Honestly I half wish someone would just crack up at some of these fashion shows. A lot of the most famous fashion brands got their start with clothing that was meant to be worn, changing how fashion currently was, and higher level. Seeing what qualifies as high fashion now is laughable. It’s treated more like modern art. Little of it seems wearable, is sometimes straight up objectively ugly, and just an attempt to outdo the current thing instead of innovating anything.

As a concept artist, everytime I'm feeling low on confidence about my outfit designs for my characters, I just go on RUclips and watch one of these fashion shows and then I feel like im the next top fashion designer XD

I read that the clothes in fashion shows aren’t actually supposed to be worn. It’s supposed to show the designer’s creativity and ideas. Like when you go to an art exhibit and look at the paintings
