All across the world people think that Pakistan is the most dangerous country to travel to but these two wonderful men are changing the mindset. Excellent job guys! I can't wait to travel to Pakistan. So glad to see how helpful the Police are out there taking care of you guys. Making sure their guests are safe and secure.

Impressed at how you and Mac are understanding and respectful of local conditions and their limits e.g. heating, roads, bathrooms, delays but are also honest in your vlogs as that helps to prepare other travellors of what to expect. Glad you're enjoying the northern part of Pakistan. Its completely safe but for peace of mind, the police escort is mandatory. The international media watches Pakistan like hawks, waiting for us to slip up or for something bad to happen so they can absolutely crucify Pakistans image. That's why the Pakistani leadership is over protective of tourists, even when it's not necessary.

There have been other RUclipsrs WITHOUT any police escorts. Having a police escort does not necessarily mean it's an unsafe place. If it really was that unsafe then they would not even be allowed in the first place.

@@adventurerh4238 I'm not being offended so kindly don't assume. I'm stating facts. The region is as safe as it can get but the govt do not want to take any risk even if it's one in a million for the simple reason of not going back to square one when the region was deemed unsafe for tourists. Many other RUclipsrs have indeed traveled there without secutiy escorts. As an analogy, important buildings in first world countries have security which does not necessarily indicate that the place is dangerous. Understand this simple point.

Guys "Yak" is an animal on the mountains. It is caught from the mountains, as they cannot be raised in captivity or farmed.
It resembles the American Bison to an extent if you want to draw comparisons. The Yak only eats herbs and not the grass or just any plant, and these herbs make it simply the most delicious and also the most healthy organic meat on the planet.

The food you had at the end (dumplings and pilaf) are something also common with Central Asian countries like Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The dumplings (these look like Manti) would be eaten only together with sour cream and the pilaf (also with mutton) would have carrots and raisins. I hope your travels will take you there sometime. Uzbekistan is on my list, but I have been to Kazakhstan 4 x (I also speak Russian) and it's really an amazing place with super friendly people. Keep up the great vlogs.

I fink it's such a unique country,It is not your run-of-the-mill one dimensional monotonous type of scenery,I mean from mountains to rivers, plain lands to farms, forests to deserts you name it Pakistan have it all.
Infrastructure needs a full swoop overhaul but must say this country is so diverse.Harry please let me know in one-liner your true thought about Pakistan thus far,I need your one-liner from your heart on what you feel about Pakistan?
Hope you gen me up on your honest review

Hi Harry, welcome to the Hunza Valley. Nice to know that you guys had a safe and enjoyable journey from Swat to Hunza. May I know which hotel you checked in at the end of this vlog? Is it in Karimabad or some other town near by? Did the hotel staff tell you guys anything about the hot water timings. I believe that most of the hotels in that area only have running hot water for about 2 or 3 hours a day. Mind telling me what are the room rates? Kind regards.

@@harryjaggardtravel thanks for the prompt reply. May I suggest for you to visit Hunza Food Pavilion. Its only about a 100 yards from your hotel. Stop by for a meal and ask for Laal Shazadi, which literally translates to 'red princess'. No kidding, that's her name. She was the first female in Hunza to start her own business. Since then she has become some sort of a youtube celebrity. You can do a whole vlog on her. She was even visited by Mark Wiens in Dec 2018, a youtuber with over 8.3 million subscribers.
