn’t stronger then him after drinking, she just became strong enough to fight him. Selene is just a better fighter as Marcus wasn’t allowed on the battlefield.
@@bloodoftheunicorns2621 I agree as that is pretty much what I said. I wasn’t trying to make the case that she was stronger than Marcus.
@@gerardgregory1 Fair enough.
All of the Underworld vampires seemed relatively weak to me, as they generally seemed to require tech to beat the lycans who sort of ripped through them (train scene in 1st movie) - their main advantage seemed to be immortality - the hybrids however....
@@tonyug113 I think the both sides have pros and cons.
I was a little skeptical from the start but your explanations and descriptions of the vampires was spot on. This was done really and makes a lot sense.
He made some mistakes.
It would be cool for you to do a video on the werewolves in teen wolf
(Also congrats on 70k)
Vlad in Dracula Untold and in Van Helsing were the coolest vampires I've seen on screen tbh
some thing that i never understood with akasha was that she was protected to protect all vampires during the time of becoming a living statue , but got killed at the end. it didn't end the vampire race . I love all these movie. i read Ann Rice books in high school. loved all the movies. wishing for a new one.
If I understand your comment correctly: The other vampires didn't die at the end when she did because of the way they killed her. Since they drained her blood along with the demonic spirit that animates them.
Not surprised that akasha is on the list god aaliyah was outstanding in the role 👑❤❤❤
Idk why but I have always thought vlad would be like number 2 on this list at least. My reasoning being just how op of a warrior he was in life, the range of his powers, his strength level and of course I looooove the movie 😊
Yeah he's basically Man of Steel(movie) in Untold except Vlad is an experienced warrior/fighter unlike Clark Kent.
yea, i dont know why they put vlad so low on the list, i mean before he is a vampire he was once called the impaler for a reason, and in hand to hand combat i think vlad is more supeior even though he got several drawbacks from his power
This was an awesome topic and video! I’d of had a super hard time deciding who the #1 would have been. Amazing content sir 👏
Plus, you know, an aversion to clothes. As Jeremy from Cinemasins would say, the power of boners is strong!
I don't know, it was stated that iron rod did kill her and the guy, from what I gathered. Still pretty scary those vamps were.
She teleports across the world.
Well she can connect to any vampire of her bloodline, so 'hearing' Lestat is not a supersense but a mind/blood ability. Akasha, still couldn't kill the Van Helsing Dracula, because of his only weakness.
Personally, these are the vampires from movies that i think are the strongest/best:
-The Master Vampire (Dracula Untold)
-Vlad (Dracula Untold)
-Dracula/Judas (Dracula 2000)
-Akasha (Queen of the Damned???)
-Selene (Underworld)
-Viktor (Underworld)
-Marcus (Underworld Evolution)
-Blade (Blade)
-Nomak/Novak (Blade II)
-Drac/Drake (Blade Trinity)
These are just my opinions, plus i know that this video is a TOP 5 but i feel like some of these shouldve been at least honorably mentioned.
@@qw4sanchick910 There's like 8 versions of Dracula that are all the same... my entire comment is satire 😂
Omg. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I’m 100% agree with the winner, Van Helsing has been the best.
Dracula Untold was an underrated movie. Really wanted a sequel...you think we could get a breakdown of the vampires in V Wars? Also, underrated
Sequel is coming
@@fidelguerra2164 Really?
So ridiculous imo, one of the worst movies recommended to me
@@loomick I disagree that movie was great, what did you find ridiculous about It?
The strongest vampire is Klaus from the Originals. He is a hybrid and badass.
Just when I thought you would not include my favorite vampire you placed him at the very top. NOICE 👌🏻
Good list. Definitely do a TV version (I wanna see where you put Klaus or hope in the list)
Only thing that I may would change is to remove possible blade for a Twilight vampire. But the hard part is to know which vampire would you choose. The volturi have abilities but someone like Bella counter's that as we know.. But she would definitely lost to a majority of them in a singke fight though. So ultimately it's a hard choice 🤷♂️
Who's Klaus ?
@@conniecarroll747 Top 5 strongest vampires in any fiction. Book Klaus from Vampire Diaries.
Yeah the vampires from the Twilight Series are pretty nutty.
She is faster and stronger then any Vampire from the book with all skills any vampire posses also she can walk in the sun who is stronger.
@@woodelsonnicolas1489they gotta make a sequel sooooonnn

Aaliyah played her part so well. She was so talented! Queen of the damned was creepy!
And a great soundtrack!
Such a tragedy that we lost her so early in her life and career.
pretty good list, I can agree but I'm a little sad that Drace from Blade 3 isn't on the list. But still, a good pick for number 1 and number 5 too.
Selene is beautiful and OP
My gal
Great video dude!now we need a Death Battle video between all of them.
Have you done the from dusk til dawn vampires yet? They are interesting as they seem to be more snake like that the traditional vamps. Some actually spit venom like a cobra.
Love your videos by the way
Both the movie and series
@@ShadowCthulhu yeah the series was a fun watch. It’s so over the top sometimes though lol
@@savagetr1539 Indeed, glad it was a set story and only had 3 seasons, prevented it from dragging out.
Have you ever come across Legacy of Kain series, now that had some cool vampires & lore.
Yesssss
Great content mate keep up the good work and I can only see your channel growing
Oh yes glad Selene is in the top 3 love her 🖤🖤🖤🖤🙂
I would like to see Selene meet Blade. I think they'd fight at first, but they'd end up fighting together towards the third act.
Imagine their babies and children 😁
@kendell fisher They have those in the underworld universe. Selene is used to those. She's not affected by UV any more anyways.
