First red flag for Ayton was when he got suspended 25 games at the beginning of his career for PEDs. Suns shouldn’t have matched Indiana’s offer last year. Could have recouped somewhere else.
Aytons success was just the CP3 effect, give Cp3 a competent big who has decent hands and can get up, he’ll have them averaging 15+ on high 50 to 60 percent from the field off lobs and dump offs alone. Deandre Jordan, Steven Adams, Tyson Chandler, Ayton, even has Biyombo looking good in some spots.
I say DeAndre Ayton for Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton.... The Suns also need a backup point gaurd for Chris Paul... maybe Fred VanVleet if they can afford him....or Derrick Rose or Coby White...
