Hi Tracy Ooi, thank you for trying this recipe and for following me on FB 😀 Actually, I discard the egg whites as I find them too salty to consume all 😢 However, if preferred, they can be used to make spicy corn salad (similar to Thai green papaya salad, but using corn): ruclips.net/video/xfTcK9Gslac/видео.html. Hi Charm. Kaffir lime leaves or if you can take spicy, the red bird eye chilli also good. Or else, it can go without the curry leaves as well. Thanks for comment.

Hi Chloe Ng, thank you for the question 😄 Yes, butter can be replaced with oil, however do note that butter enhances the smell and taste of the salted yolk 😄

Looks so good and I am sure it is delicious with lots of butter and 4 egg yolks. I can feel my cholesterol shoot sky high with over 1000 calories.

Hi Victoria Tirona, thank you for the feedback 😀 I'm sorry that you didn't find it delicious. The fried tofu itself is quite bland - perhaps a change of the type of tofu would make it better. I would suggest to use "Seafood Tofu" which is already seasoned - it looks similar, but packs a lot of flavour. Another recipe that I would suggest is Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk.
