About Sonic Mania, Christian Whitehead is not an indie developer, he hasn't been since the advent of his ports in 2011. Sonic Team, not "Team Sonic", also contributed a lot to making Mania and if it weren't for them, the game wouldn't have come out the way it did. Not to mention the contribution of Headcannon and PagodaWest Games. Let's not make one person bear the burden, when it was parts of multiple teams of people, let alone try to make it sound like someone one-upped the other.
The "iPhone without the phone" was me at 10. My first "phone" was an iPod Touch that my dad previously had and gave to me after a while. I enjoyed it and didn't care that I couldn't call or text people. Of course over time, when I turned 12 or 13, I got my first real phone, a Samsung Galaxy J7, so I could call or text people as I would be alone more often. Now, at 18, I have a Samsung Galaxy A20 (I think that's what it's called).
I, as well as many others, would love if you and at least one of your friends react to a Caddicarus video sometime. He’s really funny and also gaming-related like Scott the Woz, which I also like seeing more reactions of.
To be honest, i almost didn't played games on my phone. Almost. But when my videocard died, i had something to do in my free time. So i decided to grab few games from play market and play, on my Samsung Galaxy S6. I played games like Rally Fury, Death Worm, Brick Game Collection, remake of old good Tanks from NES, good old Gravity Defied, LA Rex and NY Rex where you running around as T-Rex and eating people. Then i played Contra Evolution, some Tetris for the fun of it and something else, i don't remember what cause i deleted it to clear some space on the phone. I still have some of those games on my phone, but i no longer play them, because my sensors kinda started to mess up. I mean, they are not broken YET, but there is some problems with them. So i'm using my phone now simply as that. As a phone. Also, the fact that you have to pay the game developers in order to, you know, disable a freaking advertisement IN YOUR FREAKING GAME, pisses me of. But the reason why i stoped playing games on my phone is not in the sensors, but in everything else. 1. I don't like playing games by simply touching the screen. Sure, i could get a gamepad for that, but wasting a money for another gamepad? Hell nah. I'm not that rich. I got like two gamepads for PC, and i'm not gonna get another one, cause he is gonna have the same fate as those other too. Laying down in dust, cause i don't use them too much. 2. The advertisements. Who the hell thought about adding a ads in a freaking game??? I wanna look at that person's face and say few nasty words, that would probably break him. Seriously! The fact that you have to pay extra money for the developer to disable ads in your game, is just freaking bull$hit! And 3. I don't like mobile games that much. Sure, they are cool time killers and all that, but i prefer playing something cool on my PC, rather than messing with some weak stuff on my phone. Like, good luck playing Brutal Doom on your phone. You gonna play it, but it will not feel the same, but rather bull$hit. So yeah, i rather use my phone as a phone, than as a video game platform. Cause, mobile games sucks, honestly, and they are nowhere near to been better than games for the big platforms. p.s - God, i miss JAVA era games. Those were some awsome and crazy games that was gonna beat games for the big platforms. Prince of Persia, Buldozer Inc, Stirlitz game, Doom RPG, Stalker, Need for Speed YOU NAME IT! Those were some cool times!
My first iPhone was my dads old iPhone 5 I used it u til the battery literally had to be charged by a hairdryer and the standby button died. I’ve currently got my dads old iPhone 6 and I might have to upgrade this year. But my first SMARTPHONE was a brand I guarantee you’ve never heard of. GZone. They made phones so protected you could roll a car over them and there wouldn’t be a scratch on them. I used it until the touchscreen stopped working
