Loved my s10e. Fantastic little phone. I miss having the fingerprint reader in the power button. Switching from iPhone 12 back to Pixel 5 in hopes of better battery and camera.
Been rocking my Pixel 2 for over 4 years now, and I finally just went ahead and ordered a refurbished S10e from Back Market for an insane price of 165 USD. I was trying to hold out for a decent drop in price this fall on a Pixel 5 but using the camera on my Pixel 2 is starting to be a risk, I've had the phone just shut off on me, especially below 40% battery. Plus the battery is not holding up anymore. The s10e is an upgrade in many respects from my current phone, and for that price? They give a 5% student discount as well. I appreciate this comparison vid, was surprised to see the two phones I was considering pitted against one another. So thanks Simple Alpaca, looking forward to my new (to me) S10e!
Was looking at the Pixel 5 and S10e and I went with the Pixel for the price I got it was 299 used...GREAT DEAL! I am somewhat disappointed in the Pixel due to the lack of features as compared to Samsung. Although I do like some features of the Pixel that Samsung doesn't have. I will say the S10e speakers are great compared to the Pixel and call quality suffers on the Pixel due to the earpiece being behind the glass display(bone induction tech) But I did buy the Pixel only for price and to reacclimate myself to Pixel cause the Pixel 6 will be out soon.
@@alexv3775 no it's not (s10e owner here) it's acceptable, don't get me wrong, but my pixel 2's photos were far far better than the ones I get from my s10e
S10e user here. I like my old Pixel 2 XL more than the s10e. I have the US version with the Snapdragon but it still feels sluggish because it's not stock android. The camera is meh, I downloaded the pixel camera app but it doesn't really look the same either.
Actually I prefer the way Samsung is cooking Android. For example you have EQ system wide, and can control volume of ringtone and notifications separately. Plus I oike the build of S10e much better than Pixel 5, and again the speakers quality... So both are good compact phones something is better on Samsung something on Pixel
Even tho the snapdragon is faster the exynos chips are better optimised for the samsung phones. My galaxy s10 plus with exynos outclasses my mom's iPhone 13 in daylight.
@@dr.liamboss1596 S1Oe is a fully loaded 2019 flagship so if you did a full feature comparison youd probably find it has a few extras the P5 doesnt have. Like I brought the s10e because it has TRUE DUAL sim which P5 doesnt have! But P5 has 5g that s10e doesnt have so it comes down to what features are the priority for each consumer!
A higher refresh rate display doesn't increase scrolling speed but scrolling smoothness and legibility during scrolling. Since this video is only 30fps it can't capture that.
@@farishanafiah8461 totally agree. I decided to buy the Sony Xperia 5ii instead because it's pretty cheap now and it does have it all. SD card. Good battery etc. Using it now for about 2 to 3 weeks and I must say the size is still good. And the phone is amazing.
@@Kanuk97 well not counting games because it is not s10e purpose. i used snapdragon version and yesterday still 6hrs 10 minutes sot. Just the usual setting and i let my background apps running all the time
S10e size to very small for me in the day time its good but at the night while laying on a bed the phone literally fall on my face many times 😴 and battery is not up to mark and phone has heating issue while using camera or video calls 😢
@TwinTurbo Ray your wrong 90hz and 120hz displays scroll alot faster than a 60hz. You want to call it more "smoother" but i can scroll down though 100 pages in 5 seconds with 90hz display, it takes 9 seconds with a 60hz display. It's faster! Duh?! 🤣
You can clear all apps from the Pixel if you scroll all the way to the left; you’ll see a “clear all” button.

It's a shame that the new ASUS Zenfone 8 doesn't have an expandable microSD card slot, or else it would be a worthy upgrade to the S10e.

How do you get the gesture bar at the bottom and corners of the s10e like the Pixel?
Go to settings than go to display then go to Navigation bar, from there you can change the guestures.
Can it do image stabilisation at 60fps 4k (edit:) on wide angle? S10e can't even do 2k with stabilisation.

I have the S10e, the battery is TRASH. That alone is a reason not to buy it.
