Beautiful collection 🔥
Thanks Travis
Sounds like a BLAST! 😎
It’s going to be awesome.
So amazing!! Love seeing them!! Thank you!!
Amazing video!! Thanks for sharing!!
Great explanation. I needed it since I will be going Friday the 3rd. This will be my first rockhounding day. 😊
You’re going to have a blast!
✌😍✌
I'm excited to say I'll be going with my girl
Awesome I’ll be there for sure Friday and Saturday hope I see you!
Man that would be awesome to make it there for that. I’m going to try to come but it’s doubtful this year.
Anytime you’re in the area you let me and Jeff know 👍🏻
@@dustinfindsrocks I definitely will. Thanks bud.
Alas I won't be there .😢 but for a good reason friends are getting married 😊🎉
I’ll miss you man but I’ll keep you updated
You should study the brine fluids related to the mineral deposits.
Yeah I know it was a hyper saline solution in the Permian I think but yeah I need to look into it more. I think that’s why they glow orange under UV also.
@@dustinfindsrocks there was many stages of fluids of various solution mixing in the sub sedimentary layers. I'd suggest starting with the crooked Creek meteor impact and the viburnum trend mineral deposit you enjoy so much. If you learn about hydrothermal quarts and it structures in relationships to fluid temperature it could help you understand the underside of your agate, the complexity of silica to chalcedony bands, the variety in crystal structure, the overlying of chalcedony on quartz and the fun stuff gets into the heavy metals mixing in that. It's really interesting and complex. Message me for more information. Maybe I'll be down for the big dig, but I doubt it.
@@dustinfindsrocks I wonder if the glow has any relationship to zircons they may have picked up from deep sedimentary basin fluid along the great unconformity. Do you notice it in all age material in Missouri or just the older beds? I never read anything about why they floresce myself.
@@quiettime1195 Yeah I would tend to agree with you the orange glow seems to be Ordovician and late Cambrian
@@dustinfindsrocks maybe when I get done with the hydrothermal fluid research, I'll look into that next. It's probably just heavy metal inclusion in the quartz
salted buckets
This is 3 years worth of cherry picked pieces but I assure you it all came from Haunted Ridge. I find at least one piece on this level every time I go
Wish I could go so bad but I can't maybe you can hook me up with some lol or maybe we can work something out lol thanks for sharing
Yeah I know a guy 😉
So would you be willing to do a trade
@@keithcunningham7925 Pretty busy with stuff right now but yeah I'm down.
