Great vlogs mate. Brit here supporting a fellow Brit🇬🇧. Pleasing to see a fellow Brit give such a positive true image of Pakistan. Just shows that you should never believe what you see in the media:). I am of Pakistani origin born and bred just outside London in the UK, so very enlightening for me to see the country from your perspective. Oh and its amazing how you both have picked up the local language aswell, made me smile when you said 'inshallah' in your search for finding a bank that will allow you to take cash out 😊.

Listen, I am just tired of all Pakistani comments here how self praising you all are and how wonderful you guys are; but then you turn around and proudly announce your foreign citizenship and residency abroad, thus showing low self esteem and inferiority complex. I mean in just few videos I have seen, Pakistanis asking tourists to get them out of the country to theirs? You know you need to go to respective country embassies to fulfill the law to get visas. Tourists can not help you. So I am just perplexed with your cultural trend. Don't get me wrong, I find the people topnotch in their moral compass but too much self serving comments repeatedly the same perplexes some of us as to why you can't evolve a little for the better?

Swat is a place which was given the title of "Switzerland of Pakistan" by Queen Elizabeth in early 60s. Welcome to the land of Pakhtuns bro 🥰

Switzerland would be a valley in Pakistan. No comparison. We have thousands of mountains. Switzerland has 2 mountains above 15,000 feet. Pakistan has more than a hundred. Pakistan also has 5 of the 14 highest mountains in the world and over 3,000 glaciers. More than any other country. Comparing Pakistan to Switzerland is an injustice.

The belt you are currently travelling is one of the oldest civilisation along with Mesopotamian civilisation (Iraq).
The markets in the north Pakistan were part of silk route (route for trade of silk from china to the rest of the sub continent) they are the oldest markets 600-700 years old.
Ever since I heard the story of Malala I have a deep desire of visiting the SWAT valley. Can’t wait for the day I day I land on the Pakistani soil and explore that beautiful country.

I won't be too sure about the guides they have chosen on this one. I have been to Swat a few times and there are a lot more natural scenic locations to visit in that place than a meaningless non-existent cave. But I guess we have to wait and see how the rest of the journey goes.
The guides don't know much. Harry was under the impression that Swat is a city and asked if the city in the distance is Swat, the guide just said yes. Harry said the stupa was 18th century but it's probably 6th century. I'm in the UK and could do a better job.
Idk maybe the guides should ask them what they are looking for.
I wouldn't be too interested in the Stupa, or the cave, or even the Museum unless I was some historian or archaeology researcher. Not when I am in an area like Swat/Kalam, where there is so much more to explore and time is short.
They couldn't even manage to tell them that Swat is a valley, and it's an entire region of villages and small towns, and I didn't see some great scenic locations one is supposed to encounter while travelling to that area. That makes me wonder on what road they took them from.
Let's just hope the rest of their journey takes them through the right places and these guys don't end up ruining it for them but fingers crossed.

Here is a couple of things to remember when going to a currency exchange in Pakistan. I had some problems too when I was visiting Pak.
1: 99% of the currency exchange places will ONLY accept new 100 dollar bill. Anything less like a 50 or a 20 dollar bill will be denied.
2: When withdrawing money from the Bank in the US, make sure there are no writings, pen or pencil marks on those 100 dollar Bills.
If you follow these steps then you won't face any issues during currency exchange.

Yeah not all banks process international Visa cards. Standard chartered Bank, MCB perhaps are the ones to go to. You were right, lesser bank ATMs processing international cards in the North. USD 400 is seriously insufficient. A normal Pakistani family of two adults and two kids( almost like mine) the expenses come around 800 Dollars for a tour to Hunza valley. On your own vehicle and without a guide. Fuel, meals and accommodation only. No extra site trips.

It's always gud to see u enjoying my country .. and this paratha bread along with omlate or sometimes with cream honey or with anything you want is a very common breakfast here in pakistan most of the ppl use to have it every day .. so it's gud that u guys have tried it .. and for exchanging money frm bank is not a gud idea as they won't pay much like exchanges do. Btw, Swat was not entirely under Taliban rule. There were some strong holds towards the westerner part. There’s huge military presence in Swat which quickly got rid of the menace.
Swat has now lost all the charm it once had.
RN Neelum valley of Kashmir has some eye catching scenery, just wish that don’t get affected by encroachment and deforestation

You can tell them not to use that much oil in Paratha, or Dry Paratha. There is another name for it but I seem to forget that every time. But Dry Paratha works.
The Pakistani chefs have a way to make the food deep in the oil , Which can be unusual for stomachs 😝 to go with such food...Aside they have variety of taste in their menu on the Table..😊
