I saw this amazing piece of engineering being developed when I was younger, this was the first project my dad was development lead on, glad to see it getting appreciated!
Keep messing with your settings and youll get it to work the way you want. If i remember right i usually run the aggressiveness 110 to 130 depending on how rough the field is and whatnot. Sometimes if it gets too far off you might have to help it get lined back up. I like the motor at the top of the steering wheel so its more out of the way but thats just my preference
I have confidence that you will get it figured out and fine tuned. Once you get all of your equipment measurements it will work fine for you. It’s very wet here raining off and on. Going to be awhile before the guys get in the field here. Good luck have a great year. What about the cows?
@@iowadairyboysFarms yes...once you start pulling something you will see what works best. Im not a trimble fan but use the JD GPS system and wouldnt farm without it.
Any chance I can get the dimensions for the mounting bracket from someone? I just ordered this unit but they wanted 200 bucks for the bracket that looks pretty basic. Thanks guys, unless someone has one laying around they want to sell for a reasonable price
I've got a buddy that can make me one for nothing but he needs a couple rough measurements like total length of the bracket from the steering column piece and how far up to make the bends. I don't need the spacing for the slotted holes as I already have the unit. Just got delivered today. I can figure out the piece that goes around the column it's just where to make the bends in the flat bar is the biggest part. Thanks again

Can't beat the sound of them 466s. Got a 42 and 48 in 2wd. Front wheel assist tires would sure be nice for turning around at end of field
i drove a 4455 here in Australia for a mate on his farm would sound like a monster when working hard.

Cows are fine but it rains everyday so everything is shitty
I’d like to hook up gps on our John Deere. Is it pretty easy and can you do a how to install and hook up gps in the tractor please?
Good Job , enjoyed the whole thing, can’t wait to see it working in the field 😀👍🏾🚜
Nice video trust me you’ll come to love GPS
Many greetings from Serbia. What is the maximum accuracy with ez steer?
How yah liken it so far?
Never used it doing field work yet
Use A plus heading. Works way better. A -B lines won’t be straight
Our fields curve all over the place I think freeform will work best for curves. But your saying A plus heading makes straighter a b lines?
