NEVER get in the habit of handling a planer at the bottom. ( note the 0:59 sec position in the video) You can easily get too comfortable around this tool. Just like a fire arm, assume the tool is plugged in and live. The electric hand planer is one of the most dangerous tools in the shop because the blades are out of your site.

Hi Max, thanks for reaching out. You're absolutely right - you should always handle any tool with caution, and if you are adjusting the tool, it is important to always ensure the tool is unplugged or the battery is taken out. Thank you for pointing this out to us. We appreciate constructive feedback like this and will take this into consideration when creating future videos. Thanks

Truly. It’s the level of genius only Australians have. (Kiwi girl here. All the true geniuses landed in NZ 😂)
Oh and always remember that it’s always good to give your tool a good dust off once the job is done. A quick blow should do the trick.
I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to jump straight in with my power tools! Okay okay so kiwis may not be experts at power tools like this guy is, but man are we experts when it comes to decks. Need convincing? Search “NZ deck commercial” here on RUclips. #yourewelcome

@@alannahshelton2002 You must remember Australia was populated by English convict stock so the low Intelligence Quotient just stagnated over the years where as godzone was endowed with the far superior gentry from the same place. Our only problem was the bloody gentry brough their effing rabbits, hedgehogs, possums (though to be fair they came from across the ditch), broome and effing gorse plus other pest flora and fauna (I didn't include deer because we made a meal out of them). In fact all the bad stuff either came with the gentry or imported from the Convict isle aka West Island.
Ozito however is an excellent budget brand with a wide range of tools and IMO about the only good thing out of Australia unless it's Air New Zealand flight 176 with me on it (plus it make Oz happy as well). 🤭
