I am a 56-year-old, Black woman from Pittsburgh, PA, and I love Jim Gaffigan. I went to see him last year when he came here. I was the only one of me in the entire stadium. So many people asked me things like, "So, when did you start liking Jim Gaffigan or, you know who he is, right" I was appalled, and I think Mr. Gaffigan should address the fact that his comedy isn't just for White people. In his own irreverent way, of course. I think his comedy is uniquely Gen X, sarcastic and dry.
I'm latino man, 42, raised catholic (no surprises there) and I watched yesterday a video of Jim in his segment of the Virgin Mary and I was crying of laughter, I have been following for some time and I honestly think he is top 5 funniest guys/gals around.
Person, the same principle applies here as is it does to watching "the news." There is nothing to be gained by involving yourself in the affairs of eight billion strangers.

Definitely empathize with you here, things have been such a rollercoaster for all of us the last few yrs but lately it's been a bit more of a challenge. Thankfully I'm lucky to be able to take some extra time for a good book, comedy channels on YT, or even just searching Instagram/Pinterest for memes lol interestingly it hasn't been relieving a whole lot of stress BUT it has helped quite a lot with the anxiety and irritability that had me super frazzled which in turn seems to reduce the stress a bit - it seems pretty simple but sometimes the simple things (and engaging with them) become the hardest to remember when we're feeling down. Jim, Jim, Jim, I have that swallowing disorder because I have a brain tumor. Pantoprazole 40 MG twice a day and I do not have a swallowing issue. Mine would gag me and I would dry vomit or four hours sometimes. I would vomit my own saliva. It gave me anxiety attacks. The pantoprazole works like magic. I am so very grateful. I got it from a gastroentologist. I hope you read this.
You guys make some great points but do you realize the things you point out aren’t being heard by the GRUMP supporters? If there’s something negative GRUMP says, his supporters minimize it and don’t let anyone hear. I heard comments about how bad he talked about our military and not wanting to be embarrassed by a handicapped soldier…but my husband never hears things like that! He, like so many others, turns the channel when he hears negative GRUMP remarks. It’s ludicrous! I try to have him listen to something and he’s like a child…putting his fingers in his ears and saying “lalalalalala” . I’m so sick of this. Craziness!
