14 years ago, we had this exact screen in our tractors. We farm about 10,000 acres of wheat in SE Washington, and we even had one that was ONLY a lightbar about 16 years ago or more. They were always built in though, they werent something that moved the wheel.
They were gps guidance which you can use this for if you choose, but you can add auto steer to the GPS guidance like ours is too. Technology is pretty amazing
We are doing very well, hope you are too. Like I've said before these videos aren't going anywhere and are not as important as your family by any means. Hope all is well!
Fun fact, I was deployed to west Africa, specifically Liberia, for four months during the Ebola outbreak to build hospitals. Still a long ways from south Africa but a lot closer to you than I am right now😁 thanks for watching and for the comment! Hope you are enjoying the channel
@@FreedomFarmsMo Thank you my friend for the answer. go plant soybeans with him with the omni star correction sign. With your guidance, I think it will work. Continue with the channel congratulations
Cheers guys, just came across you channel. If you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay for the full setup? And are there any subsciptions with the old system and did you need a RTK base station? (Let me know what currency your talking in so I can convert, im from Australia).
Just like it says in the beginning of the videos just under $2000 US dollars for the full ez steer and ez guide setup together. Using WAAS is free and will keep you within a couple inches. Omni is a subscription you can use but I don't know exactly how accurate that is, it's obviously more accurate than WAAS though. WAAS is free and using GPS only, no base station at all. Hope this helps
@@FreedomFarmsMo 👍Hope it goes well. Do you guys in the states get to claim it as an instant tax write off? My uncle got a new Trimble ez steer system put in on his tractor and was wrote off by tax. Not sure if it would be different for a used system but I’d imagine not.
We just get to list it as an expense, you still pay for it and don't get any where near what you spent back from taxes on it unfortunately. It's like that with all equipment, livestock, inputs, etc
Just like shown in the video, $2000. It came with everything and was purchased through an ebay auction. The tractor obviously was not included in that purchase...
It works great for us on WAAS it is keeping us within 3". I'm sure if you paid for the rtk subscription it would be sub inch but I don't need sub inch accuracy

I have an 8070 with a trimble 750 and the auto pilot and absolutely love it. I notill with cover crops so it was a life changer.
I would love to have the 750, someday I'll have to move up!
@@FreedomFarmsMo I didnt want to spend that much but I needed something user friendly and with a big screen for when my dad use it.
That's very understandable
Hay buddy sorry been Mia. Hope u and family are well thanks for catch up

Wow pretty cool 😎
Thankyou guys for helping Dan get out in a mud today, ❤️❤️❤️ God bless you

hello friend Can you tell me if this equipment works in planting operations?
It would do well for planting but keep in mind it is not going to be sub inch accuracy. It will keep you within 1-2 inches consistently
It would work just fine but remember it is not going to be sub inch accuracy. It will keep you within 1-2 inches consistently though.

@@FreedomFarmsMo Cheers, sound like you got a deal, found a full setup like yours for $6000 aud = $4000 usd (ballpark).
I did, I'd been looking for almost a year and just finally found the one I was looking for basically.

How much does it cost ? I mean for the complete setup
Just like shown in the video, $2000. It came with everything and was purchased through an ebay auction. The tractor obviously was not included in that purchase...
You were talking about a Android app that you used. What app was it?
Field navigator, it used to be 100% free now it is still free but some features cost money
I don’t care if it’s cheap, it has to work. To much at stake to cheap out.
