Oh darn; I stopped halfway through and didn't see the end until now. Oh well. If anyone wants to know the logic, here's how I figured after 4 clues: So you’re first clue of Aline Florio, you know the lady has to have only one of Note, Writing, and Ring. Second clue you know the lady has only 1 of Crown, Rattle, and Note. Third clue you know its zero or two of Heart, Rattle, and Crown. Here's where you can logic out most of it. First, if you look at the lady of the same color, Aline Florio, which you already revealed and she should be zero or two. As Aline has zero in common with the present clue, our lady must have two of them. It can’t be the Crown and Rattle because the 2nd clue says there’s only 1 of Crown/Rattle/Note, so one of the items must be Heart and either Crown or Rattle and not the Note. Since it’s not the note, from clue one you know the last item has to be Writing or Ring. So after 3 clues we know it’s definitely Heart and Writing/Ring and Crown/Rattle. Fourth clue says one of Heart/Crown/Writing. We know it’s the heart which means it cannot be the Crown or Writing, so the answer must be Heart, Ring, Rattle!
Jason, this is great!! You know what, I love that you gave this to everyone, send me an email at onestopcoopshop@gmail.com and I will get you hooked up with a copy of the kickstarter game deal? Appreciate you writing out for us and watching the vid. Have a great day!
Jason, I really like your progressive explanation. I came to the same conclusion, but studied all five cards. Does this mean that Colin could have won after only four clue cards, using the last fog card for the final search? :)
Fantastic playthrough! As the designer, it is very exciting for me to see my game being played and enjoyed. And especially great to see your highs and lows as you track and lose the Dark Lady - she's a tricky one! I've also learned something from the comments so far - I never knew Southwark is pronounced "Suthek". Unfortunately I live just about as far away from London as is possible, so I have yet to visit all these locations, a few of which are still there. It was great fun researching the theme and designing the game, and I'm really looking forward to the KickStarter coming soon... Thanks again! JK
John, Thank you for watching and commenting!! The game is beautifully designed and I hope I did it justice in the playthrough. Since you know the inside and out of this game, what is your win percentage? 70%? Just curious what I have to work myself up to, currently 0 for 5 so a bit of a ways to go! Glad to know the community taught you something too! I always appreciate it when people let me know how to actually pronounce names!! I am so pumped for the kickstarter and I wish you the best of luck! Thanks again for designing the game!

Hello, in the rule book it says "Finally, advance the stealth deck by one card for each clue card you have, including the new one if you were successful. This represents the Lady fleeing" By saying card, is fog card included? For example, let's say we spot the lady and get our first clue card. Will we only move the fog card?
You made one huge mistake; once you pick who the dark lady is, you remove the other dark lady card with the same back and place the location keys on top. That card becomes the clue you receive for going to every location. Not sure if that was changed after or during the KS.
Amazing playthrough! We're really excited to get this game out to the rest of the community. I know print & play lovers have really enjoyed it so it totally deserves a published version.
It helps to track the order of locations, so like after you got your 2nd clue it was ?, beer, church. That means from southward she'd have to be in bishops gate unless she doubled back. So after you see she's not in Southward, you know she's at bishops gate.
Basically I like to use the location tokens at the start; put down in all locations she could be at, then when you draw the next card/move, only put the tokens on those places adjacent to the location prior. Doing this a few times should corner where she's at.
Jason, GREAT ideas!! I love this, and is probably the reason I have never won yet. Thanks for the great idea, and for watching! Out of curiosity do you enjoy the game?
Awesome explanation & playthrough! In anticipation of the new expansion being released, I /finally/ got my hands on a copy. Such a unique mechanic with the holes in location cards!
Hello! from 2020, can't believe something solo + hidden movement like this exist, so cleverly design just as non-solo hidden movement, now I'm so intrigued to the designer on how he did it and how long did it took for him to map the Dark Lady's movement. I love this mystery/puzzle-kind of game, Kudos! Ayt! to the cart.
At 9:00, it was a 1/2 chance. There are only two houses connected to trees connected to masks. This game is as clever as anything I've seen. I never would've thought solo and hidden movement could work, but everything fits well together.
Thank you David!! Yeah the game is so so clever!! After the playthrough I sat own and used the stealth cards to follow the Dark Lady from location to location, and it is pretty genius how the designer did the mapping of the movements. So cool! Thanks for watching!
The replayability is amazing too as there's 8 set-ups on the cards; and you can do them backwards so it's really 16, but then there's also the additional sequences you can play (which I would recommend because you can start easy and work your way up) 4 Very Easy, 12 Easy, 12 Moderate, and 12 Hard! That's 56 possible paths she can take! Which of course means even if you did all 56, there's no way you'd remember any of them if you redid them.
Totally agree!! My ONLY issue with replayability is that there are only 2 of each flower card (except the lavender one). If I play back to back I may remember what was on one of the blue clue cards from a prior game. Otherwise though, there is a TON of replayability here!
Colin--no guess on this video, but every one else seems to be doing a Patreon or yearly kickstarter or gofundme to afford new games to film. This would help your pocketbook. You are well known and well loved now, so you should consider it!
Wesley! Thanks for the suggestion! Right now, we are in a good place financially so no need to ask for money, I want people to spend it on buying their own games ha! I do appreciate the suggestion though!!
It should be Heart, Ring, and Rattle. - The 3rd Card "Penlope Rich" is the key to the solution. We see the other blue card (2nd card). None of the symbols of the 3rd card is on the 2nd card, so the hidden blue card matches two symbols on the 3rd card. - The 4th card has 2 symbols (heart, krone) in common with the third but, only one with the hidden blue card. So only one of these two are valid, this means the not matching symbol of this comparison, the rattle, is one of the searched icons. - The rattle is also on the 1st and 5th card, so it is not the inkpot, the chain, the krone nor the note, because of only one symbol matches with the hidden one. - This excludes 4 out of 7 symbols, leaving heart, ring and rattle to be the searched ones.
Here's my logic: If Penelope Rich had zero clues, then heart, rattle and crown cannot be used. This leaves musical note for Mary and pen for Lacy. Yet, Aline has both pen and note, and she can only have one card in common. Therefore Penelope Rich must not have zero cards and she has 2. Now, the crown appears with the rattle on Mary's clue and with the pen on Lacy's clue. But those clues can have a single card in common, so Crown cannot be a valid feature. So, heart and rattle are the valid options for Penelope. And these 2 cards appear in three other clue cards, except Aline's. On Aline's card, the pen and the note appear in other clue cards that already have a single coincidence. Therefore, the only option is the ring. Heart, Rattle, Ring should be the answer then.
Great playthrough Colin. I'm a little late to the party here, but I just have one question regarding replay-ability. Theoretically, if you played the game enough to know what each ladies symbols were, couldn't you deduce from your very first clue card (which according to your set up is always the other lady card with the matching symbol on the back) which lady you have under the board and having played enough, know what her three symbols are?
@@OneStopCoopShop I watched Bairnt's playthrough after yours. I think his copy was a delivered Kickstarter copy and not a pre-production copy. He placed the opposing dark lady card off to the side and that is what he was allowed to claim after he had visited every location. I could see simply leaving that card out all together once you are familiar with the cards.
(Steve here) I find the replayability better than I expected. The main problem is this is not a game you can play the same movement path more than two times in a row since you would start to learn the pattern. However taking enough breaks between plays I have found the replayability good.
Am I wrong or is it actually pretty easy to trace where she's at? I really like the idea of this game and the novelty in the mechanics, but at the moment it seems to easy to track
Hi Lee, so I played the game on the basic mode. There are more challenging tracks that she can take on the back of the book. Also the more clues you find the harder it is to track her due to the fog card mechanic. Hope that helps!
Once familiar with the cards, once you flip that first clue card you know the matching cards symbols and the guessing is over. This game is broken unless you have many more clue cards of different variety no?
Matthew De Lorge That was kind of my thought too. The good thing for me is that I don't play the same games over and over so reckon I'd forget what the cards were.
The designer has a comment about this on the BGG page and the kickstarter. If you played this game back to back a ton and memorized the symbols then this can be an issue. However, he suggests that you ensure you can logically determine the dark lady's traits before revealing!
One Stop Co-op Shop understood. So this isn't a game that's expected to be played a ton, more so played once and forgotten about until played again. I can't play this like I play Onirim, where I can bang out four games in a row and play it a couple times a week. Also, Onirim plays cooperatively and solo as well and has a ton of expansions. I like variety in my games, unless they're very cleverly built, but have plenty of replay ability.
I get what you are saying for sure. I will say every time I played this, I usually played it 4 times in a row at least. I just didn't memorize the symbols. Also there are 8 different basic paths plus some advanced paths you can use where her journey changes. Also each time she starts in a different location due to you cutting the stealth deck. Know I have 0 stake in the game, this was a free demo etc. so I am not trying to sell you on the game, I just want you to know there is replayability here. :)
One Stop Co-op Shop totally understand. I tend to pick things like that up though, as will others. If people are aware of this people that are like me won't buy this blind and then give it a poor rating. Rather this be in homes that will appreciate it rather than not. I get that a Kickstarter is looking for funding, but it's still about getting a game that fits ones tastes. I'll probably be in the minority, but there are those who will associate the symbols with the name without trying.
So, do the rattle, heart and ring correspond to a lady card? Which one is it? I downloaded the printable version, and I can't see who the lady would be based on those symbols. Maybe I misunderstood something... Great playthrough btw!! You have a sweet personality. Very enjoyable.

Bummer yes :( I usually don't do giveaways where it is first come first serve, but alas this one has already been claimed. Regardless thanks for watching!!
From the rules: "The new top card represents the Lady's new location, which is never more than 1 step from her previous location." I think you're putting too many black tokens out when she moves.
Aww I missed out by 7 hours :/ I worked out those 3 too! What a great game and play through Colin :) I'm certainly going to look out for this on kickstarter and back it :) Thanks for bringing it to us Colin! Ace job.
Awesome!! Yeah normally I try not to do time sensitive giveaways because it is not you fault you couldn't see it before, but this one it just felt right. ha! Thanks so much for watching and I am glad you liked the game! Pretty sweet design if you ask me.
One Stop Co-op Shop haha, it looks like a really clever game. I think you did well presenting it as well as playing it. Definitely looks fun and tricky. Seems right up my street. Keep up the good work, you do a great job
Oh darn; I stopped halfway through and didn't see the end until now. Oh well. If anyone wants to know the logic, here's how I figured after 4 clues:
So you’re first clue of Aline Florio, you know the lady has to have only one of Note, Writing, and Ring.

You got it Frank! Love seeing you logic it out, thanks for sharing!!
Here's my logic:
If Penelope Rich had zero clues, then heart, rattle and crown cannot be used. This leaves musical note for Mary and pen for Lacy. Yet, Aline has both pen and note, and she can only have one card in common. Therefore Penelope Rich must not have zero cards and she has 2.

Bummer yes :( I usually don't do giveaways where it is first come first serve, but alas this one has already been claimed. Regardless thanks for watching!!
Thanks for the video
Sounds like this game may be up your ally :) Thank you for watching!!
Looks like love letters from whitechapel :)
Oh nice, didn't think of that! Plays very different from that game though. Thanks for watching!
My guess: Amorous, married, has children
Nice!
From the rules: "The new top card represents the Lady's new location, which is
never more than 1 step from her previous location."
I think you're putting too many black tokens out when she moves.
OK too long since I played, can't remember. Although the designers told me I played everything correctly so there's that.
Heart, Baby rattle and circlet (bottom icon on Alain Florie)
BOOM!! You got it!! Can you send me an email at onestopcoopshop@gmail.com to figure out your prize? Thanks!!
Aww I missed out by 7 hours :/ I worked out those 3 too! What a great game and play through Colin :) I'm certainly going to look out for this on kickstarter and back it :)
Thanks for bringing it to us Colin! Ace job.
Awesome!! Yeah normally I try not to do time sensitive giveaways because it is not you fault you couldn't see it before, but this one it just felt right. ha! Thanks so much for watching and I am glad you liked the game! Pretty sweet design if you ask me.
Note, rattle, crown
Close!! Heart instead of note! :)
One Stop Co-op Shop haha, it looks like a really clever game. I think you did well presenting it as well as playing it. Definitely looks fun and tricky. Seems right up my street. Keep up the good work, you do a great job
Thanks so much Pete, appreciate the kind words!! If you are interested in it, make sure to check out the kickstarter on June 5th! :)
