Love it ❤ wish I could taste it 😋 I'm from Germany and my family has owned win yards, made our own family wine 🍷 but when we were kids we loved stomping and smashing the grapes 🍇 We had homemade wine and grapejuice. Nothing is better than homemade organic !!! We also had lots of apple trees and my uncle made apple wine, apple cider and the best of the best, fresh apple juice 🍎 Nothing like store bought, it was very dark and cloudy juice, but awesome and so healthy. Much love to you ALL ❤
It's amazing to see the love that they put in making everyday things. No fancy equipment, no special chemicals, just pure love. Nothing can get more special than that 🙂
Hello, i love traditional way of living, life is so simple, healthy , happy and full of contentment. What they are eating are organic, no chemicals at all...good luck everyone, power on.. stay safe
13:12 wow great job Kulas. No need to exploit local culture secret. Unlike those who tried to capitalize the cultural heritage. That's why Kulas is the best vlogger here in the Philippines.
What a way to wake up with that beautiful smell of coffee. That sea of clouds are absolutely stunning and one of the best thing about your drown shot is that you always paired it with an amazing background music. Good to know how the Mansaka make their own wine, if only we can taste it. Cheers to that!😊
I really enjoy watching your videos, Kulas. Your friends are so awesome like Kumar, Jandee, Madman, Kumander Daot and the rest. Thank you for appreciating and promoting the Filipino culture.
Man that place is like a time machine! Tapayan... kutyapi... Implements that the rest of the Philippines seems to have forgotten due to colonialism and foreign influence. It's nice to see that some parts of the country that still use things like this.
In the Caribbean Islands they make coffee like that Kyle. The wine making is very interesting and different that I have seen in California, Chile, Argentina and in Europe for sure. I bet Jandee is picking up some new cooking techniques during your mountain visit. Have fun guys.
Kulas, that drone shot just made me miss the Philippines even more. Oh how I would love to wake up to feel and smell that morning air. Even better with a nice hot sikwate and bud bud for breakfast.
I missed a lot cooking the old traditional way in the "Abuhan".. Cooking in the Abuhan is really different taste compared to cooking in the stove. I love it, early waking up , having that kind of coffee and wait for the sunrise 🌅.. Oh so missing the Philippines a lot.. ❤️ Thanks for this vid Kulas, you're amazing and the people around you there.. Nice ka brad.. take care always..
I like when they speak to you in bisaya like the ate making the mais coffee shes so calm. Mais coffee can taste ashy if not filtered well we also have that in bohol. Sea of clouds is da best!
Beautiful fog there. The simplicity of province life in the Philippines is how the locals treat their daily activity. There is hard work and patience in simplicity, as shown in how the food, coffee and wine were prepared. No machines but only from the hands that has mastered the craft. Thank you and Power On!
When I was younger,I remember that’s what my family did, making coffee early in the morning using cloth(gauze) strainer with no creamer and sugar at all.Unlike now, everything comes in handy.
Lots of awesomeness in this vlog. I love seeing the process of the wine. It’s a long process but worth it. It must taste good with the health factor and 12% alcohol. 😂😂Best of both world.👍🏼
Life is good in the province😊💕🤔So interesting to know that you can use the gingerlike root crops for fermenting wines🍷 unbelievable 😳 👏 Tre Filipino engenuity.❤🇵🇭Thank you for sharing 😊 😀 🙏🇨🇦Take care 💕
Hello KULAS at sa buong Becoming Filipino team! Good morning there!!! I love it that corn coffee it's an organic coffee and it's our traditional filipino coffee too!
Ohhh so that's how it's done! Amazing. Love the part where you are sitting in front of the fire with the big caldero. I miss that! Have a nice day Kulas. Power on!!!
I have tried drinking that KULAS the byais, I like it so much because it’s medicinal, you can already buy byais in Mati City Subangan Tourism, byais is quite strong but good for the body, this will really make you tipsy after drinking 2 shots❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Cool.. Have you tried rice wine before Kulas? If not go find and try it also. If the world get back in normal life, and go get back to our province in Abra and try to taste one it's so "naimas" lami or delicious. 😊
Interestingly I think if they used the rice wine method to brew their wine they may not have to add the honey/sugar. It would take longer and produce a different wine but would possibly cut down on waste.
Fascinating how some of your content is not just "Filipino" but others ethnicity and cultures have a variation. Same but different makes all of US. So wine refers to fermentation of any fruit and beer refers to fermentation of grain. The "root" crop you referred to is which? FYI the coffee process is also the same in Caribbean Islands.
He said that the bamboos over by the dirty chicken was so that the cats won't eat it. I think there are still left overs from the foods that was cooked in.
Compliment to your early morning voice - it's sounded so sexy, raspy and husky - sounds so seductive - reminds me of Scarlett Johansson, Emma Stone and Lindsey Lohan. These actresses has that kind of voices. It's one of those voice that people make when they just got up from bed. The sea of clouds hovering the area is a reminiscence of your trip in Cervantes, ILocos Sur. Perfect drone shots - clouds start to move away from the valley, sun is also rising on the east - beautiful to watch as these two phenomenon separates. Salute the family for keeping their ginger root wine tradition alive and you did a fantastic job documenting the processing beginning to end. I think this beverage the family made is no doubt in my mind qualifies to call a medicinal drink - ginger is one of those that considered by many experts to be anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory.
Love it ❤ wish I could taste it 😋
