There are adoption scandals in Sweden. Childers were illegally taken from other countries as Chile, Korea.
Child abuses are not unusual in Sweden.

I was born in Seoul South Korea and was adopted in 1988 to Canadian Parents. I haven't seen my biological, mother, sister, brother or father since. Would love to one day see my mother, brother and sister, but not my father.

I remember when I was adopted and I just finished 8 th grade in South Korea. I remember the day I was transported to America with 12 new born babies which I helped coming to America.
I was picked up in NY where all babies were picked up and I was by a men I didn’t know who he was and flew to Miami with him where I was picked up by a women who turned out to be my American mother.
My story is a bit different because I chose to be adopted at age 14 while in the orphanage for about 10 years. I chose to be adopted not knowing if my family would ever get me out of orphanage.
I do hope to find my family and anyone who can advise me the best way to find lost family in South Korea would be very much appreciated.

Biological mothers feel ashamed and hurt just like us adoptees who want to find their identity

I heard that biological moms had to also sign their rights never to search too.Adoption agencies withheld to we south Korean adoptees blamed adoption agencies for withholding.I also think their should be more therapy for biological moms and perhaps help for elderly in south korea.

Her right to know who her biological parents are is an innate right to know. The law cannot deter nature. It is in EVERY HUMAN'S INNATE DESIRE TO KNOW WHERE WE COME FROM AND WHAT DNA WE ARE MADE OF. IT IS A FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHT. NO MAN-MADE LAW SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO STOP THAT.

It would be nice to know your birth mother but in a same token, birth mother shouldn’t have to be change life upside down for past mistakes or choice she made. Back then (still some today) Korean culture was not accepting of out of wedlock babies.

This is about REVENGE! SHES in pain and she wants to inflict PAIN ON THE MOM. A mother who gave up her to live a better life! Like what a Dick move!

Are you adopted ? Because if you aren’t you haven’t got the right to speak on what you don’t know, or maybe painful on birth mothers but it’s also painful for a child who wants answers so don’t be so judgemental !!
