Thank you very much. The tips about the quality of the oat, heat of the pan and the spreading of it almost like painting is expert level. God bless you dear.
This is a super special recipe! I love that it's easyyyyyy. Now we can be eating wraps anyhow 😂. You just saved lives with this literally. God bless you ma.

I just went to confirm the type of oat I have, it's old fashioned one.... healthy wraps here I come. Thank you for your help and great recipes, God bless you.
I like the way you spread the wrap so cool. Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your family. 🙏I hope I will make it perfect like you. You did excellent 🙏
Thank you for showing the process in real-time. I was doing this and wondering why my wrap was always moist on the inside. Now I know the mistakes I was making. Start with cooler pan so you can spread thin.
Happy new month ma and thank you for this recipe, you made it so easy 😊. Please do we grease the pan with oil just once or we do it for each wrap and is there a way to differentiate the old fashioned oats from the regular ones we have in the supermarkets? Thanks a lot 💓
My pleasure, sis. You grease the pan before spreading each wrap. It helps keep the wrap from drying out and breaking. Old Fashioned Oats is written on the Jar of the Oats
You can try that, but this actually works best for easy measurement, instead of saying, for example - one cup oats and three quarters cup water. Also, the Oats will still end up getting thicker. If you use less water, it would have over thickened before you finish frying the first one and you will end up needing to add water again. And you really won't be able to now come up with a specific water measurement for the recipe. And it will affect how the wrap will turn out for different people
I tried this recipe today. But mine cracks a little bit and not that flexible. Do you know why did mine come out different? How long do you pan fried the batter?
@@sangeetabharath6689 I didn't overcook it nor did I had the fire too high. The problem was I put a little bit too much batter and didn't spread it evenly so I got some parts cracked and some parts a little bit tough. It's me, I'm the problem 😅😅
Oh, I'm so sorry about that. What type of oats did you use? Also you need to ensure the pan is not hot. It should be barely warm when you spread the oats
Looks good. I will try it soon.

Old Fashioned Oats is written on the Jar of the Oats
Rather than waiting for the oat to thicken, can the water used in blending be reduced so that one have a thickened one already
You can try that, but this actually works best for easy measurement, instead of saying, for example - one cup oats and three quarters cup water. Also, the Oats will still end up getting thicker. If you use less water, it would have over thickened before you finish frying the first one and you will end up needing to add water again. Or you don't have to wait for it to thicken, you can pour it in the frying pan right after.
Thank you Sis.. been wishing for healthy wraps for sharwama.. this does it.. is ever crnchy though? Hope it doesnt become soggy
Crunchy
Good evening Ma, pls what is the brand name of oatmeal you use ma
Ma'am, can we use the same recipe for oat meal pancakes? Or do you have a video on it already?
No, it's a different recipe for pancakes. I'll work on a video for you
Can i use oat flour instead i grated the oats i have
Yes, you can
How do you use steel cut oats for this recipe
The exact same way
I tried this recipe today. But mine cracks a little bit and not that flexible. Do you know why did mine come out different? How long do you pan fried the batter?
you probably over cooked it or had the fire too high
@@sangeetabharath6689 I didn't overcook it nor did I had the fire too high. The problem was I put a little bit too much batter and didn't spread it evenly so I got some parts cracked and some parts a little bit tough. It's me, I'm the problem 😅😅
I tried it, but it was breaking up in the pan. What could be the problem?
Oh, I'm so sorry about that. What type of oats did you use?
Also you need to ensure the pan is not hot. It should be barely warm when you spread the oats
What "brand" of oat was used, pls?
Millville Rolled Oats (Old Fashioned Oats)
It don't have to be that thick, plus you can use the middle of the spoon to spread the wrap.
Thank you 😍
Thanks so much. So it's only once you put oil..
You can apply oil more than once depending on your pan. If the nonstick is very effective, you might not need to apply more than once
@@LagosHouseWife OK.. Thank you
We call this Oats Dosa in South India 😊
Oh wow! Made this same way?
@@LagosHouseWife yep, very similar! We pre soak the oats, say about 15-20mins and few ingredients like shallots, ginger for additional flavour boost!
@@VeeGo. Thank you. I'll try that
How many calories per wrap my sweet?
I'm so sorry, I have no idea. I don't count calories.
Do you have any recipes for Tigernut chaff? I would love to know what to do with it instead of discarding it.
I'll be doing a Tigernut Chaff Recipe this month
Thanks, really looking forward to it.
Does any one know the calories??
A cup of Oats has 303 calories. So, divide how many wraps you make from one cup by that
How do I get the old fashioned oats?
They are sold in markets and supermarkets
