As a thug fan, the album really surprised me. Not because it’s new or anything, but it’s an album that represents THUG USING HIS VOICE. Thug was floating on Dropping Jewels no 🧢
Y'all speak saying he's using his voice, no dumbass he's using auto tune to make his voice more commercial, with out it, thug wouldn't be where he is, a lot of artist career literally depend on auto tune, where's the real shit at these days smh.... I'm a fan of thug but lets be real. This album was not good.

@@goldenyeroc ur high as a kite lmaoo go listen to his performances on NPR tiny desk where he uses zero autotune to do some of these songs and they are even better than the studio version. (And no reverb and pitch correcting is NOT autotune)
The songs he performed on his Tiny Desk made me want to listen to this album... those are some of the best songs on the album.

This is Thug growing! I wouldn’t to hear a rapper sound the same his whole career. The way he uses his voice and flows with the instruments this is just amazing. Thug said when he makes albums it’s fun he makes fun music. This is album is for real thug fans who enjoy melody and melodic signs.

The Punk title and The NPR tiny desk he did had me feeling this would be more rock influenced. Which I think he is one of the few rap/trap artists that could actually pull it off. But this is more mellow than bangers. So much fun sequel.

Like Terrance thug is one of my all time favorite artists, I appreciate him trying to be different and more versatile and I do not think any of the songs are bad at all!! It’s just the replay value isn’t great and us true thug fans know this really isn’t his best route but regardless I think there’s still a few great go backs on this joint!! Another banger fellas! I wish Thug actually stuck with the theme. He seemed like he committed to yeh punk idea with some rock elements then it kinda just deviated into a mediocre thug album. Thug has the creativity to go for a trap/rock sound and actually pull it off. I wish he really went for it. Some songs feel very underwritten.
I honestly feel like it’s the label. If u listen to some of the snippets that leaked, they fit the Punk theme he wanted. I think his label had all these features on the album for sales, like Doja cat. And there’s song that just don’t need any features. Hope he gets out his label and releases what he wants to
@@1nate Yeh maybe but I feel like at this point Thug is at a point where has more control over his sound. He has enough industry influence to do what he wants imo. But you could be right. It is a shame though cus I think it has a lot of potential
